Purity. Freedom from adulteration or contamination. One word with a huge meaning. But how can someone be identified as pure? Maybe by there traits or how they look. Maybe even the feeling you get when someone of 'purity' passes you.

Sometimes things aren't always what they seem.
Growing up in the Stark household would not be identified as 'pure'. But rather would be considered impure.

But no one from the outside world will ever know what went on in that household. For as it is hidden secrets buried within the seams and bones of the 4 siblings.

Dr.Bree Stark walks through the heaving halls of Edenbrook. Patient after Patient, Dr.Stark takes her time with each and everyone of them. Deep breathes and sturdy steps are all that could be heard from Dr.Stark as she walks through the hallways.

But something was wrong. Anyone who knows Dr.Bree Stark would notice. She was usually talkative and more joyful.

Dr.Ethan Ramsey knew something was wrong. When he would look to his girlfriend he could look in her eyes what she was feeling. One four letter word. Pain.

Ethan spent the whole day trying to figure out what was wrong with her.

Finally something clicked and he had an idea.

He quickly made his way to the nurses station

"Can you tell me where Dr.Daisy Stark is?"

"She's in her office" One of the nurses says

The mumbles a thank you before heading to Dr.Daisy Starks office.

Daisy sits behind her desk trying to distract herself from the meaning of today.

She looks up from her computer to see Ethan Ramsey walk through her door

"Can I help you Ethan?"

"Why is Bree so upset?"

Daisy freezes at the question, deep and hard breathes were heard from her.

"What Wrong?" He asked

Daisy looks to him

"Today is-..... Today is a very-.... Eventful day for Her"

Ethan looks to her with raised eyebrows

"It's better if you ask her"

Ethan nods and makes he's way to find Bree.

"Hey Bree" a voice from behind her says

She turns around to see it's Bryce and Sienna.

"Hey guys" She says putting on a fake smile.

But Bryce and Sienna saw right through it and Sienna frowned as Bree tried to make it more convincing.

"Bree, what's wrong?"

Bree gulped and looked down at the ground

"I don't want to talk about it" she said plainly, as if she didn't have the dying urge to crying her eyes out.

Sienna and Bryce look to her sadly. They look at each other and nod before hugging her.
She smiles sadly at her best friends.

"We don't have to talk about it, but tonight's karaoke remember?" Sienna says trying to lighten the mood as Bryce and Her pull away from Bree

"How could I forget?, it's not like I have someone reminding everyday."

Sienna laughs and Bryce smiles

"Guilty" Sienna says

Bree looks to them with an actual smile.

"Well we have to get back to work, but we'll see you tonight, also invite Dr.Ramsey" Sienna says

"Yes ma'am"

They smile at each other before they walk there separate ways.

As Bree walks through the now empty halls she find Ethan walking her way. He was look down at his clipboard and didn't notice her at first. At least not until she stopped him.

"Hi Dr.Ramsey" Ethan froze for a moment

He was confused, she sounded happy. His eyes met hers, is face showing all signs of confusion.

"What?" She asked

"Are you all right?"

She took a deep breathe before stepping closer to him. She looked up to him since he was a whole foot taller than her.

"I'll be Fine"

Ethan looks at her hard, clearly not convinced.

"I assure you Babe that I am fine"

Ethan backed down and nodded, he kissed the top of her head before there eyes met once more.

"Also Sienna wants you to come to Karaoke night"

Ethan stopped and stared at her

"Excuse me?"

"You heard me, if you don't come you can face the wraith of Sienna, but I won't get involved."

Ethan stopped and thought for a minute.

"Alright I'll be there, 6:30 I presume"

Bree nods her head

She kisses his check before walk down the opposite side

The friends gather around in the living as they await two more people.

"I swear, Aurora and Daisy are always late." Jackie says

Making the the rest of them chuckle.

The teams were simple Boy vs. Girl.

Ethan looked to Bree, when there's eyes meet, Ethan could she the taunting smirk she was giving him. Ethan shot one right back at her.

Bryce looked between the two

"I'm jealous"

Bree and Ethan look to him

"Me and Daisy don't have that type of language, she backs down. You need to talk to your sister Bree."

"What do you want me to do? Daisy has been one for challenging others."

Bryce looks to her

"Okay" He said before backing down

A few minutes later Daisy and Aurora walk through the door.

"Alright let's begin!"

Almost everyone had gone expect for Bryce, Daisy, Ethan and Bree.

The team were tied

Bryce gets up to the microphone

The music starts slowly and picks ups

As he sings the lyrics of the song Daisys heart skipped a beat.

Once he was finished Daisy got up and looked to her sister. Bree knowing what she was about to sing sent her a warning glance with a cold hard stare.

"Hey homecoming queen
Why do you lie
When somebody's mean?
Where do you hide?"

"Do people assume
You're always alright?
Been so good at smiling
Most of your life"

Ethan looks between the sisters. Then something clicked, she was singing about the meaning of this day.

"Look damn good in the dress
Zipping up the mess
Dancing with your best foot forward"

"Does it get hard
To have to play the part?
Nobody's feeling sorry for ya"

"But what if I told you the world wouldn't end
If you started showing what's under your skin
What if you let 'em all in on the lie?"

"Even the homecoming queen cries"

Bree breathes steadily and finds Ethans worried glance on her, she looks to him with sad eyes

Everyone else in the room seemed illiterate to what was happening.

"Hey homecoming queen
How's things at home?
Still walking on eggshells
When that curtain's closed"

"Did your daddy teach you
How to act tough?
Or more like your momma?
Sweep it under the rug"

Brees breathes got heavier and she struggled to hide the fact that something was wrong.

Sienna and Bryce looked over too her

Sienna quickly moved closer to her and hugged her

"Look damn good in the dress
Zipping up the mess
Dancing with your best foot forward"

"Did you want the crown
Or does it weigh you down
Nobody's feeling sorry for ya"

"What if I told you the world wouldn't end
If you started showing what's under your skin?
What if you let 'em all in on the lie?"

"Even the homecoming queen cries
Yeah, what if I told you the sky wouldn't fall?
If you lost your composure, said to hell with it all"

"Not everything pretty sparkles and shines
And even the homecoming queen cries"

"Oh yeah"

"Even the homecoming queen cries"

"Hey homecoming queen
Why do you lie?
When somebody's mean
Where do you hide?"

The other clap and Bree fakes a smile at her as she sits down next to her.

Ethan gets up and sends her a smile before starting to sing.

Later on that night when Ethan was getting ready to leave he pulled Bree aside.

"What really happened on this day"

"Today is Homecoming, the last time I saw my father." Bree says looking at the ground

Ethan moves closer to her and raises her head so that there looking each other in the eyes.

"What else happened"

Bree took a deep breath

"When I was little my dad was a alcoholic, and beside my brother Scott I was the oldest, just 5 minutes older than Daisy and well. Me and Scott were the one that had to deal with his wraith."

Ethan looked to see her watery eyes

"That's what the marks on my body are from"

Something in Ethan snapped. Bree could see the angry and hatred in his eyes

She quickly hugged him and he calmed down a little bit.

"If ever comes back I'll brake every bone in his body." Ethan says

Bree just holds on to him, Ethan can feel her tears as they run down his shirt.

"Hey- Hey"

Bree moves to where she can see Ethans eyes

"It's okay, he won't ever hurt you again not for as long as I live he won't touch you" He said wiping her tears

She smiles at him before they share a passionate and heated kiss.

"Come home with me tonight" Ethan whispers to her.

She nods

"Let me get some clothes" Ethan nods

"I'll be in the car"

She nods and walk into her apartment to grab what she needs.
