Nightmare walks into the house dream and ink following. Nightmare sighs, "error and pallete are upstairs... I'll get them... but... I don't know if they'll come down"

Ink sighs, "I don't blame them..."

Nightmare nods and slowly walks up the stairs. Dream looks down sadly, "so it was never really you... inky..." ink whimpers, "... I could never do that... life is to precious dream... I would fight them but I could never kill them... I could never kill you..."

Dream tears up and leans agains ink, "I'm really happy... you didn't abandon us..."

Ink wraps his arms around him, "never again... I'll never let this happen again....

Nightmare walks into the room where pallete and error are drawing together. Error was more watching though. Error and pallete turn to him with a smile. Nightmare sighs, "guys... I... they're back..."

"W-what?" Error blinks in confusion. "They're back... dream and ink..."

Pallete freezes up, "... what no... that's..." he tears up, "what if he takes me and mom again i-" error pulls him close to him in a calm manor, "mE and NigHtmare WouLdN't allOw it..."

Nightmare sighs, "that's the problem... this ink is entirely different... it's like the one we knew is back... I don't trust it at all but Dream does..."

"ANd if It's noT reAlly drEam¿"

"..." nightmare sighs, "it has to be... I feel it..."

The three slowly go down the stairs pallete not making eye contact with either of his parents the entire time. Error stared at ink the entire time with an unwavering expression. Ink could tell he was pissed. Ink nervously backs away. Dream whimpers, "pallete..." he didn't know how to explain this... not to anyone really, "oh dear creators help us..." he sighs, "nightmare... error... pallete..."

He pauses and breathes in a breath to try to calm himself, " the creators brought me and ink back... well I should say A creator... this is not really allowed... but... the ink we all saw before wasn't him... and entirely different entity... an empty thoughtless paradox of a being... we... I trust ink... I trust the creator... and ink wants to fix things..."

Pallete slowly looks up and dream with teary eyes, "... I never had a family... I just got one... what if this is all a trick to take me back... that place was my prison..."

Dream whimpers as tears fall down his face, "I know... I know... it was ours... but we can fix this..."

Error didn't say a word as his face became darker. Nightmare could feel his negativity radiating off of him. He could tell this wasn't going well. Nightmare sighs, "listen... dream... ink... we might need time... I don't know if we can do this... not right now... just..."

Pallete speaks up, "I don't think I can trust anything you guys say... not till I see it...I'm... I'll be upstairs..." he rushes back up the stairs. Error quickly following him without a word.

Nightmare sighs and grips onto himself. Dream wipes his tears away, "we understand... we'll be at inks actual place... nighty... I trust you..." Dream turns around taking inks hand as they both sadly walk out and away. Nightmare closes the door and slides down it in distress.

He couldn't understand...
