Another Adventure Begins... Sure...
"Alright. Lets see here..." Ivor rummaged through a chest.
"Why a lava house of all things? I can see so many flaws in safety, awkwardness, function-"
"Shut your mouth. Long live lava!" Ivor punched the air.
Ellegaard facepalmed. "When did we become such..."
"Dorks?" Gabriel chuckled. "We've always been dorks."
Ivor pulled out a few potions.
"So, what's exactly the plan here?" Soren blinked.
"Simple! We take these and some weapons, go to the Diamond crew and threaten them until they surrender and hand over the kids!" Gabriel handed them each a sword.
Everyone marvelled at the originality of this wonderous plan.
"Or we could look for clues..." Ellegaard gave him a look of "Really dude?"
"Fine..." Gabriel huffed.
"I... have another way..." Ivor stroked his beard.
"Is it stupid, reckless and probably gonna lead us on a bunch of spinoff adventures that'll probably mean nothing but we just do them anyway?" Soren folded his arms.
"No... that was what happened LAST time." Ivor scowled. "My plan is, we just simply think logically. Those kids wouldn't just run off. And remember, we were searching for Eily and her band of merry men earlier. Axel or Petra probably saw something, ran, and the others followed."
"So we can still threaten the Order of the Diamond? By the way, copyright claims to their name!" Gabriel stated.
"We can definitely question them. But we won't engage unless necessary." Ivor ended the plan.
"Sounds like the best we got... alright, lets go." Ellegaard swung her sword over her shoulder.
___
Fionn was the one to see the Order of the Stone casually walk up to their current camp.
His first reaction?
Grab a nearby invention, a nugget-shooter as he called it, and point them at them.
"Stop. This thing has iron nuggets and gunpowder. Able to pierce human skin like arrows, but a definite kill." he threatened.
"Not a definite kill. If it were to hit somewhere like the waist or arm, you could heal yourself." Ellegaard pointed out.
Fionn put the invention down with a sigh. Stupid engineer, always one-upping on him...
"We're not here for trouble. We just have questions..." Ivor put his hands up to show no problem.
"... I don't know. Normally whenever you get involved, it's to tell us off like small children. Just leave us alone!" Fionn considered just getting the nugget-shooter and banging it at them right there and then.
"We promise we mean no harm. Where's everyone else?"
"Eily's out with Chuchu, Jacob's nearby and Steven's here."
"Can we wait until everyone is back?" Gabriel's curiosity about Chuchu hadn't faltered.
"Alright. But mind your manners. I don't tolerate any funny business." Fionn nodded. His green armour was lying nearby, but in truth he could take them all at once without it. Eily had wings and fire, he had skin that was stronger than titanium and bones even harder due to high calcium levels. He was the defensive player of the team.
"So... tell me how this works..." Ellegaard picked up his invention and took a look. "This must have taken a lot of delicate redstone work..."
"Not really. It's mostly ironcraft. I just used a pinch of redstone for power. When you pull the trigger, it shoots gunpowder-filled iron nuggets. I call them bullets."
"Doesn't a gun sound like a better, catchier name for it?" Ellegaard aimed it.
"A gun?"
Bang.
Ellegaard had shot a hole through a tree from a while away.
She whistled. "Faster than loading a bow, more power behind it, this thing is lethal..."
"That's the idea. I like weapon design." Fionn showed some blueprints for guns of different shapes and power.
"Well done." Ellegaard smiled for once at the inventor.
"Fionn, what did Eily tell you about shooting when she's gone? Because I never listen to her, I want in!" Steven's grin faded when he saw the guests. Then it appeared again.
"Target practice!"
"No, you idiot! They need help."
"And you're actually considering?!"
"I'm not. We're just waiting for the others to come back." Fionn contained a sigh.
"Alright... where are they anyway?"
"The girls, I have no idea. Jacob is setting up some more defenses.
"Hey gang!" Chuchu's high voice chirped.
Eily stopped dead. She made eye contact with Soren.
"What are they doing here and when are they leaving?" she spat.
"They need help with something..." Fionn shrugged. "Also, the gun works." he grinned, thinking about what he could do with it.
"Hand it to me and hopefully it'll be quick..." you couldn't tell if Eily was being sarcastic or not...
"No violence, no being a smart-ass, just hear us out..." Gabriel gently requested.
"Come on guys, what's the worst that could happen?" Chuchu shrugged.
"We need your help finding the New Order of the Stone." Ivor gave his best smile to them.
"What?! No, you never said we'd never need their help! You said ask them-" Soren got his mouth covered. Ivor glared like Shut up and deal with it.
"So, we have a deal?" Ellegaard held out her hand.
"Pfft, I don't know what you accidentally ate, but I am not getting stuck on the same side as you all." Eily shook her head.
"Well the feeling's mutual." Soren recieved a kick in the shin from Ivor.
"Besides, why should we help? All you ever did for us was bother us and leave us in your shadows. And continue to harass us whenever we tried doing anything!" Steven agreed.
"Well, if it's the New Order, maybe we should consider, as much as it puts a sour taste in my mouth." Fionn glanced at them.
"Yeah! The New Order are needed for the city! Besides, this could be our big moment! If we find them, we could finally earn our spot in the history books!" Chuchu got excited at the thought.
Eily thought about this. "Where's Jacob?"
"Here." the boy was standing behind her.
"Oh cool. No pun intended. Anything to say?" Eily offered.
"... OK. Lets go." he shrugged without any particular emotion.
"Fine. I can't argue with the team. For now, you're stuck with us. You can say you're sick of us at any time and drop us!" Eily grinned. "Which hopefully will be soon..."
