12/18/16 (Ash's POV)

I groan as Russet explained what she thought the situation was. She already explained that the guys went ahead of us but why they had not come back after 4 hours is something to worry about. "Okay I explained where they are, but I think they got captured. We know the address and we have relatively small animals." I didn't hear the last part. I just growled, shifted and ran off.

My friends caught up to me in ease. As we ran the scent of multiple animals grew. I followed the scent right down a sewer and kept in the shadows. I saw multiple men. They all were armed with guns and tasers. They didn't look like the scientists I was used to. I run back to my friends telling them to keep in the shadows while Captain Ham grabbed the tasers and guns. Once she got them, she flew outside and tossed them. After she said the coast was clear we charged at them. I grab the keys to the cells and ran. Captain Ham did the same.

While Mercie, Russet, and Moon attacked them. Captain Ham and I got the people out of their cells. I told them to gather outside and wait for us if they wanted to leave this place for good. As I was unlocking the final cell, I smell a smell I know too well. I look to see Jay in the corner sleeping. I step in and pull him out and toss him on the floor. I stared at him for a while. Suddenly his eyes snap open. I stumble back in surprise and fall to the floor. "Go outside with the others Jay. We'll finish up here." I growl and finish unlocking the cells and waking up Cody, Jace, and Xavier.

Once the "scientists" were beaten up pretty good. We went outside where there were all the hybrids. "Hello I am Ash and my team and I are hybrids like yourself. We live in a town called Hillford (That is the name of the Hybrid Town) and if you would like, you can stay there. But I will warn you that most people who choose not to come with us usually get captured again. It's your choice." I say and they all stare. " My friend, Dr. J, has buses coming this way and we will stay in a hotel until they get here." Jay informed them

"But how are we gonna pay?" I growl to him "Dr.J booked practically a whole hotel." he says back. "Okay so if you would follow us, we can go to the hotel and then the town. Otherwise see you later." Jay says in a super enthusiastic voice that I think scared a small child. Jay starts walking off and I follow. When I turned around I saw everyone following. I smile and we head to the hotel.

About 12 hours later Dr. J comes in with the buses. I march up to him "Now I get why you said not to worry just about them." I say.

"Yea...should I have told you about that?"

"Well we did come in a day late because of drama." I growl

He laughs nervously and backs away slowly. I laugh and feel a tap on my shoulder. "Hey Ash...I just want to thank you guys for saving us." he says rubbing the back of his head. "Yea... Us girls saved you, but it's alright. I guess it's paying you back for saving me in the other lab." I say and he grins. I then board a bus heading home putting my feet up on the seat next to me. I then shift into a cat and take a nice long nap.
