After everyone was sure Solgaleo wouldn't hurt anyone, he started acting like a guardian, just like Tapu Fini.
He would walk around and wish everyone a good day, and once in a while even let a child jump on his back.
Solgaleo missed Lunala though. He realized what he did wasn't logical, as he would be away from her at day time and would come back to the podium, just to see Lunala already leaving for her duty.
Solgaleo was quite impressed by the beautiful island. He came to the port of Poni, and saw a boat that looked suspiciously like a pokemon. Anyway, on the horizon he saw an island. He asked the person nearby what it was called, and that person answered; "It's called exeggutor island. Thats where you get the sunflute or the moonflute. Not quite sure what they do though.

Solgaleo headed back to the podium, but not before he wished everyone goodbye, and the blessing of Cresselia.
He came back, and as expected, Lunala was already flying off.
"Have a nice night, my lo--- uh I mean, friend!" She called out.
Did she just want to say "love"? Did she love Solgaleo?
