~Kaneki's POV~

I was walking in the park where me (Y/N) were last suppose to meet. Just being here brings bad memories.

I want to talk to (Y/N). I want to tell her everything. I love her and only her. I miss her, I miss her a lot. I want to hug her, kiss her, make her mine again. But.. She wont believe me. And Touka? Psh, shes nothing to me. I dont love her the way she loves me. I only see her as a friend.

Can I just rewind time and go back to the old days where we were happy? No, I wish...

I continued walking, frowning at my own self, blaming myself for my actions. I suddenly heard some faint piano playing.

"Hm?" I stopped and listened. A few moments later I followed where the sound came from.

The sound became more louder and soothing. I saw a group of people surrounding the piano and the player. I walked past the people to get in front, mumbling "sorry" and "excuse me"

When I got to the front, my eyes widen in surprise.

(Y/N)..

I stared at her. Her beauty. She beautiful. I love her... Sadly she doesnt feel the same back. She despises me. But I just stared and listened. Remembering exactly why I fell in love with her. Remembering the first time we met. Being a total sweetheart

*Flashback*

The door of the café suddely open.

"Hello? Im here for my first day!" A girl walked in, shyly smiling

"Ah, welcome. Since youre new let me show you around" Touka said suddenly. I frowned a bit then smile. It was kind of unsual of her to do that but at least shes being kind

*Later During break*

"Uh hi there (Y-Y/N)?" I asked

"That's my name!" She smiled at me flustered. I smiled back

Her smile was beautiful. I sat down and started to chat with her, getting to know her more

*End of Flashback*

I was back in reality when I heard sudden clapping. The sweet music stopped and I was back to the miserable world. I looked at (Y/N) again. She was staring right back at me, looking like she was about to cry.

I want to go over and hug her but who knows what might she do. Everyone continued clapping, not noticing her expression, like I was the only one who noticed. People started walking over, placing money on a hat the was on top of the grand piano.

I finally made a move to walk up to her, after so long.

"Hey..." I said. She said nothing. Her expression was blank but her eyes were watering, tears ready to fall any second. Her eyes saying everything, she didnt need to say anything

"Listen... Im- I- I-" I sighed. I want to say I'm Sorry but the words wouldn't go through.

I wanted to say, I love you, please, lets just work things out, but I couldnt find my voice

I want to hold you in my arms and never let go, my arms didnt move a single muscle. I was scared.

"I.. I want to sort things out... Please (Y/N)" Her tears started pouring. Her knuckles white, her facial expression was angry, but she did nothing.

"You're really stupid, did you know that, Kaneki? You ask for second chances when you know you did something that you were not suppose to.."

"But it wasn't-"

"Shut up, Im still talking," She said, interrupting me. "No. You know why?" She asks standing up, "Everything you say to me now, is fucking bullshit, if you knew the consequences of kissing that son of a bitch, you shouldn't have kissed her back. Or even let her kiss you." She said getting up on my face. Slowly, every word shes saying started to tick me off

"You knew that you were dating me. So no, Kaneki. I wont give you another chance." She said starting to cry again. "No, no, no, no, NO!" She fell to her knees and sobbed. I felt anger, every 'no' she said, ticked me off even more. Im tired of her 'no'. She doesn't even let me tell her my side of the story

I showed no emotion but I kneeled down to comfort her, like how I wanted to for a long time

"Hey dont cry now." I tried to wipe her tears but she slapped me

"Shut up and dont touch me!" She yelled and moved away from me, like I was some kind of monster.

My eyes widen as I touched my face where she slapped me. Then my anger finally took over me. I stood up. She quickly stood as well then quickly walked away, into the crowd where she disappeared into. I walked the other direction and ignored the sting feeling from how hard she slapped me. But that wont stop me from what I'm gonna do later.

~Reader-chans POV~

Who does he think he is, asking to talk it out. Like for real..

I quickly wiped my eyes and went over to Richard, who was talking with someone

"Ohoho now who's this? You're daughter?" The guy askes. He was pale with light green eyes and black hair. He looked pretty hot for a guy of his age.

"Yes it is. Step-daughter actually" Richard said proudly. I rolled my eyes. Since when is he ever sounded proud?

"Ah well nice to meet you, Im Nick. By the way, beautiful piano playing you did there, you need to be well known." He smiled, showing his white teeth. I smile back

"Thank you... Nick. I'm fine with not being well know. I really dont want that" I said, mumbling the last few words.

"Thats ok, honey. You dont have too." He said, hearing what I said. He suddenly looked at his watch.

"Ah, sorry, I need to go somewhere Richard. Thank you for inviting me here. And you. Thank you, for playing, dont stop playing piano, you were wonderful" He bro hugged Richard and shook hands with me. We said goodbye and started walking home together. Richard was counting the money while I walked a bit behind him

"Go home, Im gonna go somewhere" Richard said suddenly, his voice bitter. He went the other direction while I continued walking to the house. I walked fast while my head was down in sorrow and shame
