Part 2:Yukino Yukinoshita

I don't own Oregairu or the characters.

Also a warning.

For those of you who are "fans" of Tsunderes, and therefore a "fan" of Yukino, don't read this because this is going to be harsh.

Okay. Here goes.

==============================

Yukino Yukinoshita.(Try saying that 5 times fast)

A girl born with a wealthy family. She has multiple talents and skills, has great intelligence, a father who owns construction and dieting companies, a mother who is the matriarch of said family, and an older sister with great talents that she envies and admires. But she has been bullied and treated with dislike from those who envy her for having all these things and it has made her unhappy about it all and wishes to change all of it.

....And that's it.

Come on people. How many girls, boys and adults are like this in the entire world? Let me chalk up the number toooooo...a lot.

Here is the real truth about Yukino Yukinoshita.

She is a girl who has been lived her life getting everything she has wanted. While it is true that she would and will work for all of it, it wouldn't have change anything. She would have had things her way anyway.

She is a smart, talented but highly naive and spoiled little girl.

Yes. She is SPOILED. Accept that.

She also has zero respect for anyone and only gives it to those she deems "worthy" of it because of the way she has lived.

She is against Hachiman not because of his cynicism and pessimism as she is use to that. Her family along with the Hayama's family are in a personal and political bussiness like relationship and she would have been surrounded with other people like that for years, so it is not that.

She is against Hachiman because he reminds her of her inner self.

He is negative to a fault, but he is honest about it to an extent. She envies him for it, because she can't be honest.

She wishes to be free. To be free of her family and the things they exposed her to. But she can't. Or rather, she will not.

Not because it's difficult to do(which it is), but because to do so would mean doing something that is not HER way.

Because it would mean she would have to let go of all of the things that she has gotten while being "close" to her family.

She would have to make REAL EFFORT to gain freedom that she wants, and the trials and trouble that she would go through would be more terrifying for her to deal with than dealing with the issues that she has with her family.

And here is the kicker of it all. She thinks that she has no freedom, but the truth is, she ALREADY has freedom.

And if not, a lot of free time. And if she did not, she should follow her own words, to "change herself".

Come to think of it, what does she do with her free time? Homework? Studying? Yes. She does that. I am not going to deny that. But other than that, nothing.

She does absolutely nothing.

And she has the gaul to mock Hachiman for being lazy.

Well, he is, but he just wants his peace and quiet.

Her on the other hand, she is "so good" at doing things, mostly on the first try, that she never bothers to continue practicing to remain great at them. Her severely poor stamina at Tennis Game, You know? Tennis? A sport that requires high amounts of physical strength and stamina to play? Yeah. She can't do that. Physical strength ain't her thing. I am shocked that she can even hold a pencil without getting tired.

Also, she is the one that insults him first with every chance she gets and ignores her own flaws.

The only friend she has is Yui, but that is only because Yui pushes herself on her which gives Yukino very little choice. Other than that, she is just a shallow bitch.

And please don't give that old "She was bullied and she suffered" excuse. Bullying and suffering goes a LOT deeper than that.

Was she wronged? Yes. Was messed with? Yes. Was it down right cruel and vile? No. Was it extreme? No. Did someone rip off any of her body parts? No. Did someone close to her die in front of her? No. Did she end up acting like those who treated her like crap and treats a few others like crap? Yes.

This is something you have to realize. She is not impressive, she is not special she is not a goddess, she isn't "Waifu Material"(None of the females in Oregairu are, otherwise, they would not be real girls. But, I will admit that they are a few good ones)

She is just another brat who has a rich family, has been coddled, sheltered, and praised for almost everything for far too long.

All she has that can cause stress in her life is a childish, manipulative bully for a sister who clearly is a lot more spoiled than her, a controlling Alpha Bitch of a mother, and a pansy Beta Bitch of a father(I'm not kidding. Read the Oregairu Wiki. It says that she is the one that makes most, if not all of the decisions. It may be clear, but it clearly shows a picture for to see who wears the pants in the family)

The bullying that she got, it was nothing more than her getting teased and pranked by stupid children by messing with her things.

As for her childhood friendship with Hayama, I honestly don't know what happened there, but to be honest, I don't care. The history between those two is too vague. And if she is still standing without a scratch, then it wasn't anything important for her to be angry and resentful towards him for years.

All she has is intense butt-hurt towards all the negative, non-life threatening things that happened to her.

I will admit though, while I hate the Hachiman x Yukino pairing because logically, two people that hate each other would never get along not get close, I kind of respect it because it is to show how WRONG Hachiman's Youth Romantic Comedy is.

But I am getting off track here.

To summarize, Yukino Yukinoshita is not twisted, rotten nor evil. Not even close. But, she is just spoiled, annoying, egotisical and rigid to a fault.
