Frank: i miss you

Gerard: I literally just closed the door

Gerard: hold on

Gerard's POV

I spin around and eagerly open to door, expecting to see Frank waiting at the steps, but instead I get practically attacked by him leaping onto me. He wraps his arms around my neck and stands on his tippy-toes to give me a quick kiss. I stumble back a bit, but quickly regain my balance, setting my hands on his waist and leaning in for another kiss. He giggles as I pull away and I shush him, afraid to wake Mikey.

Frank lowers himself down, pulling his arms down to my chest and resting them there.

"You're too tall," he complains. I laugh.

"Or maybe you're too short," I argue back. He tries to glare angrily, but his smile gives him away.

"Okay," he says, sighing, "I'd better go." I frown but nod, taking note of the time. He tries to step away, but I pull him back for one last kiss.

Once he reaches the car, I pull out my phone and text him: "I miss you"

I see his shadow toss his head back, laughing, and I swear I can almost hear it.
