I gasped as I ran to the door banging onto the wood. "Let me out! Let me out! That bastard has my mother!" I cried desperately. Zee opened the door letting me out; I ran passed him towards my mother who was being held. When I did exit the house Xenia grabs me holding onto my arm. "Xenia he has my mother!" I cried out to her but she looked at me. Her face says it all. She knew now I was in danger. She pushed me behind my back as I looked around to see Zee nowhere in sight and when I looked down there was a belt with a gun. She made it clear and sound that she had a gun, and she isn't afraid to use it.

"Xenia, you cause my pack some nerves. Threatening me that I wasn't a good Alpha, they are saying that a woman is better than I am!" He laughed. I kept my eyes on my mother to see her almost in tears. She didn't want to be there. She didn't want to be held. I growled, but Xenia stood her ground. She looked around to see the other men shifting into their wolves. I shift as well into my brown wolf protecting my Alpha and for my mother. "Ah Tally, I never knew you had the guts to protect the curse Alpha." He noted, but Xenia lift her chin up almost in threatening move. She was silent only staring at him.

I growled at the other wolves but soon I heard a gunshot, not one but 4. She didn't use her gun, it must be Zee. The 4 wolves shifted into a human, holding onto their arms. She smiled, "I don't know about you, I don't want to start a war. I am too tired and I have my pact to take care of. So..." She raised her gun at him lifting her chin a little higher, "I will appreciate if you return my pack member at once. Or I'll shoot and we will have a fair fight." She growled at him.

He didn't move but instead smiled, that's when Xenia shot his shoulder. Some blood trickled down. "You!" He yelled almost trying to reach her but then she called out Zee, he came out in a rush. She hands him the gun pointing to the place where the other Alpha was.

"To a fair fight." She smiled as Zee shot her shoulder. I whined putting my head under her hand as she grabs her shoulder. She smiled at the Alpha. "You messed with the wrong Alpha.

Is she that confident that she would win in a human fight? She was always in that form though so she must be stronger. She took off her shirt to see a sports bra that was in different colors of blue. Wait, does she wear sports bras all the time? I shook my head at the thought when I also noticed her abs that are noticeable as well the muscle on her arms. When does she work out? Is there like a secret room or something? I was staring at her and I could feel her smirk as people made way for them both. The man took off his shirt to reveal as well muscle. The bullet wounds still poured a little bit of blood, but Xenia still raised her arms to her chest and positioned her, having her knees spread apart. I could tell by the pressure of the bandage around her torso, it was tight enough to see everything. I gulped.

The man laughed, thinking this was a joke but Xenia didn't move, she was looking at him. I wanted to protect her but this isn't my fight to play. I lowered my head, she's injured and yet she still wants to fight for us? I wanted to tear him apart but Zee came to me holding onto my neck. She gave a quick look at before she went back to the fight. The Alpha tossed punches but she isn't attacking, there were kicks but all she did was jump to the side. But then in a quick motion, he was punched, she swung with her bad arm. I could hear her hiss at the pain but she took the advantage by kicking him and throwing punches. Her face was focus and furious, I never saw anything like this. With one last round kick, he fell to the floor bleeding from the face. He was bruised. She jumped back; she was ready to go, not breaking a sweat as he huffed.

How is that possible? I could tell she was having a trouble of standing on her own two feet by her small tumbling. She looked straight ahead, I felt proud of her and I could tell because she was smiling. He got up spitting out blood. Then suddenly a woman came out, her blonde hair in curls rushing to the Alpha. She shifted standing in front of her own Alpha, must be mates. I was still in wolf form so I growled looking at her. This isn't her fight. Zee let me go noticing my eyes shifted to another threat of the fight. She looked at me as I seemed bigger than her, she growled at me showing her teeth. I could feel Xenia worriedness in the air I think many did so, the male Alpha charged her giving her a distraction.

He noticed that she cared for me, I growled at the Luna. I didn't care anymore. She backed away as I stepped forward keeping my head level with my back, a threatening stance. She lifts her head almost in dominance, this isn't her turf. I growled as I attacked, she clawed me with her heavy brown blonde fur. She was over me as we started our brawl. In the corner of my eyes, I could see Zee fighting two by two with the other dudes, this is an unfair fight. But I got bit in the leg and by instinct, I grab a hold onto her neck making her whimper in pain. I bit down almost making her go limp. She lifted her head up as she kicks her back legs. She submitted. I felt proud, but when I turned around to see Xenia so she can praise me I saw her and the male Alpha kneeling on the ground.

Her arms trembling, her breaths was heavy, she was bleeding from her torso and face. She tried to get up but she was already weak. I looked down to see the Luna trying to escape but I growled at her making her stay put. I turned around to see Xenia standing up again but this time almost falling. I growled lowering my head, almost ready to attack but the Luna growled. I looked at her showing how I was damn serious about challenging her mate. I looked at Zee to see he was standing having his arms folded. The other dudes were knocked out to the ground, it's probably because of the silver weakened them. The Alpha's brawled again but this time Xenia didn't hold back knocking the Alpha to the ground putting her foot on his chest. Another dominance technique, she looked down at him having her chin up.

Everyone was still, he looked away with a growl. She made a kick making the Luna cry. She shifted running to her mate and to Xenia. She held onto her leg trying to pry it off. "Please let go, you're hurting him." She begged. She was bare but it didn't bug Xenia one bit her eyes were on the target, the threat. I could see her lip twitch, she was trembling but she still stood strong. "Please! I beg of you!" The woman yelled.

Xenia looked at her and growled, the Luna put her head down in submission, but still stood strong. "What makes you think that I should let go of the Alpha? Do you know what he did?" She asked her having her chin upwards, another threat. She shook her head, she is almost in tears. Xenia gave her a smirk, "He threatened me as an Alpha, when two Alpha clash against each other, it's a threat to the territory and the pack. Almost a takeover." She spat at her. The male Alpha growled at her but she pressed harder, looking dead at him in the eyes. Giving him a final kick she let go having the Luna take him away almost in tears.

I looked at Xenia to see her fall, by instinct I let her fall onto me. Zee came running holding onto Xenia as I shifted back in bare. I looked to see Zee laying her gently on the ground, "We need to call the pack doctor, as well the guards. Make sure they get out." He yelled until I felt a hand on me.

When I looked behind to see who it was, it was my mother bending down to my mother as she grabs a hand of hers. Placing it near her head, almost a thank you, I whined looking down to the ground as my mother cried in tears. "Thank you, thank you so much." She cried into her palm. Xenia was passed out so she couldn't hear, I looked at my mother. "Thank you for helping my daughter and me, thank you for distracting the Alpha." She cried. Distraction? That's right she was fighting him, she fought for my mother and the land. The shot made it fair but also a warning. All this to protect. I held onto her as Zee nod at me. I held her as I could hear her breathing softly but she was also very pale. I buried my head in her neck as I cried.

I am such a baby, I was bleeding but I didn't care. My Alpha, my Xenia is hurt protecting me. I am in pain because she helped me. She helped protect all of us, in one to one battle. I cried I didn't care I didn't want to let go. I want to feel her warmth again; I want to see her smile. Her concern, I held on tightly as I heard a car come behind us. It was the private pack ambulance, a woman and man came out in white uniforms. They were running towards us, I have been pushed away. They re-did the stitched right there as one had a mask over her mouth, to keep her sleeping. I watched as they did what they can do right there. I held onto my mom as we both watched, I could feel her breath but it was calming to feel it and to hear her heart beating.

I relaxed even though I can't. I looked at her scars. She was on the stretcher being treated inside, she left the private hospital, I only been there for my mother. She looked at me sadly, "Xenia really means well Tally." She smiled down at me. "She comes to visit me every day, giving me an update on you. She knew I was worried for her, even during the night I would call her to come and she will. But of course you were all asleep when she left; she didn't want to wake you up." She explained looking at the white and blue strips ambulance leave in a rush.

I looked at my mother who was looking at the ambulance who was disappearing into the forest of the main town; I looked at Zee who was pacing back and forth in front of the house. I kissed my mother cheek as she smiled at me. I walked over to Zee putting a hand on him so he turned around to see me with a faint smile. I couldn't take him seriously with his helmet, "I'll spend time with Xenia if that makes you happy? I could see Zee breathing deeply, "Okay?"

He nods his head, "I'll take you, it would make me comfortable." He nods his head as he dashed inside. I walked over to my mom standing in front of her.

I smiled up at her, "Mom I have so many questions, so many thoughts. I can never really understand all of this." I told her looking at the garage to hear it open. "I cannot understand anything, like what does Xenia mean to me? I want to spend time with her. I want to be with her. I can't understand it, mommy." I cried like a child, I am still a child. I want to know but I don't know how to respond to it, I couldn't understand it.

She held me as she kissed my forehead, "You should tell Xenia how you feel, you mean a lot to her and yet you don't even know it. When I saw the fight she kept looking at you, with quick glances." She whispered with a smile. "You go with her. I'll keep Beta Zee some company when he gets back." Zee came out of the garage with a car. Now it's weird. I shook my head as I enter the car as my mother moved out of the way; entering the car as we headed to the hospital; where Xenia is at. Our Xenia.
