"We're All A Little Sick"
The girl looked down on her loved ones parents. Their blood splattered the walls.
She picked up her father-in-laws head. "If you had let us be together this wouldn't have happened." She said with a smile. She threw the man's head down the hallway.
As she went to leave the house she stepped over a woman's arms. Her lover's mother.
"You're sick! I can't believe I ever trusted you! Or loved you!" She heard a woman scream.
She looked behind her and saw the woman she loved, her wife, all tied up in a chair. "Don't say that my darling. They weren't going to let us be together. I did it for us."
She crouched down by her dearly beloved. "I don't want to be with you anymore! I hate you!" Yelled the woman.
"Hush now, don't be so loud. You'll attract neighbors. Im surprised your parents didn't when they started screaming." She laughed at the recollection.
The woman spit in her face. The killers eyes filled with anger. "You said you loved me! You said you wanted to be with me! I did this for us! I love you! You need to love me!"
Out of rage the woman sliced her wife's throat. As her blood spilled down her body she brought her hand up to hold the dying woman's. "I know you love me. And now, you always will."
The almost dead woman looked into the eyes of her killer. "I do love you," she managed to get out, "and I hate it."
They held hands one last time as she took her dying breaths.
The psychotic woman kissed the lips of her now dead wife for the last time before she got up and left.
She walked until she got to the place she first met her wife, at her workplace.
She slipped in the back door so she wouldn't be noticed and made her way quickly to the elevator.
Pushing the button to the top floor she began to have second thoughts about killing her lover then. They could've died together. But what was done was done and now the crazy woman was going to finish what she had planned.
As the doors opened she checked to see if anyone were there. She did not want to be stopped. This is how it had to end.
She walked calmly to the last staircase she would ever ascend. She threw open the door to the roof.
As she walked over to the edge of the building she thought about how happy her wife had made her these past three years. Until the woman's parents came into the picture.
They were very religious and frowned upon the marriage of two women. Which is why they weren't invited. They weren't even present when the two women first welcomed their adopted son home.
The woman didn't kill her son of course. He was left with his aunt. If the woman's sister had any questions as to why he had brought almost everything he owned with him, she didn't ask.
But now the woman stood at the edge of the building, gazing down at the street below.
Though it was early in the morning, traffic was already fairly heavy and there were numerous pedestrians walking the streets.
She looked up and saw the early morning sun rising above the buildings. She said her final goodbyes and uttered her final prayer.
"We're all a little sick." She said with a smile as twisted as her.
Then she jumped.
