"Hey, Y/N, can I see you for a minute?" Legolas asks. You look up at him as you're cleaning your bow.
     Smiling, you nod. "Sure." You reply.
     You're a skin changer-half Elf half Wolf-and you joined the Fellowship in Rivendell. You've fallen in love with Legolas and you hold on to that small hope that he feels the same way for you.
     Legolas takes your hand and gently pulls you up.
     "Where are you two going?" Boromir asks, as he stokes the fire.
     "We'll be back soon." Legolas replies, easily avoiding the question.
     Your heart races as Legolas walks you into the woods. He takes a deep breath, turns to face you, and picks up your other hand.
     "Y/N, I can't do this anymore." He states. Your eyebrows draw in confusion and you shake your head.
     "Do what anymore?" You ask.
     Legolas suddenly cups your cheek, crushes your body against his, and kisses you passionately. A minute goes before you take a step away from him, your hand on your chest, breathless. Your eyes wide, you stare at him.
     "I love you so much, Y/N. I wanted to tell you for such a long time but I was scared. Now-now I finally had the guts." He breathes. 
     "Oh, Legolas." You whisper, tears in your eyes. "I love you too." You say, running into his arms.

     "I want to give you something." Legolas says, as you're both on your way back to camp. Out of his pocket, he pulls out two necklaces that connect together. A moon and a sun.
     "It can be our relationship bond since I have no ring to give you." He states, handing you the moon half. You smile and put it on.
     "It's beautiful." You whisper. Legolas smiles, placing a small kiss on your lips.

     "Did you boys ever notice that necklace Y/N wears?" Gimli asks Aragorn, Gandalf, and Boromir, as the rest of the Fellowship sleeps.
     "I did notice it, why?" Aragorn asks. Gimli lets out a low chuckle before crawling over to you. He gently unclasps the necklace from your neck and clutches it in his hands.
     "Gimli." Boromir warns.
     "Oh, no, no, no, no I'm not stealing it. Just having a bit of fun that's all." Gimli replies, grinning.
     That morning when you wake, you put your cloak back on. Your hand brushes against your throat and that's when you realize your necklace is missing. In a panic you look around yourself, your heart beating wildly.
     "Legolas!" You exclaim.
     "Y/N, what is it?" He asks worriedly, noticing how pale you look. Your hand rests at the base of your throat. You're close to tears.
     "My necklace is missing." You whisper. "It has to be around here somewhere. I felt it last night when I went to sleep." You state. Legolas and the Halflings are helping you look all around camp for it.
     "You said it looks like a moon?" Frodo asks. You nod.
     Frodo notices Aragorn, Gandalf, Boromir, and Gimli acting strange. He sighs and walks over to them, holding his hand out. "Come on, guys, give it to me." He says softly.
     "Give what to you?" Gandalf asks.
     "Y/N's necklace. You can see how distraught she is that it's gone. I know one of you took it. So give it to me and Y/N doesn't have to know about this." Frodo whispers.
     Gimli sighs and reaches into his pocket. He holds out the necklace to Frodo and the Halfling takes it.
     "Found it!" Frodo announces, holding up the necklace triumphantly. You look up and breathe a sigh of relief.
     "Oh, Frodo, thank you so much for finding it!" You exclaim. "I have no clue how it could've gotten over there." You add.
     Frodo shrugs and hands the necklace to Legolas. Legolas moves the hair off your neck and puts the necklace on.
     "All better." He whispers, his hands on your shoulders. You sigh as he kisses your cheek.
