Isn't He Pretty?
Hayley and I walked around a store, side by side, talking and laughing. The others were walking around in other spots.
"...ugh, Frank is just so sweet," She began, "He acts, so, tough around you guys. When we're alone..." I smiled, watching a sort of twinkle appear in her eyes, "...he just wants hugs..."
"Aww," I began, "Have you guys, kissed?"
"Not yet. We almost did, but then you guys were stalking us!" She cried.
"Don't blame me! It's Mikey's fault." She giggled as we began looking through a clearance rack.
"Sure sure..." I didn't have to gaze over to know she rolled her eyes, "How're you and Gerard doing?"
"Oh my god, that boy..." I began with a smile, "Sweetest mother fucker on the planet."
"What happened? Spill! Spill!"
"Alright alright!" I giggled, "He came over after school yesterday. Cause of the snow, my parents have been stuck at work, so we... we made dinner together."
"Aww..." Hayley cooed.
"Yeah, we just made some pasta. He was so cute, dancing around the kitchen with me. Then we watched a movie, he held me the whole time."
"That's so cute..." She gushed. After flipping through a few items, I gazed up to find punk boy looking through a stack of jeans. Oh Gerard...
"What're you-... oh..." She let out a short giggle, "I see..."
"Isn't he pretty?" I asked, watching him carefully pull a pair off of a display, "That boy just, does something to me..."
"No shit," She spoke. I finally looked over at my friend.
"Whatever..." We walked away from the clearance rack, now aimlessly wandering the small retail store.
"You think we'll have school tomorrow?" She asked, watching the light snowflakes fall through the front window.
"I dunno, maybe..." I said.
"Angel face..." I spun around to see Gerard standing there, empty handed, "I'm gonna go walk around. Wanna come?"
"Sure punk boy..." He took my hand as we walked out of the store, side by side. As the winter breeze blew, I leaned into his side for warmth. He kissed the top of my head, and rubbed his thumb against my hand.
"You're so pretty pumpkin..." He whispered.
"You're pretty too babe..." Gerard breathed a chuckle, now gazing at me. I gazed back and smiled.
"Oh sugar..." He murmured. I held a hand over my mouth as I blushed from the name. This only made him laugh.
"Angel face, don't hide..." He pulled my hand away, still chuckling, "C'mon, I wanna show you this store."
Suddenly, he broke away from me, keeping his hand in mine, as he ran. I was right behind him as he led me to wherever it was he wanted to go.
"C'mon angel face!" He exclaimed, glancing back at me.
"Whatta ya mean!? I'm right here!"
"You're too slow," He suddenly stopped, so I was forced to stop as well, "Here..."
"Punk boy, what're you-" And I was once again being held in his arms, "Ah! Punk boy..." I clung to him tightly. Before I could say another word, he went off running, "Ah!" I hid my face in his chest.
"Aww, angel face-" And then he slipped on a patch of ice, causing us both to fall. He landed on his back as I landed on top of him. Not in the, "oh my god kiss me" sort of way. No no. I fell so my body was across his.
I stared up at the porch cover of the store we fell outside of for a good ten seconds before I began laughing.
"Gerard what the fuck!? I told you you'd drop me!" I just kept laughing as I climbed off of him. Now I sat there on the cold sidewalk, laughing as my boyfriend lay, gazing at me in pain.
"Stop laughing! You fuckin' landed on me! I am hurt!" I couldn't quit giggling.
"Wounded, even?" I asked, scooting closer.
"Wounded! Angel face!" Oh I wanna kiss him...
"Aww, poor punk boy," I snickered, now sitting with my gaze straight down at his, "I think I know what'll make you feel better..." He immediately caught my drift.
"Oh yeah? I think you should do that..." He spoke with a smirk.
"Mmmmm, y'know what?" I hummed, now holding a regretful but playful tone, "I'm not feeling it anymore..."
"What!?" He cried, "Angel face, you can't do this to me!" I held a hand over my mouth to keep me from laughing, "You're just gonna... gonna leave me here!? To die!?"
"No, not to die. I'm sure Frank wouldn't mind doing it instead." He cringed at the thought.
"Yeah, but it'd be better if you did it."
"Fine! Fine!" I cried, "Gotta do all the damn work around here..." I sarcastically spoke. He just stared at me with a smile.
Finally, I leaned my face in close to his. I gazed into his pretty hazel eyes for just a moment before pressing my lips against his. They felt cold from the winter air, but I didn't want to pull away.
"Eww..." It was too bad for whoever said that because I wasn't going to pull away to see who it was. Gerard wasn't either. My fingers gently weaved through his black strands. His fingers caressed the sides of my body.
"Hey..." I felt a tap on my shoe, "Guys...?" He asked, "Hello...?" There were two taps this time.
"Babe..." Gerard spoke in a tone saying 'talk to him so he leaves.'
"Okay..." I got off of my boyfriend, now sitting beside him. When I gazed up I found Pete staring down at us.
"Oh, hi Pete..." I sent a welcoming smile as Gerard sat up beside me. He took my hand almost immediately.
"Where's uh... where's everyone else?" Pete asked. Gerard pointed behind himself.
"Back that way. At the boring stores."
"Ah, I see..." He stood there for a moment, rocking back and forth on his heels as he thought, "Is, Mikey over there?" We both nodded. Pete stood there for another moment, thinking.
"I'll probably head over there. See ya guys!" And Pete was off. Gerard's gaze stuck to Pete for a few seconds.
"Is he gay?" Punk boy asked, eyes still on the boy.
"Maybe, I dunno, why? You gotta crush on him?" I joked, nudging his elbow with mine. He brought his eyes back to me.
"Oh yeah, I'm totally gay for him," The sarcasm was so thick in his voice that you could cut it with a knife, "Cause I definitely wasn't just kissing you moments ago, my angel face. I was just, thinking."
"Thinking about riding off into the sunset with Pete Wentz, I presume?" I spoke in a dramatically sarcastic tone that I even waved my hand in front of us for extra effect.
"You're not gonna give this up, are you?" I giggled.
"Not yet..."
"Well, if I'm gonna be 'riding off into the sunset,' I'd only ever do it with you."
"Aww, not even Frank?" I asked with a smirk. He leaned forward, bringing his cold lips against mine for only a second.
"Does that answer your question?" I kissed him again.
"Yeah..." I felt my face heat up as a nervous smile tugged at my lips.
"Okay, we should probably get off the ground." He said.
"Right..." I stood up, feeling my lower back ache from the fall, but it wasn't enough so I couldn't function. Gerard on the other hand, needed a little help.
"Babe, I actually... I dunno if I can get up..."
"If Frank can get up from slamming into a parked car, you can get up from slipping on a patch of ice." I held a hand out for him to grab, which he did. He struggled to stand up, but with a few painful groans, he stood up.
"My legs and chest hurt." Was all he said as he took my hand.
"Aww, poor punk boy..." I stuck out my bottom lip in a whiny manner to mock him.
"You have no right to mock me! I'm injured because of you!" He cried in a joking manner.
"Oh I'm sorry, I wasn't the one who dropped their girlfriend."
"Whatever..." He lightly nudged me to the side. I did it back. We went back and forth, lightly giggling as we walked.
"Angel face, wait," I did as told. He gazed over at the store beside him, "We made it!" And without another word, he dashed inside the store.
"Punk boy, wait up!" I ran inside behind him.
