hello again!! That's right, I'm back! Miss me? Bet not! Here's part two of the sleepover. It'll probably be a three part section, since there's some pretty important stuff here. Enjoy!

When Tori opened the front door, the first thing Harper noticed was the large staircase. Everyone's things were sitting at the bottom of it, so she and Toryn placed their belongings there as well. As they walked up, Harper couldn't help but feel a pang of homesickness as she remembered her old house, with stairs that led to her room.

If Tori saw her sudden sadness, she didn't say anything. Instead, she walked down a hallway at the top of the stairs and came to a stop in front of one of the doors. She pushed it open, revealing Holiday, Bex, Emily, and Anaya sitting on the floor.

 "Took you long enough!" Bex laughed .

 "Hey, cut us some slack!" Tori replied with a grin, "Merindy isn't even here yet! "

"True."

" Who's Merindy? " Harper asked.

"Another person who lived in our old town." Tori explained, "You'll like her!"

Harper didn't say anything, but she nodded. The two of them joined the circle on the floor. "Soooo, what do you want to do?" Harper asked awkwardly.

" Well, we were starting a round of truth or dare. " Holiday exclaimed.

"You mind if I pass?" Tori asked, " Last time I played truth or dare I ended up having to kiss my cousin, " she shuddered.

"Jeesh, that sounds terrible!" Bex exclaimed , though she was still smiling.

"I guess you can sit out." Holiday replied, " And you can sit out too, if you'd like, Harper. "

Harper gave a grateful smile and nodded. She watched what everyone would ask, and their relationships with each other. Holiday, Anaya, and Tori seemed close, and Bex and Emily had the same relationship. They would great some like annoying siblings, and others like good friends. Tori spent much of the game reading, but she would look up once someone called her something weird, like "Tori-Maccaroni" or "Turtle Toryn". Apparently the weird names were the only things that could grab her attention.

After that game was finished, they moved onto Go Fish - which Harper crushed them at, mind you - and Garbage. While they were handing out cards, there was a light knock on the door. "Am I late?" A girl's voice came from the door.

Harper turned and saw a decently tall girl with blue green eyes and a black marines baseball cap. She had brown hair with dyed pink to purple strips pulled back in a ponytail, and she wore a loose metal choker necklace around her neck, along with a t-shirt and cargo pants.

"Merindy!" Holiday exclaimed , "You aren't late! You wouldn't have liked the games anyway!"

Merindy smiled and joined the circle. She pointed at Harper, " Who's this? "

"I'm Harper," Harper said quietly.

" Merindy. I've been called Marimba and Reindeer before though. Tori, however, prefers the name 'Sven '. "

"Hey, have you ever heard of any other talking reindeer? I didn't think so!" Tori exclaimed.

 Merindy shrugged and Harper failed to hide her grin. She couldn't really figure out how Tori knew "Sven", but however it was, there had to be some fun element involved.

"Well, since everyone's here, we can start with the other games!" Holiday said happily .

"There are more games?" Emily asked.

" Yes. To the living room! " 

Holiday led everyone down the stairs. Everything after that became a blur for Harper, as all the fun events merged together. Before she knew it, it was almost 1 a.m.

"Um, guys, I think we should go to sleep," Harper stated as she checked the clock in the wall.

"Man, it's already that late?" Holiday stated, pausing the movie they had been watching, "Well, there's only, like, 30 minutes left. Let's just finish up before we go to sleep."

Everyone but Anaya and Emily nodded. The two of them had fallen asleep a while before, which was why they had started watching the movie in the first place; it would keep the room at least semi quiet. Harper didn't blame them for sleeping, since she wanted to do exactly that. But, she also didn't want everyone to not like her, or something like that.

Still, no matter how much Harper wanted to stay awake, she felt her eyelids drooping. She was still tired from not sleeping the night before, and knew she should probably sleep. Even with that knowledge, though, she still found herself resisting sleep. It didn't work, and soon she drifted off into dreams.

The stars. The stars were way brighter than she remembered. It startled her, but soon the feeling went away.

It was also cold. She didn't remember ever feeling things here, but she was grateful for her cloak. She wrapped it around her as she floated. Each star seemed both familiar and distant as they sauntered by, and she found herself searching for once star in particular. 

When she found the star she was looking for, she realized the photo had changed. Curious, she grabbed the orb and let it take her away.

She was surprised to find herself inside her new, modern apartment. She walked down the hall towards her room, only to find herself drawn to a door she hadn't seen before. Quietly, she opened it and peeked inside. It was an office, and sitting at the desk was none other than her father.

it looked more like a lab than an office. Test tubes littered the shelves and counters. A weird paper with unreadable writing sat on his desk, and he had his head testing in his hands. He muttered something under his breath, but she couldn't hear it as she woke up.

Harper woke up and found all the girls staring at her, including the ones who had been sleeping. Will of them wore a worried look.

"Uh... What's with the scared expressions?" Harper asked.

They all exchanged looks before Holiday spoke up, "We'll tell you in the morning. Go back to sleep."

Harper nodded and laid down again, worried, but determined to figure out why they were freaking out. They had all seemed so nervous, but they didn't want her to know why. It can't be too bad, right? She thought, they're overreacting. I hope.
