You crawled under the shelter and curled up in attempt to get warm. Ming curled up next to you and quickly fell asleep. You smiled and found yourself fighting to stay awake not soon after. Eventually the sleep won and you were fast asleep in the alley, your head laying on your backpack and Ming curled up in your arms.

Sans' POV

(It's not as confusing as it sounds Sans=G sans sans=sans, sans. Uh, yeah)

I was walking home with Papyrus and sans and I couldn't stop wondering as to why that girl was out by herself. Why was she wearing a scarf and an eyepatch? Did she have some weird eye thing or something? And why was she crying?

"Bro, earth to G!" I flinched and shook my head to drag myself out of my trance. "Don't call me that." I snarled at him. "Sorry, you weren't answering to anything else." sans replied simply. "Oh," I said quietly. "Whatever." I shrugged it off.

sans gave me a face showing that he was annoyed and rolled his eyes. I chuckled at him and jokingly pushed his shoulder. He chuckled in response.

Suddenly I heard a sound down an alleyway and snapped my head sideways. My eye began to glow brightly, I was ready if this was a threat. I quickly pulled out my phone, turned on the flashlight, and shined it down the alleyway.
It was the girl.

She was sleeping under cardboard boxes. Her clothes were soaked and she was shivering. I looked closer and saw her dog in her arms, and her [H/L] [H/C] was stringy, signaling it was wet.

"WHAT IS IT SANS?" Papyrus asked suddenly. I was startled but quickly collected myself and whispered in response, "Shh, you might wake her up.. It's the girl that ran into me earlier." Papyrus looked into the alley along with sans and I.

"well we can't just leave her here." sans whispered

"Then what do we do?" I asked.

"we take her with us."

"Wha-" I was cut off.

"THAT'S A GREAT IDEA!" Papyrus chimed.

"see paps likes the idea. now you can't say no."

I rolled my eyes,"Fine, but your carrying her." I grumbled.

"Ok. Paps you get the bag."

"NYEH I GET A JOB!"

I chuckled quietly and held my phones flashlight up for them. sans picked up the girl as Papyrus picked up the bag. The dog got up itself and just watched them. Which was good, because I'm not carrying it.

Not that I have anything against dogs, I just don't feel like it.

"she's so warm... you sure you don't wanna hold her?" sans asked with a smirk. He was doing it on purpose, trying to bother me about her. I just rolled my eyes and put my phone away.

I watched as she grabbed onto sans' jacket and snuggled her face into his shirt. He smiled and began to walk. The dog followed close after her. I shoved my hands in my pockets and began to walk.

[BOOPER DOOPER TIME LOOPER. Aka timeskip]

sans had finally set her down on the bed. She had an iron grip and it took us a while to pry her off of sans. It was funny, really.

"Should we change her into something dry..?" I asked awkwardly. Papyrus shrugged for an answer and sans gave me this weird smirk. "What? We already have a random girl from the streets. We don't need her sick too. " He chuckled quietly, "sureee. it's totally normal that you wanna change her clothes while she's sleeping." I rolled my eyes again.

Papyrus didn't seem to understand what sans meant and no one was going to explain it to him. I just sighed and went to get her some pajamas. I felt like I was invading her privacy by going through her bag, but I honestly didn't want her getting sick. Normally I would've just left a human to live on their own. I dont know, but...

Theres something different about her, I guess.

[Seriously short (*cough* like me) timeskip]

sans and I had just put some sweatpants over her shorts and pulled her socks off  under the sweatpants, then we put a long sleeved shirt on her and pulled her sweatshirt from under it. She seemed comfortable as she curled up around her dog. I walked out with sans and threw her wet clothes onto the heater. Papyrus had just gone to bed and sans just went and layed on the couch.

I chuckled a little and walked to the kitchen to get some water.

I heard sans chuckle on the couch and I just ignored it. I got myself a cup of water, drank it quickly, and put it in the sink. I walked to my room and threw my shoes off, plopping onto my bed and falling asleep quickly.

[Guess what. another timeskip.]

Your POV

You rolled over and fell off the bed. Wait bed? You rubbed your head and looked around. "where am I?" You mumbled to yourself. Ming was asleep at the foot of the bed. This doesn't look like your room.. You looked down at your clothes, a black skeleton long sleeved shirt and dark gray sweatpants. This isn't what you were wearing yesterday. What the fuck is going on? (Tbh I started singing heavy metal death music to this XD)

You stood up weakly and stumbled to the door. Leaning against it you waited for a moment so you could regain yourself. After you felt a little better you opened the door and it was as if a tidal wave hit you. But instead of water it was a smell, the smell of pancakes. It smelled delicious. So instead of your brain thinking your nose did, and followed the smell.

The smell was coming from a kitchen, obviously. You peeked around the corner to see two skeletons. A tall one, with a red scarf and red gloves on. You'd often see him in the mall while you were working but never really said anything to him. The other one was the one that you ran into. Maybe he brought you here...

Then another skeleton appeared at the table. His back was turned to you so you couldn't see his face. He wore a blue hoodie with black gym shorts. Although you couldn't see his face he seemed familiar.

His head turned slightly and you could just barley make out his face. Your throat was dry but you could just barely speak, "s-sans..?" Everyone stopped what they were doing and looked over at you and you began to regret saying anything. "Oh, hey [Y/N]. Your up." sans said with a smile.

The skeleton from the mall basically choked up his food.
