The next day, the little children are wearing their backpacks, walking inside the schoolhouse.

Christy makes her way towards the schoolhouse with her backpack on her shoulder.

"Christy?" Klaus said.

Christy glances at her husband. "Klaus? What are you doing here?"

"We need to talk." Klaus said.

"Klaus? Can we talk afterwards? I have to teach at the schoolhouse." Christy told him as she walks inside the hallway.

"Christy, please?" Klaus said.

Christy stopped walking and turns around to look at her husband again.

"What is it, Klaus? What do you want to talk about?" Christy asked him.

"I'm sorry." Klaus apologized. "I'm sorry for everything. I miss you and I really would like for you to return back to New Orleans."

"How do I know you won't burn me again by keeping something from me?" Christy asked him.

"I won't, I swear it on our marriage, I won't." Klaus said to her.

"I don't know, Klaus. I don't know what you want anymore, maybe, you're confused or something." Christy said. "But I have to go."

And Christy walks away from him, leaving Klaus by himself.

MAIN ROOM

Later that day, after being requested by his father in-law, the Elder God, Ames.

Ames is sitting at the table with a platter of food.

"Ames?" Klaus said.

Ames looks at his son-in-law, Klaus. "Klaus? I need to speak with you."

"I assume that you want to talk about Christy." Klaus said, sitting at the table next to him.

"I know that you and Christiana are in a rough patch with each other." Ames said.

"It's my fault. I kept something from her and she found out about it much later. I should've told her, but I didn't." Klaus told Ames. "And I lost my wife and she left me because of it."

"Klaus? Christy doesn't like it much when someone hurts her or keeps something from her. I know with the Mikaelsons that secrets and being honest doesn't go well, but you're able to make amends." Ames said to Klaus.

"I don't know how to convince Christy." Klaus said. "I've lost her many times, either to near death or just to an argument to where she emotionally pushes me away from her. And now, she thinks that I'm gonna hurt again."

Ames and Klaus exchange looks at each other.

"Klaus? Be a better man to Christiana. Be a good husband to her. The love that you two share between the two of you, is a strong bond." Ames told him with a small smile. "Just don't lose hope."

Klaus and Ames gets up to their feet and shares a hug.

"How about your favorite beignet and red wine?" Ames asked.

Klaus small smiles at Ames. "Sure."

Klaus and Ames exchange small smiles and chuckles with each other as they walks away.

SCHOOLHOUSE

That afternoon, Christy is with a few boy and girl children, studying hieroglyphs symbols on tablets.

"Good afternoon." The Elder Goddess, Nadia greeted.

Christy looks at her mother and bows her head to her. "Mom?" And looks at the little children. "Can you excuse me for a little?"

"Yes, ma'am." The little children said in unison and walks away.

The little children bows their heads at Nadia, and she bows back at them.

Nadia and Christy exchange looks at each other.

"Christiana?" Nadia said to her daughter.

"Hi, Mom." Christy greeted her mother. "I assume that you and Dad knows about me and Klaus."

"We do." Nadia said, and slowly walks up to her daughter. "Christiana? I know you're hurt and upset about what Klaus had done, keeping Aurora in a crypt and not telling you about her."

"Of course, you know that." Christy said, knowing her parents are Elder God and Goddess.

"Klaus loves you. So much. Without you in his life, he has nothing but darkness. Make amends with him. He's in the main room, awaiting for you." Nadia said.

Nadia and Christy exchange small smiles at each other and Nadia walks away.

MAIN ROOM

Later that afternoon, Christy slowly walks inside the main room where Klaus and Ames are.

"I will take my leave." Ames said, and walks away.

Klaus and Christy exchange looks at each other.

"Klaus?" Christy said.

"I should've told you about finding Aurora and keeping her in Lafayette Cemetery, but I didn't. I kept it from you. And for that, I apologize." Klaus told her.

"I forgive you, Klaus." Christy told him. "Secrets tend to destroy relationships."

"But relationships can also be mended." Klaus said, slowly walks up to her. "You and I, we may have our quarrels, but we always find our way back to each other. And like I told Ames, I've lost you many times, but I can't stand the thought of loathing me. You're my wife, Chris, the mother of our daughters. And I'm gonna be a better man and a better husband."

Christy small smiles at him. "I love you too, Klaus."

Klaus and Christy exchange small smiles at each other. He gently takes her left hand and gently slides back on her engagement ring and wedding ring on her left hand ring finger.

Klaus and Christy exchange small smiles at each other and they share a passionate kiss.

"Cute outfit by the way." Klaus complimented her sleeveless blouse and skirt with a small smile.

"Thanks." Christy thanked him with a small smile.

Klaus gently leans his forehead on hers. And Christy gently cups his face with her hands.

MIKAELSON COMPOUND

That evening, in the courtyard, Klaus and Christy are sitting on the sofa with their small drinking glasses of bourbon.

"Were you mean to Ivy?" Christy asked Klaus.

"No." Klaus replied. "But she noticed the tension between you and me."

"Marcel noticed the tension between us too." Christy said.

"Thank you again." Klaus thanked her with a small smile. "You rescued my mind from Marcalos."

"You're welcome." Christy said.

"How did you know?" Klaus asked.

"Elijah phone called me and told me." Christy told him.

"And by the way, Marcalos can shape-shifts into anyone?" Klaus said.

"Yeah, he can if he chooses to." Christy said.

Klaus gently holds Christy's hand in his hand. "I'm happy that you and I are back together again."

"Me too, Klaus." Christy said.

Klaus and Christy exchange small smiles at each other.
