okay so honestly i was a little bit (a lot bit) confused abt this show for a longgg time. well not rly, because it hasn't been along for a long time. here's some context and a little timeline:

for maybe six months, this acc was practically inactive. i was stuck on 375 followers. people kept unfollowing me and then more would follow and it was just an endless loop that was so bad that i remember the exact number of followers. this happened because i didn't interact with anyone, just waited for people to interact w me (that's a little life lesson right there guys)

during those six months, i didn't rly receive any news from the outside world, and during those six months, i think hazbin hotel became popular? it definitely didn't exist (at least in my little world) before that, and i only heard of it recently. 

but anyways. all of a sudden it's the most popular show on wp--mainly bc wp is full of twelve-year-olds who are just discovering who they are, their sexualities, and hormones. i don't mean that like a bad thing. lowkey, i saw smut on here when i was twelve. it's normal. 

but now we're to my actual opinion on this show! so here it is:

it's weird. honestly, it's weird. i've only seen like half the first episode, so maybe i don't get to have a valid opinion on this, but honestly, i was freaked out. here's the things that threw me off:

-the characters swear so much. like oh my gosh? most normal people don't swear like that--excluding teens. this show is marketed towards teens, very very much, which is something i'll touch on later

-the casual mentions of porn and porn stars or whatever. the show is technically 18+ on prime video, so it kind of does make sense, but also no one talks like that ever. not irl, not in normal 18+ shows. 

-it's a show marked as 18+ yet marketed towards young teenagers. older teenagers wouldn't watch it, unless ironically--it's an animated show. it is meant for young teens who are trying to discover who they are and be a little bit rebellious.

-okay, on a totally different topic: it's a musical??? like they js started singing out of nowhere? i'm so confused guys help

to summarize that all: hazbin hotel is a 18+ tv show marketed towards young teens who are trying to figure out who they are and rebel just a little bit (in my opinion, of course)
