Wild vs captivity
Orcas, also called killer whales, have been in captivity since 1961 and there still in captivity today, that is very sad and surprising because they treated very badly in captivity. For example in the wild male orcas live to about 60 - 70 years old and female orcas live for about 80 - 100 years old. In captivity they live for about 20 - 30 years old and that's if they aren't killed first.
Small spaces cause fights, the orcas in the wild don't fight that often because they don't have artificial groups. All orcas have there different languages, that means when you put different orca groups together in the same tank they get frustrated and often give each other painful scrape marks. In the wild if and only if they fight they have a whole ocean to escape. This means captivity kills orcas.
Another thing that has a slight chance of happening is floppy dorsal fins. In the wild orcas have a 1% chance of getting a floppy dorsal fin in the wild, but almost all male orcas in captivity have a floppy dorsal fin. A floppy dorsal fin is a sign of an unhealthy orca. In captivity it's likely that it happens because of a bad diet and I want orcas to be free. This is so sad!
