RS reaches home from her business trip. She meets Sarita Thakral, her cousin's wife and her daughter, Mahira Thakral who arrived early morning.

Sarita Thakral (ST): Hello Rina Di

RS: Hello, what a pleasant surprise Sarita, (Looks at Mahira Thakral MT) hi darling. How are you? And where is Anil?

ST: We are fine. He was busy with some work, he will see you later. But he is disappointed with you.

RS: What's the matter?

ST: We heard you are looking for a bride for Sid. How could you forget our Mau? Who else could be a better choice then Mahira?

RS: I am sorry but it's Sidharth's choice. I hardly find any time to do such work and after Inder's death, the work pressure has entirely shifted on to my shoulder.

ST: You know, Mau likes Sid since her childhood! She felt shattered when she heard that he is searching for a bride elsewhere. (Signals at MT)

MT starts fake sobbing.

RS: Hey Mau, please don't cry. He hasn't finalized any girl yet. Why don't you stay with us and be one among the other girls? Ultimately it's his choice though but you can try showing him your emotions. May be he could marry you.

ST: How nice of you Di. I have already got Mau's clothes and other necessity with her. I will leave her here. I will visit few times in between.

RS calls for the Butler, who is then asked to arrange for MT's stay in the palace. ST and MT both go to their room.

ST: Mau, this is your chance to lure him now and become an owner of this huge empire.

MT: Mom, he is too arrogant. Besides I am just 22 and he is 30. He is too old for me.

ST: Shut up. You know that your father's business isn't doing well so with this attitude of yours we will end up on road. So stop doing this nonsense drama. He is a playboy, you can lure him easily. Just keep your makeup on even when you sleep.

MT: Whatever!!

Shehnaaz is being informed by RS that MT will be one of the prospective bride who would stay in the palace and she is asked to pass on the message to Sid.

Shehnaaz goes to Sid's room, who is dressed up in formals.

Shehnaaz: Good Morning Sidharth

Sid: Hey Chashmish, I would be joining you to office from today. (Trying to put on his Tie)

Shehnaaz is shocked at this statement yet she manages to shrug off. She offers him help with the tie.

Shehnaaz: May I?

Sid: Yes please!

She goes close to him and unties it. Her soft lavender perfume and the closeness drives him crazy. Yet he keeps himself calm and controlled.

Shehnaaz: You still have 2 more days.

Sid: I know I get bored at palace since I can't go out to pub or anywhere as I don't have money. And as you said I need to buckle up to work on getting the company back in shape.

He observes that she is standing on her toes to reach him hence he gestures her that he would sit on the bed to make it easy for her. But little did he know that it would make it worst for him as in this position her cleavage is directly visible to his eyes.

Within a short glace, he saw the heart shaped redish mole on her left side of breast. He turns his face to the sides to control his harmones though he gets the urge of looking at her mole again.

Shehnaaz observes him turning his face away and a soft smile escapes her lips feeling good about his action. She quickly finishes tieing and moves back.

Shehnaaz: Done! Okay Sidharth, I'll take a cab now and see you at office.

Sid: Wait! Why cab? I am also going to the same office, so you can come in my car.

Shehnaaz thoughts - Is he the same person I met few days back? He is completely changed. I am surprised, he is hitting a boundary on every ball.

They get into his car and Shehnaaz has been staring at him still amazed by his behaviour.

Sid: What happened Chashmish, you've been glaring at me from a long time. I know I am too hard to resist but you are my employee remember? (Winks)

Shehnaaz: (quickly looks at the front) Ahh.. No.. Ah.. Yes, I forgot to mention that Ms. Mahira Thakral will be the guest and one of the prospective bride for you. She is already in palace.

Sid: What? Chashmish, That reminds me I have ticked 3 random girls out of the big list. They look super hot.

Shehnaaz thoughts - he is talking as if he is choosing someone to date. Oh God, help this kind soul.

Sid: (stops at a signal) You know, honestly I am scared of jumping into marriage like this. I don't know what I am doing is right or not. What do you say Chashmish?

Shehnaaz: What is it bothering you? Are you scared of commitment?

Sid: No, I am scared of committing to a wrong person. What if that person turns out to be another Mrs. Singhania?

Shehnaaz: You have 2 and half months to still decide your partner. So why do you have to worry. You will get a good bride.

Sid: You know, if I don't find anyone good enough in this time. I will marry you! (Starts driving again)

Shehnaaz: (mouth open up with shock) What??? You don't even know me properly.

Sid: I know you better than those who would arrive for me.

Shehnaaz: You can't be serious. (Twitching her hand)

Sid: I am not! (Laughs loud)

Shehnaaz finally breathes listening to his statement. Sidharth stops laughing and pulls his car to the side.

Sid: Hey wait! I think it's a good idea though. If I don't find anyone good then I think marrying you would be a good idea.

Shehnaaz: Ha ha! But you cant laugh at the same joke twice!

Sid: I am serious, chashmish!

Shehnaaz: No, you can't be!

Sid: I am! Well, I am not saying marrying as in real marrying. Like a contract marriage for a brief period you know. I shall pay you for that!

Shehnaaz: (Totally blown away yet annoyed) Sidharth, I believe in commitment and my belief is that marriage is a lifetime commitment.

Sid: Think about it Chashmish! I don't want to get married to anyone just like that. I need your support in getting the company back on track and anyway your job contract is also for a year and you work 24/7. So this wouldn't make much difference.

Shehnaaz: (smiles sarcastically) Thank you for the offer. But I'm not interested.

Sid: (smirks) Your wish!

Shehnaaz thoughts - His looks are enough to make any girl to crush over him. His strong arms can assure any girl that she will be the safest in it. And after spending this few days, I can say he is equally good from within. He is just seeking the pure love and affection which he has never received from his own parents. But marrying him is just not possible cause there cant be any match between his and my status. Besides, he is talking about contract marriage so a big no!

Sid's thought - Observing her from past few days, I feel she is exactly the person I described for a ideal partner. She doesn't run behind money else she would have agreed to marry me and as she said she works for her passion, her statement on commitment tells me that she believes in love, she knows what is wrong and what is right, she takes up a stand when she feels it's wrong and just don't agree to things to impress someone. But she is too pure and out of my reach to approach her for a marriage. Hence, I ask her for a contract marriage because I know she will never take undue advantage of my money and she will be a perfect guide to me in business and life. Unfortunately, she didn't agree! I am disappointed but I'm impressed by it too.
