with every new graphic portfolio update i make, i grow more and more sure that i've miscounted somewhere and the number at the beginning of the chapter is actually wrong. i am, however, too lazy to go back and count my updates from the start, so now i am sharing this information so it is no longer a burden i have to shoulder alone.

dramatics aside! this update is dedicated to peter parker or at least, spider-man. i am clownery incarnate so i have multiple peter parker fics (three currently, but... knowing me, there will probably be more.) in this update there are graphics for all three of my peter fics: unspun, now you see me and timefighter.

let's go!!!! also. today marks my 1k follower milestone. to everyone who has kept up with me and with this portfolio, thank you. your support is deeply appreciated and i love you all so much!

first up is a comic cover for now you see me. i both had a fun time making this and also an un-fun one (not a word but i've committed to it!). i've been making so many comic covers for other users recently that i decided to make one for myself! now you see me is my favourite peter fic—i can't believe i've reached the point where i have multiple peter fics to pick favourites from, but we don't have time to unpack that—and so i'm glad to finally treat it with some graphics. i chose these resources in particular because a hobby that both peter and my oc juliet share is photography. how deep, i know /lh

onto timefighter! this is a new fic that i actually published today so if you're interested in an older!the amazing spider-man peter parker mystery-type story please feel free to check it out! anyway, timefighter graphics! as with all of my fics, i like to establish certain aesthetics/colour schemes for them. it helps me to immerse myself in the story and also... it's easier to make graphics than to actually plan or write 😁😁 excuses aside, the vibe for timefighter was very much inspired by my childhood hero, nancy drew, as well as only murders in the building. this influence i think can be seen quite clearly in the graphics! i stuck with muted colours, like beige and pale green.

this first cover is kinda... yeah. i made it after i made the graphic for my character ld's podcast, so it's kind of derivative. i figured i should at least try to adapt the podcast graphic into a cover. a for effort!

this cover is very much inspired by nancy drew. as in, the cover is literally inspired by the original nancy drew mystery books! i had a fun time researching the design behind those original covers and figuring out which fonts were used back in the day (the day being the 1930s, which is wild.) this cover doesn't really work as a wattpad one, but when i eventually put together a graphics gallery for timefighter this will definitely make a reappearance.

here is timefighter's main cover, which i very much adore. it features the cut-out text treatment of the first cover (as well as ld's podcast cover) but also the Element of Time that is prevalent throughout timefighter... (who would have guessed😭😭). anyway, this cover is coordinated somewhat with the comic one i made, which is another reason why i like it.

the timefighter comic cover! this one is relatively simple in comparison to other comic covers i've made for both myself and others, but i think its simplicity serves it well. timefighter isn't as ambitious as my other peter fics, and the graphics reflect that.

i had fun making this graphic! i've only made one of these previously and it was for a meme, so i'm glad i got a chance to take it seriously. you can see where the first cover attempt came from, and i do think the concept suits this podcast graphic much better than the full-blown cover.

my friends know that i a) have a deeply unhealthy sleep schedule and b) have spent the past few days trying really hard to correct it. obviously fixing something like that takes time but as a result i went to bed at midnight last night and woke at seven-thirty in the morning... with a random burst of motivation to work on graphics for unspun. wattpad suddenly giving back all my missing images totally had nothing to do with it /lh.

anyways, i made this cover for unspun because, like now you see me, i hadn't made one for it previously. there's something about this cover that irks me a little, but i'm happy enough with it to post it and honestly i'm just trying to put less pressure on myself when it comes to graphics. so here we are!

i made this cover just a few hours ago for fun... i don't know what word to use to describe it other than cringe but i think the final product ended up relatively decent? this concept was taken from the notting hill theatrical poster; this movie has literally nothing to do with unspun JAFHJAJ but i was watching a significantly-worse rom-com and had the sudden desire to make a cover based on this one. don't look too closely at it, i'm afraid it won't hold up to scrutiny...

last and mayhaps least, we have a rare gif. i really hate making gifs for myself. (in general too i guess, but i don't mind making them for friends.) this gif was part of my early morning unspun kick, and... yeah. i don't have much to say about it. unspun is one of the few fics i have that i actually use faceclaims in, so i figure i should try to capitalise on that every now and then. and, despite my beef with gifs, i know that with each one i make i feel less Antagonistic™ towards them. so that's good, too.
