Millie.
What a bitch. She just walked away, sans goodbye. That's a bitch move. One might even say it's Karen behavior. I watched her walk- no, strut away from me. Finn told me she was a ballerina but she could be a model. Her walk was perfect and her silky red hair bounced with every step. She was without a doubt the hottest girl at the party. Still a bitch, though.

"That was weird," Wyatt spoke at my side.

"What can you tell me about her?" I asked him, as a photographer he should know something other than her job.

"Nothing," Fuck. He paused. "You should ask Jack. He's her only friend."

"Who the hell is this Jack dude? All I know is this is his house." I rolled my eyes. As if I'd keep up with the rich snobs who do nothing but shop all day while I train my ass off.

"I'm pretty sure your cousin is friends with him." Wyatt shrugged. My hour was almost up. Where the hell is Jaeden?

Millie: yo wtf are you

Jaeden: . . .

Jaeden:

Millie: ??????? Bitch where's Jack then

Jaeden: home theater with the potheads

Millie: where are you?

Jaeden: don't worry about it

Millie: hello? This isn't csi fucjing tell me

Jaeden:  . . .

I watched as the typing bubbles disappeared. What the fuck is his problem? He's always so cryptic. "Where's the home theater?" I asked Wyatt, Finn suddenly popping up behind him.

"I'll show you." Wyatt nodded for me to follow. Finn shimmying behind me.

"I wanna come, I heard there's weed in there." Finn smirked.

"I can't smoke," I scoffed, I get drug tested for work. "I'm looking for Jack."

"Jack. Why do you want to find that asshole?" Finn asked.

"He's friends with Sadie. And even though she's kind of rude, I want take her out." I liked a challenge.

"You know she has a boyfriend right?" Finn crossed his arms at me. I ignored him. Wyatt led us down a long hallway to the theater until I finally was able to smell the smoke through thick double doors.

"Viola," Wyatt gestures towards the door unenthusiastically. "Now let me dance," Wyatt walked away looking annoyed.

Finn pushed through the doors and I followed. The room was fogged up with weed smoke and I immediately became worried of contact high. But she was worth it, somehow.

"Which one is Jack?" I asked.

"Probably the one in the corner with all bitches feeding him potato chips." Finn pointed at a small dude with 5 girls sitting around him petting him and feeding him as he took bong rips.

"Jack," I almost shouted. He and the 5 girls practically snapped their necks to look at me. Weird. "My name's Millie. Cool house, great chat. What's the deal with your hot friend?" I cut to the chase.

"Hot friend," Jack thought for what felt like ten minutes. "Im the hottest person I know. I don't have a hot friend. Bye."

"Sadie." I snapped. I had twenty minutes before I was obligated to go home and train for my match and i didn't want to waste it talking to him.

"She's not gay, what's it to you?" Jack slurred.

"You're pathetic," I shook my head at him, I'll find out myself. I walked out, expecting Finn to follow.

"Finn, come on," I grit my teeth.

"You're getting pissed off and throwing a tantrum because a girl won't like you. I'm staying, I've had a long ass week and I need to get high. I'll see you in an hour." Finn shrugged me off.

"An hour? Dude, I need to be home in twenty." I yelled.

"Take an Uber, not everything is about you, Millie." Finn shrugged, accepting the bong from Jack and taking a hit.

"Fuck you, pothead." I scoffed, walking out. Finn was my best friend but he has no right to say I'm throwing a tantrum. He's wrong. Right?
