Fairyland.
Out on the bike path,
Not far from home,
Where the trees bend in arches
And the sky forms a dome.
Right next to the river,
All shrouded in trees,
Is a place quite well-known
To the birds and the bees.
For this is my entrance
To Fairyland
Quiet and shining and earthly.
It may not be Fairy Glen, Scotland
But it sure is good enough for me.
Not far from the mainland
Of my little city,
Is where the fairies come home,
Fluttering pretty.
For this is my entrance
To Fairyland
Happy and lively and green.
It may not be Fairy Glen, Scotland,
But it sure is good enough for me.
