"How long do I have to keep up this nice girl act!?" Zoom sat on Luna's balcony and made a face at her, "till you get the info we need to take him down!" Luna growl at him, "hey! Control your wolf side otherwise you'll blow your cover!" Luna made a face at him, "If I have to play other song for him on this dumb flute... I am going to go wolf on him!" Zoom shook his head in defeat, "just be nice to him and get the info we need and don't attack him!" Luna made a face as she watch Zoom ran off in a supersonic yellow blur into the forest. "I am going to throw up in my mouth every time I have to be nice to him." Luna only closed her window and walked out of her room. *Seriously, if I gold coin for every fake smile I gave him in the past 3 months I been here! I will be richer than him in a landslide!* Luna was so lost in her thought that she bumped into Ananke, "Oh, I am sorry, my lord, I should have watched where I was going."

Ananke smiled at her and bowed his head, "no need to be sorry, it was my fault," Luna smiled at him while making tons of smart and rude comments about him in her head. "Are you heading out to the palace garden, Luna?" Luna quickly looked at the scroll in her hand and read it, "yes, Cheng ask me to provide entertainment while you see Princess Chunhua." Ananke made a face when he heard that name, "great, other princess visit, that's makes number eight in the past week." Luna tried so hard not to laugh because he was suffering with all these princess visit. "Well, I hope it won't be too boring because I will playing music for you both, suggested by Cheng." Ananke smiled and followed her outside to the garden where the princess was waiting for him. Luna bowed to her and walked over to a harp that was set up a few feet away from the table the royals were sitting at. Ananke saw her sit down and started to play the beautiful music in the garden.

He felt like a dumb sailor being draw to a beautiful siren's song because he was lost in her music. He didn't pay attention to the princess at all and she only got upset and left. But Luna only kept on playing to her enchanted Prince that was caught under her spell. His heart raced and officially stop when she started to sing a soft lullaby. It was one her mother always sang to her every night when she was a wolf pup.

Luna looked up and saw the Princess was gone and Ananke sat alone at the table staring at her. "I sorry if my music upset her and caused her to leave." *Man, I wish didn't stop playing! I could have listen to her for hours!* Ananke stood up and walked up to Luna, "no, she left because she had her own kingdom to attend to. Your music is enchanting, if anyone dislikes it then they are a fool." *Boy! It's enchanting because it is! I used my own magic to tried a cast a spell on you! A truth spell, so, you can tell me your secrets but for some reason, it didn't work!* Luna smiled and stood up from the harp, "I guess my music is magically sometimes." Ananke laughs and smiled, "that song .. I never heard before, where did you learned it?" Luna got nervous and tuck a piece of her hair behind her left ear, "it's a lullaby my mother sang to me every night when I was little, it's the last thing I have of her... I" Luna technically didn't lie about the lullaby because her wolf mother did sing it to her before she past away and died.

Ananke wrapped his arms around her and hugged her which surprised her. "It's alright, you don't have to be alone, I am here for you." Luna didn't know how to react, tears only ran down her face. Not because of her mother's death or the lullaby, it was the fact that Ananke cares about her but she is not even a real human. Ananke smiled as he place a hand on the back of her head and let his fingers run through her snow white hair. Luna stopped her tears when she felt him do this and quickly pulled away, "Luna?" "Your a King, I am a simple girl, please, lets just respect our titles and keep our distant." Luna quickly walked away and ran up to her room, locking herself in it for the rest of the day. Ananke walked to his room and closed the door after leaving the garden. He walked to his desk and placed his hand on it to hold himself up from falling.

"For 2 years, Cheng has been trying to marry me off, bringing princess after princess to the castle. I rejected every signal one and send them packing back to their kingdom. But I ... she ..." Ananke blushed a the thought of Luna appeared his head, her blue eyes, snow white hair. Her smile that would light up any room she steps into. "Am I .. I ..in love?" Ananke asked all the major questions in his head but what really decided it when he heard her playing her flute on her balcony. He smiled and blushes even more as he confessed to himself and whispered to himself. "I am seriously in love with you and I would do anything to make you my queen, Luna." Luna looked over and saw Ananke watching her and she only made an annoyed face at him and closed her window. "I seriously hate him and I would do anything to rip that crown off your head!"

4 days later

Luna walked threw the village market place and saw how terrible it was. The buildings are barely standing, windows are boarded up, many of the shops are closed. "Excuse me, miss, do you have any food to spare?" Luna look down and saw a small young boy holding her robe. She smiled and reached in her pocket and pulled out a piece of bread. "It's not much but it should help a strong young boy like you." The young boy smiled and thanked her for the bread and ran off to a elder women sitting under a tree. He broke the bread into pieces and fed it to her since she was too weak and ill to so it herself. "Attention, everyone!" Luna saw royal guards standing in the village square and had a empty cart with them, "you know what to do! Pay up!" Luna watch this poor people loaded whatever they had left into cart in order to pay for their taxes. *This is't right!* Suddenly the young boy that she gave the bread to was screaming in protest, "you can't take it! I need that food for my grandmother! She is really sick, she will died if she doesn't have any food to eat!"

Luna couldn't take it anymore she ran and hid behind a stack of crates, "solar sun, shine so bright, glowing through the day. Let your light be my wrath upon the men that harm those I care for." Luna hands and eyes glowed as she used her magic on the soldiers. The sun suddenly shine directly on the soldiers and caused them to go blind, "Ahh! My eyes! I can't see!" They all stumble and fell as they tried to leave with the cart but they couldn't get far. Luna smiled as the soldiers ran off and left the cart and the people cheered as they got their things back. The small boy pick up his bread and saw Luna hiding behind the boxes, "Solar sun, your light is enough, gently set now because my wrath is done." The sun slowly set in a golden glow in the horizon, "a miraculous wolf?" Luna look and saw the boy who saw her used her magic, she place a finger to her lip and signal him to keep this a secret. Luna smiled and allowed herself to de - transform and showed her wolf form and ran off into the forest.

The boy jaw dropped and ran to his grandmother, "grandmama! I saw a miraculous wolf! She used her magic to make the mean men go away!" With a weak smile the grandmother sat up and look at her grandson, "My little tiger, legend says if you see a miraculous wolf in it's true form, is a sight of hope and peace" The boy mad a weird face, "Does that mean will be safe?." The grandmother laughs as the boy fed her more of the bread, "someday my boy, you'll see her again, maybe she will bring hope and peace to this kingdom." Luna smiled as she over heard the boy and his grandmother and walked back to the palace. Ananke was not happy with his soldiers that came back empty handed.

"You good for nothing bats! You had one job! Collect the taxes from the people and bring it to me! What do you do!? You screw up and saying that the sun suddenly made you blind! When it was cloudy outside and can't hardly see the sun!" Luna walked in and smiled as she heard Ananke yelling and in rage at his men. *Next time, I will turn them to actually bats if Ananke tries to steal from the people again* Ananke send them off after he finished yelling at them and told them that their punishment. Is to sever 3 months as stable boys to the war dragons." The guards beg for mercy because everyone knows that war dragon stable boys barely go a entire day without getting torture by the dragons. Ananke didn't change his mind and order guards to take the men to the war dragon stables. Ananke ran his hands threw his hair as he groans out of frustration till he saw Luna in the corner of his eye. "Luna?"

Luna stop and bowed to him, "good night, my lord, if you excuse me I must head back to my chamber." Ananke shook his head yes, "Of course... Luna." Luna walked off and went inside her room and saw Firestorm waiting for her. "Somebody decide to play hero?" Luna rolled her eyes at him as she undid her hair and let it fall down her back. "They were stealing from the people, I had to do my job and protect them as a miraculous wolf." Firestorm growled at her but Luna did't move at all, "you could have blow your cover!" Luna walk over to a secret door in the wall and took out a scroll from the shelf, "here, the latest report on Prince grumpy pants." Firestorm read the scroll and was surprised how much information is on the scroll. "Girl! Did you put a love spell on him and made him talk because there more secrets on here than Zoom's journal." Luna rolled her eyes as she ate a bowl of rice, "please, any magic I tried to use on him for some reason doesn't work but that doesn't matter because your getting the info you need." Firestorm rolled up the scroll and made a face at her, "we still need to know what he is after!" Luna hangs her head in defeat, "I am trying! You think it's easy to be nice and charming to a man that can kill me two seconds flat!"

Firestorm look at her and rolled his eyes, "just find out what he is after, ok?" Jasmine pointed her chopsticks at him and a blast of white magic shot out of him and almost hit him. "Luna! You know I hate it when you use ice magic on me!" Luna smiled and gave a innocent look and ate her rice, "sometimes you just need to cool down." Firestorm groans and left her room as she lay in her bed and fell asleep for the night.
