In the last chapter:

Why are you always running away, Hinata? Was it something I did? Tell me, what is it?

"I...I m-mean, y-you didn't make me–"

What is this feeling..? This pang on my heart? This...this is indigestion, right..?

"You didn't make me uncomfortable, N-Naruto-kun.."

Too late...

I let go of our hands, letting them drop to our sides. The warmth instantly disappears and soon silence engulfed us both.

The teens all headed back to the hotel, but the night was still young. Everyone noticed the change in Naruto and Hinata, which worried them, but no one dared point it out. But of course, no one was as worried as Neji had been (even though he wouldn't show it) so once everyone headed into their respective rooms, he cornered Naruto and asked with a not so pleasant tone, "what did you do to Hinata?"
  "I didn't do anything." Naruto replied, sounding tired and frustrated. This of course confused the Hyuga greatly. "It's pretty obvious to me now that she hates me." Naruto added, his voice grew louder and echoed in the empty halls. "It'd be better if I avoid her too, since that's what she probably wants."
  Neji mentally sighed. Everyone knew about Hinata's love for the blonde, just not the idiot himself. "Are you serious? You really think she hates you?" He asked with sarcasm laced in his voice.
  "Of course. And why would she like someone like me?"
  "I ask that question every day.." Neji mumbled. He was growing tired of Naruto's idiocy.
  "What?"
  "Can't you see how much she likes you? Or are you too much of an idiot?"
  Like a puzzle piece, everything clicked together in Naruto's mind.
  "W-wait you mean–"
  A loud crash interrupted Naruto and the two males looked over their shoulders.

It was Hinata.

With her cheeks flushed, lips in a straight line, and fear in her eyes, she ran away.
  "H-hinata!" Naruto called out, but the said female never once looked back. "What are you doing?" Neji asked, sounding frustrated. "Go after her you idiot. And while you're at it, confess too."
  Naruto nodded stiffly and ran after the Hyuga, leaving Neji alone with his regrets.
  Everyone agreed that Naruto would have to know one day, but no one planned for it to be today- let alone Neji to be the one who slipped up with his words.
  "Nice going, asshole." Someone congratulated, soft and quiet claps echoing in the halls.

"Tenten..."
