After 13 hours of labor & 2 hours of pushing, I delivered both babies 🥺 I am a bigger baby than these two babies & I DID IT 🙏🏼 A truly emotional experience getting to finally see our babies little faces & bodies. we created these tiny humans. ❤️⁠

I labored after starting pitocin at 4 cm & 90% effaced. I was almost 38 weeks, so doc said we gotta get them out before then. 13 hours later I'm being wheeled into the OR to start pushing. All twin vaginal deliveries happen in the OR incase of an emergency. We had the most incredible group of 5 nurses in there. 3 that helped & talked me through pushing & kept encouraging me & would pull my legs back with each contraction & 1 nurse to take care of each twin. Then of course my favorite nurse was right by side with so much love & positivity (Chris)🤍 Throughout the whole thing he made me feel like a rockstar mom 😘⁠

I pushed baby a out & it was Immediate tears from us & then .. my epidural started wearing off and I couldn't push. That was some insane contractions. Doc got me more medicine & as soon as I got that, we pushed him out! That's why it took almost an hour between these little loves to be born 😅 Everyone said pushing the second one out would be easier, but they must not of thought about Baby B's head being bigger 😆⁠

Now we're working on breastfeeding & how to conquer sleep deprivation 🙈 Any tips on how to not sleep, so you can do all the twin parent things, let us know 😄
