You've never felt normal. Not since the day you started school. Of course, you were always told that it was all in your head and that you weren't any different from any of your friends. You tried to believe that, but as much as you tried, something was always just off to you. Maybe you saw the world in a different light. Finally, it happened. Something happened that you knew wasn't normal. Maybe you felt the sudden desire to howl at the moon, to drink blood, can cast magic, or something else. Maybe you see the dead.

Before you can discover what it is. You're sent away by you Guardian. The one's who were always supposed to be there for you. The one's who were supposed to protect you from harm, but that was when you were 'normal'. That's when everyone treated you like a normal kid. They drive you miles away from the only home you have ever known. You don't know what's happening. You're scared. Frightened. You just want to go home to your friends and family, but something is telling you those days are over.

Then you arrive. You don't know where you are, only in some run down neighbor hood surrounded by dense woods and fog. In the distance you see a building that kind of looks like an insane asylum and you also notice that it was getting closer. You look at your parent's begging for a explanation. At first they don't answer you, but their eyes are clouded so you ask again. At last one of them looks back at you, wiping the tear from their eye. "She'll help you get better" was their response.

Before you can ask who they are talking about. You see a sign blowing in the breeze, right above an open cast iron gate. It reads "Miss Marie's home for special children" the rest is faded off. You beg them to turn around the car. but they don't. You have no choice, but to get out of the car with them. Upon doing so you swear you see other teens looking out the windows, but it's only for a moment before they vanish. This has to be a nightmare you think to yourself, but know it's not.

They knock on the front door and you wait in a painfully terrifying silence when finally an older lady comes to the door. She smiled kindly at you "Hello, I've heard so much about you" Did she know that you were coming? "I'm going to help you get better" she said, picking up your bag. You continue to stare at the lady, taking in her features. She had short, silvery hair, obviously changed with age. The wrinkles on her skin and face and her blue eyes. Nothing strikes you as odd so you decide to follow her. Maybe she'll sort this out and you can go home soon. 

Eventually, your parents have to leave. They'll visit soon. You are left alone in your new room to get unpacked. That's when you find a note 'All isn't what it seems it be' But that's all it says.

This role play is about having special abilities because you have to bloodline of a mythical creature or someone with a special ability. This is where those kids are sent. To better learn how to deal with those abilities. Whether you're a witch, werewolf, vampire, necromancer,  or anything else. This is where you are taken. Outside the reaches of society. In a place surrounded by mystery what will you do?
