Max's POV💙
We didn't really do anything else. Just talking about shit. Niel kept talking about science and Nikki sports. I just sat there and pretended that I was listening. "Max?" Nikki said. "Max!" Niel shouted in my ear. I covered the ear that he shouted in. "What the fuck Niel" Niel checked the time on his phone again. "My dad will be home in a bit. I got to go" Nikki nodded and looked back at me. "Me too! Well bye Max" Nikki and Niel were Neighbors so they usually walked home together. "Bye guys" I waved as they walked away. 'Probably should get home' Looking down at the ground as I walked home.

-One week later-

"Yeah whatever" I scoffed as Harrison and Nerris tried showing off majic tricks. "Well, goodbye Max" Harrison runs to Niel. I and Nerris can see Niels face turn red. I roll my eyes and Nerris waves to me and goes away towards Preston.  The doors had never looked so welcoming. 'Finally schools over' I wait for Preston in front of the doors as he talks to Nerris.

Prestons POV💛

"Well, you guys are dating" Nerris adds. "Yeah but... I know we are Nerris but what If he just doesn't. You know. Want to go that far." "It's not your having sex Preston" I ignore Nerris comment and continue rambling. "If he says no this could reck everything! Nerris, I don't want that so maybe I shouldn't ask him out and-" Harrison cuts into my rambling. "It's easy Preston. I just asked someone out right now" Harrison smirks. "Shut up Harrison" Nerris pushes Harrison away. "Well, I'm sorry If I'm excited about going on a date with Niel" I laugh and sigh. "Ok fine. I'll do it" Harrison looks at Nerris. "Hey, I'm the one who got him to ask him" Nerris sighs frustrated. "Shut up Harrison it was all-" They start fighting and I walk away and laugh.
I see Max waiting at the front doors of the school

'Act normal, act normal'

"Hey Max!" I  run up to Max and I can see him smile. I wrap my arms around him and I pull him into a quick hug. "Woah Calm down Preston" He says as he hugs back then exits the hug. "Why so excited?~" A blush creeps on my face. "God Max stop!" We both laugh and walk out of school. I just said it without procrastinating. "Do you wanna go out?" I asked Max as I rubbed the back of my neck. He shrugged as our fingers interlocked. "Yeah sure" 'How is this not a big deal?!' "When?" He asks and looks up at me. I look back down at him "Whenever your free!" My mind drifts off to what we could do. Finally I think of something. "Are you free at 8:30?" I ask him. "Yeah, where are we going?" He asks and I smile. "It's a surprise" He laughs quietly and puts his other hand in his pocket. "Bye Pres see ya" He kisses my cheek and walks to his front door. While smiling I walk around 8 houses down to get to my house. 'This is going to be perfect'

-Time Skip-

I walk to Max's door step and I carried flowers in my hands. Thankfully Max opened the door. I held out the flowers towards him and his face turned red. "What the fuck?" I laugh. "Come on" I turn around and hand the flowers to Max. He puts them on a table beside the door and walks outside. "So what we gunna do?" "It's a surprise remember?" Max sighs. "Yeah yeah whatever" A few minutes later we arrive on a hill with plenty of flowers and leaves. The sun was setting and It made the whole scene look beautiful. "Wow" Max's face lit up as he looked at the horizon. 'He looks so beautiful' I grabbed his hand and gestured him to sit down on the grass beside me. He sat down and smiled up at me. Then I start grabbing some flowers and I make a flower crown. "Competition?" I ask as I stop and look at Max. "Your on" We both laugh a bit as we make crowns for eachother. When we were finished I made a blue flower crown and Max made a yellow one. I placed the blue one on Max's head and he placed the yellow flower crown on my head. Our fingers inter locked one again and he looked up at me lovingly. 'I love him' I lowered myself down and kissed him. His lips fell into mine perfectly.

Niels POV🔬

"I know there somewhere here!" I shout to Nikki. Nikki comes up to me and puts her hand over my mouth. "M mm MMM" Nikki keeps her hand on my mouth and points with the other hand. We can see Max and Preston sitting side by side kissing. Nikki makes a face like she usually does before she laughs and I just stare.
