I was shocked at least, why would there be a rebellion. The Second Commander was shocked as well, "Well, Alpha, you have the warriors by your side." He stood tall giving a salute and ran off.

I watched him run off before I can say anything. Xenia was staring right at me, glaring more like it. "Next time you do goo-goo eyes at someone make sure I am not there understood! Not even at a serious matter!" She scolded.

I looked down feeling ashamed that I did that, but then again why would she be so against it. She lifted her chin up but before she had a chance to walk away I asked her a question, "A rebellion but who?" I asked, even though it's stupid.

She sighed looking to the side down to her wrist, "I don't know." She went back into the house, mumbling once more, "I don't know."

Going back in the house, I followed back to the house. It was all so ever silent, Zee was texting making calls. Xenia was as well, she was making calls, it was all chatter. I looked all around to see my mom being waved off by the two. She comes up to me handing me a drink. She is making a lot of drinks and food lately, but I took a sip. "Did something happen?"

I just nod, "Yeah, there is going to be a rebellion." I told her almost in a hushed, she took a sip of her own drink, she didn't seem to be worried but knowing her she is. She is always get worried if something happens to the people in the pack.

"I need you to make sure the underground is cleared and restock. There might be another war, maybe two." Xenia said almost made me drop my drink.

"A war!" I exclaimed almost loudly.

Zee and Xenia turned towards me with their stern looks then unison said, "I'll call you back" to they told to their phone, as Zee were about to walk to me but Xenia put her hand up.

"Tally, there is nothing to worry about. I promised you we will work on the two." She walks towards me pulling me to her chest and sighing. "Trust me, can you promised me that whatever I say you'll do." She smiles down at me as she pulls away, she stared at me a small wiping away a rouge tear, I was shocked. "Nothing to cry about." She smiled, then hugged to my mother whispering something into her ear as well, her mother nodded her head. Understanding what needs to be done. She was trying to calm us both individually. I walked to the couches and just sat down, so did my mother. Xenia sighed, then Zee just stood up straight to see Xenia stand next to him. She nods her head towards one of the chairs to the living room, she stood there having her hands behind her back.

"What is going on Xenia?" I asked looking hurt as well misinformed, but she looks down sadly.

"A war may be coming, we don't know when, but we are trying to prevent it as much as we can. Right now it's all just empty threats but lately, it's been getting worse, we have been receiving pictures of people in our pack, our family, as well friends." She tightens her fist, "they are in the pack I am thinking they are with the rebellion." She told us. "You two are the first to know, I promised you are getting into it, the public does not even know." She told us, looking down, not wanting to face us.

"Why are they attacking..." My mother was about to ask.

Xenia interrupted her, "Because we are the pack that your ex-pack hates remember?" She looked at her sternly, "For years that pack is always making threats always telling us there would be a so call 'war' but lately it seems possible to have one." She looked at us then she sighed, "It's unpredictable."

My mother just looked at her almost wishing this is all a lie, but looking at Xenia this is all true. "So you're saying your not informing the pact!" My mother almost yelled at her, Alpha just looked down sadly; she sighed shaking her head disagreeing with her.

"I am having the meeting tomorrow, I am not keeping it from the public," She defended herself, "The meeting will determine that though," She whispered.

My mother stood up, "So if they say 'don't do it' you won't!" She questioned her.

Xenia walked over to her, "I have to, I can only do so much." She told her Zee shook his head. She backed away, "I am not a reckless Alpha to let you know, I will do what in my power to help my family." She told her, "This hurts me more then it does to you."

She sat back down, "So what do we do?" My mother asked curiously.

Xenia smiled, "Lock the doors, and always keep curtains closed until we catch the stalker of the pack," She thought for a while, "Maybe it could be a pact member." She thought out loud. She then turned to Zee, "I need you to check all the criminal records in our pact and people who have left the pack for the past 2 to 3 years." She commanded. Zee just nods.

"I'll get right on it." He responded as he pulled out his phone and went out the door to the back.

"Tally, you should get to bed you and your mother." She told us, we both nod our heads as we went up the stairs. We didn't say much, but we did anyway. Heading up the stairs almost in silence. I didn't say much but just laying in bed. After some time, Xenia knocked and came in, I didn't say a word but instead, she walks over to my bed. She sat next to me, looking down, her face showed everything. "I am sorry I had to keep that for you."

I stood quiet, turning my side to her. "I guess I am not trusted huh?"

She shook her head, "You are wrong. It's just it's hard to say to someone who just came in and say 'Hey we are in danger! We are in a constant war'" She told me.

"Yeah, that would sound bad," I noted.

She nods her head, then she just sighed, "Please forgive me, but it was for your safety. The problem is I know that you won't listen to what I say." She told me and something inside me stirred. She was right, I would be there by her. She took a deep breath, almost like she was holding it all in. She breathed out and smiled getting up. She looked over at me and just said to me, "The thing is, I am more afraid of all of this than you are." She left.

Is she afraid? She is always strong, but she is always human but it makes sense that she is afraid she can't turn into a werewolf. She just can't so she can't protect her pack, her own family. She would have to be a watcher as the people fought for her. It must be horrible. I sighed as I turned to my side, falling asleep.

Waking up in the morning was a hassle. The morning felt so slow, I am pretty slow and my mind is just slow. I am trying to get out of bed, but it seems so hard. I looked out the window not wanting to be bothered by some old trick that played in my mind. Time felt so slow, making me dig deeper into the covers. I was waiting, but I didn't know what I was waiting for. Something important, something that I need near me. I heard a knock, they just walked in. I didn't care, I could tell the person just stayed near the door, unmoving. "Good morning." It was Zee, I turned over to him. He didn't look stiff but more like relaxed.

"Hello Zee," I replied.

He made a cough which sounded weird from him, "breakfast is ready, Xenia is cooking."

I flinched, I could tell Zee was hurt by it how his body slumped about it. He then just nods his head and walked out of the door. I sat up, rubbing my head feeling a sharp pain. I slowly got out of the bed and stumble downstairs. My mother wasn't down yet, I looked to my left to see Zee just sitting down on the stools. Xenia peeked over the corner to see, she smiled. I tug a smile but I could tell she noticed, she sighed shaking her head. She continued to work on the food that she has promised us, so I sat next to Zee. He kept his head down. She placed a dish in front of me, as she took a coffee mug from Zee.

"How did you sleep?" She asked.

I took a bite of her food, it tastes good. "I slept fine, I think I tossed and turn through the night," I answered honestly.

She shook her head, "No you didn't, well not much just more you snuggling into the blankets." She answered honestly. I looked up at her as she just smiled down at me.

"Were you watching me sleep through the night," I asked staring at her.

She stiffened, "Well, yeah. People can have threatened us and I need to make sure you were safe." She looked away shyly, almost a blush but she shook her head. I looked at Zee who just sorta just shifted the other side, not wanting to meet my own gaze.

"I find that weirdly inaccurate." I leaned forward to stare her down, but it was a bad idea her instincts kicked in.

She straightens her back, having her chin up to show her dominance in the situation. I backed down realizing my mistake. She sighed as she looked to the side, she didn't mean it. She looked at me as she kept her head down, just slightly. It was an apology, it nods my head almost saying it was okay. She continued to do the dished, it all became silent. I sighed as I did my own thing, well that is eating. I didn't look up to see Xenia taking glances at me, she wants me to speak but I am not going to. I am going to be as stubborn as she is. I got up as she stiffened at my sudden reaction. I walked over to the sink passing the Alpha, she just took a step back watching me carefully. I turned towards her after I put my dish in the clean sink. "Yes?" She asked in almost in a whisper.

"I am going out," I told her as I headed up the stairs to get dress. Behind me, I could hear her sigh cursing under her breath. I walked into my room getting ready to start the day, I didn't mind going to the hospital now. In fact, I quite enjoy it, I rushed down the stairs to see Xenia having her laptop on her lap. She looked up at me and smiled.

I ignored her, she made a small growl which was surprising. But when I looked back where she was she was heading out the door of the back. I think today would be a rough one, I have no reason to be mad. I will apologize later. I walked off having Zee out in the front texting on his phone, I wonder how can see through them. "Hello," I told him.

He just looked up at me with a tilt of his head, "Your playing a bad game, Tally." He told me. He was serious. I gulped as he walked over to me having another helmet in his hand, "Xenia deeply cares about you, that's why she kept it a secret. There is no reason to be mad at her." He explained.
