Say No To This {Part Two}
Mipha and Link forcefully pushed Revali to the old schoolhouse to Mr. Robbie's class so he can get help with Ben's core. (F/n) came back to the club room and sat down, sighing as she rubs her head. "Any luck?" Urbosa asked as she shook her head no. "So I guess what's done is done, huh?" Daruk asked while rubbing the back of his head as she nodded. "Don't worry. I'm sure it'll be fine. The games are in a few days and you're going to be fine. I'll help you with the rest of your paperwork while you train," Urbosa spoke as she sat down and started working on the paperwork.
"You don't have to. It's my job to do this on my own," (F/n) spoke, reaching to grab the papers only to get stopped by Daruk. "I um... I need to ask you something, (F/n)," he spoke as Urbosa looked, raising a brow while smiling. He lead (F/n) out of the club room and walked through the halls. "Where are we going?" (F/n) asked Daruk who looked back at her and replied with, "Somewhere special." she sighed as they kept walking and walking. Meanwhile, Robbie was getting on Revali's case on handling something so fragile like a core so badly damaged like that while he taught him how to fix gears and cores for guardians from this point of time and from the past.
Link was wearing a old armor set while pretending to be a guardian while Mipha was just watching Link act like a child. Link bumped into a bookshelf as a picture fell down. Mipha lunged forward and caught the picture. Link put away the armor set as Mipha was about to place the picture back, but looked at it closely. "Mr. Robbie?" Mipha asked as Robbie looked up at Mipha as a small buzz came from the core he was working on while Revali was busy fixing other pieces for Ben. "Did you know Mrs. Hyrule?" she asked as Robbie sighed as he went over and took the picture from Mipha.
"I knew her when I was a young man. She had beautiful, soft hair with a lovely shade dirty blonde hair and a soft pair of (e/c) eyes while she danced like fire, wild and free to move each way she goes, and she was so--" he was cut off by Link clearing his thoat while Mipha was smiling while Revali was gagging from how love sick Robbie sounded. He placed the picture back on the bookshelf before looking away from the kids. "She was a great friend until her husband forced her to never talk to any friends. I fought her to run away with her daughters, but she kept talking about how she loved him and something else that I keep forgetting," Robbie spoke as Mipha looked down.
Robbie went back to helping Revali until they were done fixing the parts for Ben. "Thanks Mr. Robbie. I'm sure (F/n) would be glad to have these to fix up her friend," Mipha spoke as Robbie chuckled. "Come back any time! Oh, if you have any leftovers, my Cherry would be glad to take it off your hands!" he spoke as they left. "Hey Revali, you never told us about your date with (F/n)," Link signed while Mipha spoke for him. Revali sighed as he remembered panicking while (F/n) was laughing. "We didn't go out on that date. We worked on fixing Ben while treating Sabby who's getting better. We than spent the night watching movies together while enjoying each other's time," Revali spoke, smiling at the memory.
Link and Mipha looked at each other before grinning then looking back at Revali. "Did you cuddle?" Mipha asked as Revali sighed as he remembered the feeling of holding (F/n) in his wings while he was nuzzled close to her. "Yes, we did cuddle... her hair smelled of silent princesses as they always do," he spoke as Link asked in sing language, "Did you kiss her?" Revali stopped dead in his tracks as he remembered leaning his forehead onto hers which is the Rito's way of kissing. He shook his head, as his feathers were ruffled.
"Shut up, I'm not telling you guys everything," he spoke as he hurried passed them as they kept asking questions. When they made it to the club room, they didn't see (F/n) or Daruk. Revali placed down his bag before looking at Urbosa who had half, maybe a little bit more, of the paperwork done. "Where's (F/n)?" Link asked Urbosa who pointed out the window to the left side of the room. Link and Mipha looked out of it and started to worry. Revali looked and saw Daruk talking with (F/n), him looking worried while blushing.
He hurried out to make it in time. "(F/n), I... I want to ask you something, ever since middle school," Daruk spoke finally, changing the topic from food. "And what is it, Daruk?" (F/n) asked as she kept her eyes on Daruk. Revali flew outside and hurried to Daruk and (F/n) whom were standing in front of a great willow tree. "I-I wanted to ask if you'll," Daruk started before feeling his fears creep up on him causing him to pause. "If I'll...?" (F/n) asked, concerned for her friend. (F/n) held Daruk's cheeks causing him to snap out of it and stare down at (F/n)'s beautiful shining (e/c) eyes as the wind blew in front of him as her (h/l) (h/c) flew with the breeze.
"(F/n), I was wondering if you'll go out with me," he spoke, closing his eyes, ready for rejection. (F/n) removed her hands from Daurk's cheek and took a step back as Revali stopped dead in his tracks. He was too late. "Daruk I..." (F/n) tried to find the right words as her inner voice spoke, "Give him a chance. What's the worse that can happen?" but muiltple voices kept whispering, "Say no to this, you should say no to this." Daruk opened his eyes and looked in hers as the inner voice spoke, "But his eyes look so helpless." the small quiet voices kept whispering no while she answered with, "I'll think about it. I'll give you a answer after the games." Daruk nodded in understanding before walking off.
Revali made his way to (F/n). "So this is how you treat me?" he asked causing (F/n) to turn around to face Revali. "No, it's not like that--" she was cut off by Revali pinning her to the tree. "Shut up, you lowlife of a Hylian. I should have known that you are like your family," he spoke, anger filling his heart and vines. "Revali, you should know that I would NEVER be like my sister or father," she spoke as he kept her pinned. "I don't want to hear it. I thought..." he started before pausing. "You thought what? What did you think, Revali?" she asked as he closed his eyes, allowing his anger to be replaced with sadness. "I thought you could love me," he whispered as her eyes widen as a blush formed on her cheeks.
"Revali," she started as she held his cheek. He opened his eyes to see (F/n) staring into his eyes. Her brightly shining (e/c) eyes seem to show signs of love for him while tears were in the corners of her eyes. "I do love you, but... now isn't a good time. After all, I'm still bonded to my family. Maybe behind closed doors we can lovers, but outside... we have to keep hidden until I'm free truly from my father's grasp," she spoke as he felt his heart break a bit. But he understood fully. He sighed before leaning his forehead onto hers. "I understand, my stubborn princess," he spoke as she giggled softly. He let go of her and walked her back to the club room.
But she has to tell Daruk no... along with saying no to being president. But it's going to be hard to say no to this.
