This isn't my poem but I've posted it for friend who hasn't got a blog anywhere.  It's her very first poem .

When I close my eyes you are there in my dreams

I can see you so near

I can feel your breath on my skin

I can smell your sweet scent

I can hear the beautiful words you whisper to me

I reach out to touch you but you are not there anymore

I can't smell your sweet scent

Your beautiful words are just an empty echo in my ear

For I am now awake and you are only in my dreams
