Chase

Later on, everyone was patrolling in groups. The plan was if someone found any evidence of the thieves, they would set off a firework signalling the others.

Ellegaard walked with Axel, Soren and Lukas, lost in her thoughts. She had the opportunity to go on another adventure, and she wanted to take it, but something was missing.

Magnus.

He was missing.

She wished she could see him again. Just even one more time so she could apologise for it all... for all the bad things she had said.

"I wish I never met you!"

"Go away! Leave me alone!"

"You're an idiot!"

As she thought about it, her eyes began to mist. She had managed to hide it all for now, but she still felt miserable.

"Ellegaard? Ellegaard!" Lukas raised his voice, making her jump.

"Are you OK?" Axel asked anxiously.

"Y-yeah. I'm fine." Ellie sniffed.

"Is it... Magnus?" Soren sighed.

Ellie didn't reply. She was afraid she would start crying. Everyone drifted into an awkward silence afterwards.

Suddenly something on a roof caught Lukas's eye. One of the cloaked figures was standing on it. They jumped down onto another roof and began to run.

"Over there!" Lukas exclaimed and let off a firework. Then the group of four made after them.

"We saw your signal!" Olivia cried from a distance. Her group consisted of her, Ivor and Petra.

"Ivor! Give us a boost!" Ellegaard called. The Enchanter took out two splash potions. One of Swiftness, another of Leaping.

He threw it onto his old friends.

Soren and Ellegaard nodded at each other as the adrenaline coursed through them and everything slowed down. Then they took off at the speed of lightning, and jumping from object to object to get up high.

The person in the cloak saw them approaching fast from another rooftop that they had lept up to.

"Great. Not these idiots..." they muttered and ran themselves.

"You're not getting away this time..." Soren muttered.

But then the person disappeared.

"Bwah?!" Ellegaard gasped and skidded to a hault just before she went flying over the edge of the building.

Unfortunately Soren didn't stop.in time...

"Ellegaard watch out!" he cried as the two of the collided and went down the edge.

Only to land on slime blocks.

"What in the...?" Ellegaard rubbed her head. They had landed in a dark alley.

The stranger ran down the alley and opened a door, then went inside.

"Come on." Ellegaard nodded.
___

The two went inside the building. Inside was like your average pub. Soren and Ellegaard heard Gabriel and Ivor follow them inside.

"Took a while to find where you two went." Gabriel panted.

At a table sat the five people in cloaks.

"Did you lose them?" one of the males asked.

"I think. They were fast. Which was surprising. I didn't see the Rogue." the one Soren and Ellegaard were chasing shrugged. Just then her eyes drifted their direction.

"Never mind. Give me a minute." she got up and took out a sword. Everyone else in the building turned their attention as Soren drew a sword.

"End of the line." he nodded.

"I don't think so. Weren't there five of you? Where's the Rogue?" the person asked.

"None of your business." Ellegaard retorted.

"Fine. Let's dance, heroes." the woman gave a cry and charged towards Soren. He ran too, and their swords clashed.

"Get her, Soren!" Gabriel cheered.

Although the Architect wasn't as skilled a sword fighter as his friend, he held his own against his enemy.

She clashed her sword against his repeatedly, trying to get the upper hand. Soren saw her guard was down on one side and took the opportunity to strike her side. Her cloak tore and she gasped in pain, but she held on and attacked him back, only to be stopped by a defensive block.

"Why can't you just leave us alone? Let us have our adventures?" the woman growled.

"Give back what you took, and we'll let you go." Soren replied.

"Never!"

"So be it then."

They were locked in an intense sword duel, with both groups and the crowd spectating.

Then Gabriel laid his eyes on one of the woman's companions. He looked at the face, and saw a pair of big amber eyes staring back at him. They looked sad, as if they wished they could stop this. Gabriel couldn't help watching, and the person's gaze burned into him.

Suddenly Soren's opponent seized the chance to fling away his sword. He looked for an escape, but his back was against the wall. But then he had an idea...

Bang.

"Ow!" the person yelped in her feminine voice. She pulled off her cloak, revealing long red hair, blue eyes, a red jacket over a purple shirt and blue trousers. An empty silver casket pendant was around her neck, with no jewel in it. Something unidentifiable but definitely red-pink was on her back.

"You hit me in the head with a shovel?!" she spat.

"Eily. I knew it. What are you doing here?" Soren asked, the shovel still in his hand. The others took off their own cloaks, revealing the Order Of The Stone's rivals:

The Order Of The Diamond: Chuchu, Steven, Jacob, Fionn and Eily.

"You're smart. Figure it out. What do we always do? Treasure hunt!" she said spitefully. She began to walk away. Soren went after her as she stormed out into the alleyway. Gabriel saw the girl with the eyes walk away with her friends. She also had brunette hair, a white sleeveless top with a yellow thunderbolt, purple skirt, grey tights and she had some unusual features. She had the ears, tail and rosy cheeks of a female Pikachu. (My friend begged me, OK?)

In the alleyway, Soren and Eily began to argue.

"Give it back, now." Soren demanded.

"Finders keepers. Ever heard of it?" Eily spat.

"I perfectly well have heard of it, so by the same token my friends found it first!" Soren replied. He felt anger bubbling inside at the sight of his enemy.

"Why don't you and your Order go off and find someone else to bother?" Eily began to walk away from the argument.

"Walking away? That only shows you lost, Eily." Soren grinned.

Eily suddenly lost something. Her temper. She flew round and spread ginormous dawn-coloured dragon wings. Blue fire was at her hands.

"Try me." she threatened.

"I'm not scared of you." Soren raised an eyebrow.

"Of all the things you are, I'm surprised. Watch your back." Eily growled, everything about her hostile. She flapped her wings and took off before Soren could demand she give the map back.
