Chapter 13: The Truth Untold

Soobin's POV

It has been four months, since I've been discharged from the hospital.

And, I am super relieved that I was; discharge, because I heard that my condition was worst.

But, the person who saved me has the worse condition.

Because, the doctor, said that she had cancer.

After that talk, back then.

I tried asking the doctor about the person's, personal information, but then he only said, that there's a rule about patient, and doctor relationship.

After that, I then asked about her room number, so I can at least visit her and thank her.

But, he only said, that the person who saved me, already transferred hospitals.

And that's why I don't like doctors.

They have no heart.

I'm just asking about the person who saved me to thank her.

But, no, they won't even let me.

What kind of people are they?

Oh, I know.

None, thankful people.

That's what they are.

And I hate them for that.

Since, the doctor didn't say anything about the person.

I just eventually gave up, in search for her.

Right now, I'll be meeting Yeonjun hyung and Yeji noona.

They said, they have something to tell me.

So, I agreed.

I'm on my way to the café that we agreed on meeting at.

But, while on my way there, I suddenly got a bad feeling.

I reached the café, and saw them at the corner, they haven't ordered anything though.

That's super weird.

I sat down, and once I did, Yeji suddenly broke down in tears.

Which worried me, because this is the first time that this happened to her.

"Yah! Yeji, control those tears of yours!" Yeonjun hyung said.

"I-I'm I can't.... L-Lia.... S-She...." She started while crying.

What's happening to Lia?

"What's happening to her?" I asked her.

She was still in no shape to tell anything so; I looked over to Yeonjun hyung.

He just looked at me, and stayed quiet.

"Yeonjun! Tell him!" Yeji noona said, while looking at Yeonjun hyung and slapping his arm.

"Yeji.... you know that we aren't in the right place to say it to him...." he said, and looked at Yeji noona.

"If you aren't going to tell him, then I will." Yeji noona, said.

She looked at me, with her cat eyes that are a bit on the puffy side.

"Soobin. She's in the hospital! She's the one who tried to save you! She has kidney cancer! She's already on stage four of it!" She said, while trying to fight back the tears.

With what she said, it took me by storm.

Was it even true, though?

I mean, I haven't seen her though.

Heck, I haven't even anything about heard her.

Then, I was slapped by hard reality again.

We're already over.

I shouldn't care about this kind of stuff.

But.

Something tells me, she needs me.

Then, it hit me.

I still love her.

I looked at Yeji noona, and saw her crying.

But, none the less, I still did what I wanted to do.

"Yeji noona, where's the hospital?" I asked her, and she just looked at me, before speaking.

"Central Seoul Hospital." She said, while wiping her tears.
