Jungkook, with minimal detail, filled Taehyung and Jimin in later that night on his relationship with Yoongi.

Although he didn't give much away as far as the mushy, gushy, juicy details that his friends tried to push for, he was so obviously enamored that it was hardly lost on Taehyung and Jimin that he was so incredibly happy and very much in love.

His blushing cheeks and shy grinning gave them more than enough information to tide them over until the two love-birds were ready to announce they were together to all of them.

After the conversation with Jungkook, the two kept their word, not saying or doing anything more to gather recon.

(Although, the case had been closed anyway.)

They also ceased their meddling with anything else within their friend group, specifically the Hoseok and Jin conspiracy.

It was one month– one long ass month– from the crashing of the lunch date that Yoongi and Jungkook sat their friends down and broke the news that they were a couple.

Everyone was happy for them and the two retired spies could finally let slip that they figured it out a while ago and that it's been so hard to hold the secret in.

(Yoongi and Jungkook were grateful for their discretion.

And if they enjoyed watching Jimin and Taehyung literally come undone at the seams when the couple would purposely be a little more forthcoming with their affection prior to announcing it to the group, the other two obviously dying to point it out to whoever was nearest them, no one had to know.)

To everyone's shock and awe, Jin and Hoseok ended up sitting them all down just days later with similar news.

Everyone was so incredibly happy for both couples, gushing over how cute they were together.

Jimin and Taehyung were in the middle of telling everyone they'd suspected Jin and Hoseok of hiding something when they were completely thrown for a loop and cut off mid story.

"What about you two? Anything you'd like to confess?"

Taehyung and Jimin both squawk, offended and confused, as they look from each other back over to Jin.

"What are you talking about?" Taehyung questions.

"Yeah! There's nothing going on with us besides working together, trying to figure out what was going on with all of you!" Jimin whines stubbornly.

The room goes quiet as all of their friends simply stare.

Jimin honestly doesn't know what they are talking about!

Taehyung is his best friend. His soulmate! They wouldn't ever-

"I think it's time we talk to you about Operation: Mintae."

Jimin winces and Taehyung gasps.

"Mintae? What a terrible name!"

Jimin's brows crash together as he turns to Taehyung swiftly.

"Really? That's what you're focused on right now? The fucking ship name?!"

"I mean, the whole thing is ridiculous, obviously," Taehyung turns to Jimin. "But honestly? That name cannot be ignored! The name is like, thee most important thing."

"The most important thing is telling them they're wrong about us being a ship in the first place, idiot!" Jimin scolds, smacking Taehyung on the arm.

As their bickering continues, their friends simply sit back, watching in amusement and fondness.

"They'll figure it out eventually," Jungkook says lowly, leaning his head against Yoongi's shoulder as he snuggled against his side.

"We did," he then sighs contently, still watching his friends bicker.

"Yes we did, bun," Yoongi smiles lovingly, placing a kiss on his boyfriend's head. "Yes we did."
