Astra is a tall, lithe young woman standing at 5’10”, with an athletic build. She has dark silver hair that flows down to her waist in a thick, wild mane. Her eyes are a vibrant violet with faintly glowing flecks of white, resembling a starry night sky. Astra’s skin is a light tan, and she wears a skin-tight bodysuit designed for speed and flexibility, adorned with sleek plates of silver armor at vital points. Her boots have a subtle wing motif, symbolic of her semblance. She usually sports a calm, but sharp and calculating expression.

Astra wields a pair of deadly twin chain scythes, Nebula Fang. Each scythe has a sleek, black and silver finish with razor-sharp crescent blades. With a deep fascination for the stars, Astra often dreamed of escaping the rigid confines of Atlas and exploring the world, free from the shadow of her parents' legacy.

When she was 14, her parents went missing during a Grimm-hunting mission, presumed dead after a catastrophic failure of communications and defenses in a remote outpost. Rather than wallow in grief, Astra took this as a sign that she needed to become stronger. She enrolled in combat schools and eventually earned her place at Atlas Academy, excelling in both academics and combat training.

However, Astra grew disillusioned with the Atlas military's strict policies, especially their treatment of Faunus and the rigid societal hierarchy. She left Atlas shortly before graduating, feeling that their values no longer aligned with her own. She made her way to Vale, where she hoped to find purpose beyond just fighting Grimm—she wanted to fight for the future.

Now a student at Beacon Academy, Astra seeks not only to hone her skills but also to uncover the truth about her parents’ disappearance. Rumors of an experimental Grimm in the far north have surfaced, and Astra is determined to discover if this is linked to their fate.

In ranged combat, Astra can switch to her sniper rifle for precision shots, or dual-wield her pistols to unleash Dust-infused volleys.
