Dream?

How about... we run away... just like in the fairytales. Me and you. We can escape our duty here... no more of this... place...

I would love that... but... we were born for this nightmare...

I was always born to be the bad guy...

He woke up and moved a bit. His entire body ached. He sits up and tries to imagine his surroundings. The dream was nice... at least he could see. Maybe it wasn't just a dream though... a flashback? One he would have preferred not to see. Why couldn't he have dreamed about his family... safe... where was he?

Well it smelled like a hospital... a lab maybe?

"Oh your awake!"

Ah... that's a voice he recognized... sci. The so called smart sans. He turns in his direction, "hello..." he was vulnerable... should be careful with what he says, "me and my friend found you out on a walk. You were beaten pretty bad. Are you from a new AU?"

"No..." he says. Should he tell them who he was? Sci blinks, "huh I have never seen you around... well what's your name"

Nightmare sighs, "will you believe me if I tell you? Or better yet will you kill me?" Sci stops what he's doing and shudders, "uhm... I really would prefer not killing anyone... why wouldn't I believe you."

"Because I'm someone you've met before"

Sci searches his memory quickly but has no idea who this skeleton is. Did he forget?

Nightmare chuckles, "of course you wouldn't remember me looking like this... I'm nightmare..."

"Whatttt?! But your... no nightmare would have killed me by now!"

Nightmare frowns, "hey I wasn't that bad... I wasn't really in for it for the killing... just the whole make you miserable sort of thing..." sci shakes his head, "well if your him, how come your like this?"

Nightmare sighs, "because it hurts to go into my aggressive form... I would prefer to be in that form though... listen... I know your probably not gonna believe me but ink... killed my team... my family... left me for dead... I can't see now... if I really wanted to I would have attacked you already. Ink wants me and the rest of my family dead. I can't let that happen... so if you could help me find error and blue that would be great."

"Now why should I-"

"Woah woah woah. Shush sci! I think I believe him" outer enters the room, "he's right y'know. If he wanted to kill us he would have. Besides ink has been acting weird! I mean you saw him last meeting. What if we're trying to team up with the wrong side. What if nightmare is like how dream said he used to be"

Sci groans, "your right and I hate it. So you said your family... does that include dream...?"
"Yeah... dream got killed trying to protect us..."

Sci huffs a short breath out, "ok... outer... we try to help him recover and then we find blue... I trust what he'll say the most..."

Outer rolls his eyes, "let's just get this guy better and back to his family..."
