Shoulder length dark emerald hair, dark enough that in a dimly lit atmosphere one would think it was black or a dark shade of brown. Only in brighter atmospheres would one be able to tell that the dark hue is green rather than brown. It's subtle and doesn't scream out to you, and that's the way she likes it.

Emerald eyes to match her emerald hair, they shine like emerald in the light and shine even brighter in the darkness. For nothing can dim the fire that burns within her.

𝐏𝐄𝐑𝐒𝐎𝐍𝐀𝐋𝐈𝐓𝐘: Don't tell her that she can't do something, for she will still go and do it, not to prove you wrong but because she wants to do it. If you tell her to do something that she was already going to do, she'll no longer want to do it. What's the fun in cleaning up your room if someone tells you to do it even though you were going to do it anyways? I was going to do it for myself, but now I have to do it because you asked me to. You tell her to stay away, she'll go in. You tell her she can't do this one thing because of this, she'll do it anyways and prove that she can even though you said she can't.

She does what she wants, when she wants. She is not really the teamwork kind of girl. She'll work with others if it is the absolute last resort option, but she usually prefers to be a lone wolf.

Besides, if she were to get caught doing something not so good she would prefer to be the only one getting in trouble for it. She would feel terrible if someone else got in trouble for something she did. -- She's not completely heartless -- she just wants to make you think that she is.

She's not gullible nor is she superstitious, but she does believe highly in the paranormal and witchy type things. If your mother breaks her back after you step on a crack, it's not because of that old step on a crack and break your mother's back superstition. No, no, no. It's because she was being possessed by a demon that finally wished to break free from her body. Definitely more believable.

Xerina is stubborn and will never admit anything to you if she doesn't deem you worthy of knowing. She also always shows up late, but if you ask her to do something, she will get it done three times faster than you would expect her to do.

She is closed off and doesn't like to show that much emotion. If she cares for you, she will only show that caring side if you two are the only beings in a dark secluded room. If others are around, she will remain as cold as ice. She won't talk about her issues and she refuses to be the centre of attention. She puts on a fake demeanor and pretends everything is okay and perfect, even if it is most definitely not okay and completely far from being perfect.

In public, she controls her emotions well, hiding them and shoving them deep down within herself. But she's only human and when she's alone, in a secluded space (usually her room or special place) all her emotions flood out and she becomes a sobbing mess. Especially if she was on the verge of erupting in public.

𝐇𝐈𝐒𝐓𝐎𝐑𝐘:

Born into a middle class family, her father was a well respected business man and her mother was a technical specialist. They were to live a relatively happy life, but life had other plans. Her mother passed away during child birth and her father never really forgave her for that. Despite having no control over it what-so-ever, her father always seemed to hold a grudge over her for the death of her mother.

And because of this, Xerina grew to resent her father. He became closed off to her, and she began to act out. Doing anything to grab his attention, just so that he'd at least acknowledge her existence.

Was she upset or jealous that other kids at school had families that loved them? Heck yes. Did she begin to question life choices, definitely. But then she found comfort in the unknown and paranormal. She began to delve deeper and deeper into the creepy and terrifying, finding love in things that would normally make a grown man shiver in his boots. She would often use an Ouija board, seeking answers, hoping to make contact with her mother.

She would spend countless hours with the dark and demonic, soon believing that anything but was fake. She is often closed off to others and fails to trust them for anyone who had close relations with her either died or cut ties with her. And her only friends -- or that she could consider friends -- were the beings who answered her calls from the other end of the board. Sure she would be warned not to use items that could bring demons into the world of the living, warnings were plastered everywhere on the internet. But they only fueled her curiosity to know more.

Did this curiosity lead her into places she shouldn't be in? Definitely. No fence or area that told her not to enter couldn't keep her out. Don't do this, don't do that. . . well guess what she's doing Friday afternoon.

"But it's too dangerous!"  They warned.

"I could go for some danger right about now." She would respond, besides, there was no one waiting for her back home. . . so there would be no one left in the dark if she never returned.

𝐒𝐊𝐈𝐋𝐋𝐒:

Through her years of exploration, she learned to wield a butterfly knife. Although, she only uses it as a fidget spinner type thing. Besides, why use a normal conventional fidget spinner when you can use one that you can lose a finger to with one wrong move.

Knowledge of how to carve and skin various animals. . . normally used for rituals for summoning demons and the like. Because they're the only friends she'll accept.

She loves Chocolate and alcohol. She has never smoked anything, that's about the only illegal thing she has not yet done.

She wants a cat or at least some sort of pet to keep her company aside from the demons that stalk her in the night.

Prefers people to call her Salem if they are to call her by a nickname. Because of the Salem witch trials, which she took inspiration from for the name. If she could change her name, she would change it to Salem. But she doesn't want to go through all the legal paperwork to get it legally changed.
