~Reader-chan's POV~ A week Later~

"Hey, Kaneki, wanna take a walk later, today." He looked  at me and nodded. I gave him a warm smile.

"What time?" He asked.

"Like around 5 or 6 o'clock," I looked at the time. "Because I need to take (bff/n) to a doctors appointment at 3:30 later." I went to the small kitchen and took the broom and started to sweep around the room..

"Why are you always taking care of him?" He asked, frowning.

"Because he broke his two legs, and now is in a wheelchair, didn't I tell you that?" I said a bit cautiously, continuing sweeping

"You didn't tell anything. How did he broke his legs?"

"He said, he was riding his bicycle, like he does everyday. And some driver decided to run him over" I stopped and looked at him. He just sighed and laid down on the bed. "Were you thinking something else, Kaneki-kun?" He just grunted in response. I rolled my eyes and continued to clean.

"The doctor will see you at 4:20" the lady handing his papers back. He looked at the time.

"We have to wait at least 30 more minutes" he whined and pouted as he wheeled over to an empty chair. I followed and sat down.

"Don't be bummed, it's not that much time." I said trying to cheer him up. He just shrugged.

"Sometimes these doctors take a long time just to call a patient." I nodded in agreement.

"Yeah but you never know.. So for now just keep yourself occupied."

~Touka-chan's POV~

I put the music on as loud I can handle and continued to mind my own business. I looked around, seeing many people having fun, talking and taking pictures. I sighed and continued walking, putting my hands in my pockets.

*few minutes later*

I took off my headphones and stopped by a small pond. I walked over to it and looked down. I saw countless small fish swimming around.

"Touka-chan?" I heard a voice say my name. Right there I knew who it was. I frowned and walked away from him. "H-Hey, wait!" He followed behind me.

"Why are you here?" I said, not looking back. I don't know why, but I felt a sudden anger.

"Because, I was planning to wait here, until (y/n) comes. Then I saw you.." His voice flattered a bit.  I stopped walking.

"(Y/n) isn't with you? Why?" I asked as I turned around to face him finally. Suddenly all the anger went away

"She's at a doctors appointment with her friend, but she said that she'll come here,  less then half an hour." He said a bit disappointed. I stayed quiet. Maybe I can tell him now.. Since she's not around... I guess. I started to get a bit nervous. "Um, Touka-chan? Are you alright, you starting to turn a bit red..." He let out a nervous laugh.

"Um Kaneki, I have something to tell you..."

~Reader-chan's POV~

"Ok, Looks like your legs will recover in 6 more weeks, soon you'll be walking again!" The doctor said, while helping him back into his wheelchair. Once he has done that he wrote a few prescriptions and handed it to (bff/n). "Come back back in three weeks to check your legs again, and makes sure you take those medicines, too" Hee nodded and gave the doctor a small smile. Once we were done, we went down in the elevator.

"Hey, my mom just texted me saying she's done with work and is outside."

"Ok" I nodded. We got to the first floor and got out of the elevator and exited the hospital.

"Hey (bff/n)!" His mom hugged him.

"Hi mom, how was work?" He hugged he back. She pulled away and gave him thumbs up.

"Well, I'll be going" I patted his head and gave a wave to his mother and left.

~Third person POV~

20 minutes has passed by. (Y/n) was humming as she walked over to the pond where she and Kankei would always hang out.

When she finally arrived, she saw both Kaneki and Touka. She frowned and stopped humming, getting closer to the two. She heard them talking, but couldn't make out what the were saying because of the other noises around her. Suddenly Touka grabbed him by the collar and kissed him on the lips...
