My feet skidded on the wet flooring, slipping and sliding as I ran at full speed.

Oh no, oh no, oh no...

OH GOD NO!

I kept running-

I saw what she did.

She's evil.

She's not who she claims to be.

My friends were right behind me, almost running into me as I stopped.

I remember her running out of the room after he was murdered...

Ivor.

She killed him with asphyxiation.

I sat in the corner of the room, uselessly cruel to the man.

His eyes locked with mine, full of pain and fear.

And then he crumpled to the ground, falling to his death.

I heard her voice.

"YOU IDIOTS! LOOK WHAT YOU'VE DONE!" Screeched Veronica.

I paused outside the door, my breathing quiet as I could make it.

"What are we going to do, Aiden?" Asked Myah, sounding scared.

"I-I don't know..." I whispered, looking through the door.

Lukas was lying on the ground, dead.

Jesse, Olivia, Petra, and Axel looked scared, defenseless.

"We've got to help them."

I don't know what happened to Jesse and her friends.

All I know is that Lukas was dead-

Veronica wouldn't have transformed if he was still alive.

My friends were scared-

And so was I.

I never wanted Jesse and her friends to suffer ever again...

"How will we help them?" Asked Myah, playing with the covers on her bunk.

"We need the others."

"Veronica needs to be stopped."

The others who could make it were assembled before me, the dark room surrounding us.

The rest of us stayed behind to keep Veronica distracted, and I was currently trying to convince the people here that Jesse and her friends needed to be helped.

"I feel bad for killing them...." whimpered Cassie, tears in her eyes. "I feel like I should be doing something to make up for it."

I nodded, knowing the feeling of debt.

Jesse should have killed me on that island in the sky- but instead she showed me mercy.

She let me go, and I've felt like I've owed her something ever since.

"But...but won't we all die if we try to kill her?" Asked Myah.

"No. that's only if we run away and betray her. She said nothing about killing her."

I lied.

She wouldn't be that stupid-

The person killing her would definitely loose their life...

But we have to stop her.

Somehow.

"Was PAMA shut down?" I asked.

"Yes... Ivor completely tore open its circuit boards." Sighed Mevia. "I know Hadrian... he... *clears throat* but... he actually sided with Veronica. I could see it in him... he had gotten worse since we got here."

I felt tears gather in my eyes, remembering Lukas's fate.

"We need to stop Veronica before she can do anything else to Jesse and her friends." I growl, pulling out my stone sword.

"Agreed." Sighed Cassie.

...

"You actually believed that you could beat me?!" Snarled Veronica, her body in front of me.

I had drunk an invisibility potion, and was making my way to Veronica.

Jesse and her friends cowered in the corner, staring fearfully at Veronica.

"Well." She purred. "You were-"

I buried the blade in her back, causing her to scream.

She fell to the ground, writhing in pain.

Jesse stared at me.

Suddenly, I felt a terrible pain in my back.

Sharp and unbearable, I fell to the floor.

Aiden appeared out of nowhere, his sword in hand.

His lips formed to say something, but his eyes became dials red as he fell to the floor.

A gaping hole was in his back, in the same place where Veronica had been stabbed.

I ran to him, tears starting to gather in my eyes.

The other people that were with Veronica ran into the room, shocked.

I looked at Aiden, tears streaming down his face.

"Aiden..."

He forced a smile, his blood starting to soak my clothes.

"It's okay, Jesse. You guys are safe now."

"Aiden... I'm sorry- we'll take care of this... we'll take care of you..."

His olive-green eyes settled on mine, warmth inside them.

"Jesse. Veronica is dead. We won't hurt you..."

The others gathered around Aiden as well, tears in their eyes.

"Just because things were looking up, doesn't mean I deserve a happy ending." Croaked Aiden, pain in his eyes.

Tears drooled down my face, remembering how I hated Aiden.

His gaze turned vacant, his chest no longer rising.

I put my hands over my mouth, unable to stop crying.

I felt a hand on my shoulder.

Axel looked down at me, his chocolate brown eyes brimmed with tears as well.

"Aiden may have been a jerk..." sighed Axel. "But what he did was heroic. We'll always remember him."

I stood up, looking back at aiden's body.

Olivia hugged me, Axel hugging us.

Petra joined in, her grip tight.

Golden atmosphere surrounded me, glistening as far as the eye could see.

I felt like I was falling, falling forever...

Until I felt someone grab me.

I looked up, seeing Sorren.

He smiled, looking at me.

"You have done a very heroic thing." Said Sorren, pulling me up.

Ivor, Magnus, Ellagaard, and Gabriel were behind him, keeping us from falling.

They pulled me up, smiling.

"You can stay with us- if you want." Said Ellagaard, her eyes filled with warmth.

I looked at the old order, all of them smiling.

"Y-you want me to stay with you?" I ask, unable to comprehend it.

"Of course!" Boomed Ivor. "Otherwise, we wouldn't be asking it!"

I smirked.

I liked that guy.

"So?" Asked Magnus, sounding impatient. "What do you want to do?"

I felt tears gathering in my eyes.

"I'll...I'll stay."

"That's wonderful." Sighed Gabriel, sounding glad.

Sorren hugged me, as well as the others.

Tears fell down my face and I started sobbing, a smile plastered on my face.

"Thank you..." I whimpered, the Order members hugging me.

"You're welcome, Aiden." Said Sorren, smiling.
