Lukas returned the call and he agreed to come out. He was talking to Fabian. He was talking some sense into him and dragging him home.

It was crazy that he was talking about mating with a male werewolf. They weren't even people. They were animals. He was going. He stormed out of his office and to his car. The longer he drove the madder he got.

Oak called a meeting after talking to Lukas. He needed to inform his wolves of the visitor. Another hunter and this one was coming in angry. Oak knew that Uncle Lukas would be angry. Oak had more to talk to Polaris about too.

Fabian smiled as he looked in the mirror. He was now Polaris and he loved the name but mostly for the reason that Oak gave.

He officially checked out of the hotel and moved his bag into Oak's house. He was home. Oak cleared out a dresser and a closet in their room and that made Polaris smile at the memory. It was a sweet gesture. Oak was so good to him.

Oak walked in dressed in his usually classy attire and Polaris turned and drooled. "You look good."

Oak smiled. "You do too!" He pulled Polaris to him.

"I'm in a towel." Polaris glared at Oak.

"I know." He slid his hands up and down Polaris's body and moaned. He kissed him slowly. "I think you look great in this towel."

Polaris was ready for Oak. "Do we have time?"

Oak laughed. "If we hurry!" He was taking his cufflinks off and slid those in his pocket as he unfastened his vest and dress shirt. He pulled Polaris with him to their bed and Oak tossed the towel across the room. "From now on, just wear a towel. It's easier to get you naked!" He kissed his man and slowly made love to him.

Polaris was breathless under Oak. "Wow!" He tried to slow his breathing. "Oak, how do I explain this to my uncle?"

Oak rolled off and sighed. "I'm not sure. Maybe we can show him? How mad is he?"

Polaris sighed as he sat up. "Well, he cleared his schedule and took off without any notice, he's pissed. We had no idea what this was. Hunters, outsiders...Oak, we just thought you called your significant other, mate. We never realized that it was so complicated."

"There is so much more to it and I have no idea how to make him see it. I'm really nervous that he's coming. I will protect this pack, Oak. If I have to. I would die for them." Polaris shrugged. "We have to get dressed."

Oak smiled. "We do. Where are my pants?"

"Bathroom." Polaris smiled and leaned into Oak. "I took them off of you and tossed them to the floor. I love it when you're naked."

Oak relaxed. "Good things happen when we're naked." He rolled onto Polaris. "I don't want you to worry and this will work out. Let's go get married, officially." He pulled Polaris out of bed.

Polaris was frozen. "What?"

Oak nodded. "Sorry to break it like that but once we go tonight and I introduce you into the pack and they accept you. We are officially married. This is your induction into the pack. I wanted to be clear."

Polaris stared at his mate. "So, we will be married?"

"Yes. We will be united. We call it a union. Being mated is a union between two souls. You will be my husband and my equal. They will become your pack too. You feel that and I know you do. According to the wolves, we are married tonight." Oak watched Polaris. "Okay?"

Polaris just laughed. "Married? I never even thought about getting married. What do I have to do?"

"Show up. Look sexy. I will introduce you and you will greet them all with a handshake. They will get your scent and you're no longer a stranger." Oak watched for a reaction. "You will become part of them. They will never disrespect you because you are part of me. You will become their Beta. They will keep you safe, Polaris."

"I...there is a Beta?" Polaris was stunned. "What do they do?"

"Polaris, they are the Alpha's mate. When Dare becomes Alpha to his own pack, Origin will become his Beta. The Beta is the second in command. They will look to you for support, protection and answers. They will trust you. They will share your feelings and vice versa, just as they share mine. They know you're my mate already. They are just waiting for us to make it final. You'll meet everyone and they are excited." Oak smiled. "You are perfect, Lover."

Polaris melted. "Okay. What do I wear?"

"That towel would be fine." Oak laughed. "You can borrow any of my suits if you want but your gear is fine. We are shopping too. Origin and Dare love to shop, we can go with them."

"Making plans?"

"I am. So, how do hunters do this stuff?" Oak was curious as he searched for his clothes that were scattered. "You know, getting married. How does it work?" He slid his pants on.

"Well, nothing like this. We date and talk to get familiar with them. We get to know each other. Sometimes it takes a few tries to find the right person or just someone we can tolerate. We date, uh, go to dinner or a movie. Talk and compare lives. Get to know each other and if we date long enough, the feelings can grow into love. The man asks the woman to marry him. He gets on one knee and asks as he puts the ring on her finger. She says yes, hopefully. They plan a wedding. It's a ceremony..."

"I know what a wedding is, Lover." Oak smiled. "I know some things. Humans have that too. So, you are like humans in that way. Interesting. Let's get dressed." He walked into the closet and pulled a suit out for Polaris. "You would look sexy in this."

Polaris smiled. "Okay." He put the four piece suit on and stared at Oak in his four piece suit. "Sexy!"

Oak smiled. "Very. We will come back here and I am making passionate love to you, Husband. How does that sound?"

Polaris smiled. "Husband sounds good, actually!"

Oak chuckled. "I meant the love making part!"

Polaris laughed. "Sounds perfect and I can't wait, Husband." He stopped. "Oh, that does sound good!" He walked up to Oak and touched his face. "Husband. So, we are getting married or are we married?"

"We are mated. We are getting married. Once we get permission from the pack, we are married. No Ceremony." Oak closed his eyes as his mate touched his face. "Let's get going."

Polaris nodded and held Oak's hand as they left the house. Oak drove their Jeep to the field.

Origin and Dare walked up. "You two look fantastic!" Dare smiled. "Are you nervous, Fabian?"

Polaris nodded.

"I was too. It's fine and I will stand beside you too. Okay? Origin and I will be right beside you." Dare smiled and felt Fabian relax.

"Dare, thanks for the support. Let's get this started. I see everyone is here." Oak smiled at the crowd. "Good evening and I'm grateful for your support. I know you all know Fabian Delgado, The Hunter and he's my mate. I wanted to introduce him properly. He is now Polaris Fabian Sandoval." He waited.

Dare smiled. "Come on." He took Polaris's arm and led him into the pack. People shook hands and greeted him as Polaris. They smiled and hugged him. They caught his scent. "I love Polaris. It's a good name, Beta. Did Oak explain that?"

Polaris nodded. "He did. I don't want to step on anyone's position here!" He was nervous.

A pretty female wolf and her mate were all smiles. He was human and Polaris was curious but he was letting it go. "Sir, you're not. You are our Beta. We have been without one for so long. We are more complete with you here and you are so brave." She hugged him and her mate followed. They smelled him as they hugged him and the woman smelled the man as they let Polaris go.

"They are getting your scent. This is a custom." Dare started. "Are you okay?"

Polaris laughed. "Yes. I think so. This is all so strange for me but Oak explained things. This is my family. It's weird that I can feel it too."

"Good." Origin smiled as he walked up and hugged Polaris. "Polaris, Sir. Congratulations. It's a good name!"

"Oak gave it to me. It's going to take some time to get used to." Polaris smiled.

Origin shook his head. "Not as long as you think. I was seven when I changed my name and was accepted here. It was easy. I never thought of myself as Alexander ever again. I am Origin. He is Dare and you are Polaris." Dare walked up.

Polaris had to ask. "You changed your name also?"

Dare nodded. "I did. I was Oleander. I am Dare. Vibe, Cedar and Origin were discussing my name change. Origin named me." He shrugged. "That's how it works."

"Okay. I wanted to ask you both... my uncle is coming and I want you both there. Dare, I understand that you are training to become an Alpha and this could be good for you." Polaris sighed. "I don't know what happened!"

Dare smiled. "You're my Beta and you're looking out for me. It's instinctual, Polaris."

Polaris sighed. "I... it's crazy! I meant that and I have to let Oak know too. I will give you more information on that, Dare."

Dare smiled. "You will be great, Polaris, Sir."

Oak was glanced over, he was talking to River, Vibe and Storm, his guards.

Origin nodded. "I have some people that wanted to talk to you." He pulled Polaris to a small group of people. "Everyone, this is Polaris, our Beta."

"Polaris. Sir." A man hugged him and others followed. Polaris just hugged everyone. A shorter man hugged him and smiled. He had short brown hair and yellow eyes. "I'm Earth." He shook Polaris's hand.

Origin smiled. "Right. This is Earth." He pointed at the rest. "Chakra, Karma, Fountain and Wind, Elm and Aries are his siblings and Harmony, Breezeann, Petunia, Dawn, Aspen and Nirvana are Oak's children, some of his children."

Polaris froze. "Oh!" these were Oak's children.

Origin looked really comfortable talking and hugging this group of wolves. They also looked comfortable. "My mom is here somewhere."

"So, you guys think of Origin as your nephew?" Polaris had to ask.

Earth spoke as the group nodded. "We do. Indigo brought him here. He was starving and alone. He was so scared and just a small child. We all felt for him. We found him food and helped him hunt. He drank the blood and we took the meat. It worked until he could catch his own. He is one of ours. He's a good werewolf, for a vampire." He smiled at Origin.

"Thanks, Uncle." Origin smiled. "We know this is strange but they're just my family. I'm their family and they are mine. I will protect them too." Origin shrugged.

"Okay, so you all have children?" Polaris watched them nod. "So, Oak has children. He is... grandfather, what am I?"

Cedar walked up. "Grandpa." He smiled. "Oak is Grandfather and I would love to call you Grandpa."

Polaris stared at Cedar. "Shit! You and Origin would be..."

Origin smiled and put an arm around Polaris. "Grandchildren. We are your grandchildren, Grandpa."

Polaris just started laughing. "Sure, why not!" He wrapped his arm around Origin. "Grandson." He was only five years older than Dare.

Cedar smiled and hugged Polaris also. Oak walked over. "I see you are getting acquainted." He smiled at his siblings and his children. "Thanks for coming. I appreciate your support." Oak walked into the group and hugged them all.

Origin and Cedar released Polaris in time for Oak to wrap around him. He touched his face. "Are you okay?"

Polaris was a melted pile of hunter mush. "Uh, yes. I was getting this mess figured out."

Oak pulled Polaris in and inhaled his hair. He smiled as he kissed his mate. Polaris had his eyes closed but then he moaned and wrapped around Oak. Their bodies were cemented together.

Origin smiled. "He puts us to shame!" He leaned into Dare.

Dare wrapped his arms around Origin and sighed. "I know but he does it with class!" He buried his face in Origin's hair and inhaled very deeply. "We are practicing later, Husband."

Origin melted and nodded. "This is a good start."

Oak smiled and looked at Polaris. "You realize you are in the middle of a Werewolf pack and you're unarmed?"

Polaris froze and looked shocked. "I never realized that! Holy shit! What happened to me?" He was teasing and laughed.

Oak chuckled. "Where are your weapons?"

Polaris shrugged. "Uh, I have no idea!" He leaned in and kissed Oak softly. "Maybe they are in our room?"

"We should start looking there and never leave the room until we find them!" Oak smiled as Polaris kissed Oak.

"Sir, you better get home with that!" Dare smiled at the kissing couple.

Oak laughed into Polaris's mouth. "I know but I was hoping to run first! Whose in?"

The kids all nodded and Origin flashed his fangs. "Why are we even talking about it?" He was ready.

Dare was nervous. "Uh, right here?" Everyone was here. He didn't like being naked in front of people.

Oak smiled. "Wait until we all leave and then shift, Son. It's fine."

Dare smiled. "Thanks, Father but I have to get over it sometime." He took a deep breath and took off his shirt.

Origin wrapped around him. He kissed Dare. "No one cares that you're naked but me, Dare. No one else wants you." He kissed his man and unfastened his pants.

No one saw anything because they were busy changing. Oak was already naked and shifted. He was a giant white wolf with black tiger patterns running up his feet and ankles. He shook his wolf body.

Polaris stared. "Oh, wow! You are gorgeous!" He touched the white fur. "You are huge! I mean very tall!" He loved the feel of the muscles from his shoulder to his back. The white werewolf laid down and whined.

"Really?" He knew the werewolf wanted him to climb on. He did without much difficulty. He put his face into the fur and inhaled. This was his mate.

He looked up and saw a terrifying black werewolf. He was haunting. Polaris actually gasped. Origin was beside the black wolf. "That is Dare?"

Origin smiled. "I know! He's so scary and sexy!" He touched the black werewolf. "When I first saw him, I thought no one would dare challenge him. It's how I picked his name. I'm sure he haunted those vampires dreams at night. I wouldn't want this chasing me!"

The black wolf growled at Origin.

Origin laughed. "I stand corrected!" He flashed his fangs. "I don't think you can catch me, Wolf!" He growled at the giant scary-ass werewolf. "I dare you to try!" Origin laughed as he took off and the black wolf chased him. He was fast and gone. They heard Origin laugh from somewhere in the woods. Oak's werewolf chuckled.

Polaris laughed. "Wow! Don't let me piss Dare off! That was scary in a good mood. He would be terrifying if he was angry and I'm a hunter!"

The white werewolf nodded. He bent low as a warning. He was about to take off. He howled as Polaris held on.

"Ready!" Polaris confirmed and balled his hands into the white silky fur. "Don't hold back, Husband!" The Alpha took off and the rest of the pack followed. They ran and howled all night and Polaris enjoyed the night with his werewolf.

He hopped off of Oak as he stopped at a river to get a drink and smiled. "You know I can take care of myself!"

The white wolf growled and waited. He barked but not a dog kind of bark. It was rough and deep and Polaris took off as the white wolf took off behind him. Oak was impressed because Polaris was fast. He was a hunter and had skills. They laughed and ran long into the morning. They found Oak's clothes well after sunrise and walked to the car.
"Polaris, that was the most fun I have had in a long time!" Oak smiled. He was relaxed and had his jacket draped over his shoulder, his finger was hooked in it.

"Me too!" Polaris sighed.

"We still have to hunt for those weapons!" Oak growled. "After breakfast."

Polaris just laughed as he held his husband's hand.
