"The Cracks Begin To  Surface"

In silent awe, Yeonjun walked around. Briefly stopped as memories of the eternal council, specifically Fox', was played out before him...

The first memory shown was a private conversation between Fox & Rabbit. "I am worried. I am severely worried..." Rabbit comforted his friend seeing as Fox looked absolutely worn out, "Worried about what ? Does it have to do with what you saw ?"

Fox sighed as he rubbed his temples in a stressed manner. "Yes. Yes it does. We all just came into our powers, Rabbit. A power like that can easily be manipulated with the worse of intentions." They were referring to the possession power Cat withholds. 

 "Do you honestly think he'd try to use his power in that way ? No one here would allow that, I'm sure." Fox rolled his eyes as he looked out the window he was next to. "Bear could contain Cat's power... If he truly wanted to. We are all powerful & we should make decisions for all magical kind. Why should we be selfish & just do as we want because we have the power to ?"

The memory shifted again. Now it was between Fox, Penguin, & Cat. "He used his power against you, Penguin ! Do you still think Cat has anything of value to offer to our council ?", Fox asked a bit annoyed that Penguin was being so passive about this. Using your ability to manipulate or get your friend to do as you wanted was wrong. Especially with the unspoken responsibility you should use your magic without ruining your relationships. 

"Cat did use his possession ability, but I don't think he was trying to harm me. Why should we all be able to test our abilities except him ?" Penguin had a massive point proven. The other council members could test & play around with their abilities freely. Given that their abilities aren't as direct in what it could do for a person. Possession is a magical ability they should be a bit wary of. 

Fox turns to Cat with an angry dark expression overcoming his face. "Do you have anything you'd like to say ? Huh, Cat ?" Cat' usual smirk was now gone & his expression was just as annoyed as Fox' own expression. "당신이 얼마나 위선적인지 알고 있나요? 당신은 왜 제가 당연히 그래야 한다고 생각하기 때문에 제가 벌을 받아야 하나요? 당신이 저보다 나은 것은 아니에요. 당신은 당신이 우리보다 더 낫다고 생각하나요?" (Do you have any idea of how hypocritical you are ? Why must I be punished because you feel that I should be ? It isn't like you are better than I am. Do you feel you are better than the rest of us ?) 

Cat was now trying to incite a fight knowing he'd be at an advantage because his ability would be more controlling than Fox'. Penguin pushed the two apart worried his friends would begin a real fight.

Then the memory shifted again. This however, only was a memory of Fox'. He was alone in the woods looking after some kits. His eyes matching the kits around him. He simply spoke aloud to them. Almost like a leader speaking to his subordinates. 

"우리는 스스로 준비해야 합니다. 의회는 그들의 판단을 신뢰할 수 없습니다. 우리의 임무는 우리가 예의주시하는 사람들의 비밀에 달려 있습니다. 여우처럼 우리는 교활합니다. 고양이와 그의 추종자들을 계속 주시하십시오... 명령이 시작됩니다." (We must prepare ourselves. The council can not be trusted in their judgements. Our mission relies on the secrets of those we watch closely. We, as foxes, are cunning. Keep your eyes on the cat and his followers... The order begins.)

Yeonjun came to & had a better understanding of what Fox had meant. Not that he needed to be more vigilant with watching his friends, but he especially needed to watch Taehyun. The order they all were asked to follow wasn't really about all of them. It was about Yeonjun, & him alone...

He left the den & made his way back slowly. His awareness of how much time has passed was nonexistent. Yeonjun thinks he's been gone a few minutes. He actually was gone for a little over an hour. He felt the same as he did a little while ago, but he has a different perspective after witnessing the memories of Fox alongside his views of the council. 

Yeonjun got to the dorm & was immediately rushed to as his new friends were worried. "Where have you been ?", Soobin asked him as they all brought him into the room. Yeonjun chuckled & assured his friends that he was fine & it doesn't matter where he'd been previously.

No one else thought much of Yeonjun' answer. They were just glad he was back & alright. He settled in & told the guys as little as he could make himself tell.

This was the beginning of a powerful friendship... but also the beginning of the end...
