Rosy slams her hammer into the ground, narrowly missing Scourge who dodged.

"MREEHEEHEE!" Rosy laughs. "So many cute hedgies to smush into mush!"

Y/n groans in pain before he fires an energy blast at Anarchy, sending him flying back and he wearily stands to his feet.

"Nicole?" Y/n called to his girlfriend. "Diagnostics?"

"Heavy damage to the armor, and to yourself," Nicole says in worry. "I don't know how much more you can take."

"Great..."

"Okay, so far the plan sort of worked," Sonic says and turns to Y/n. "Y/n! I'm glad your back, buddy! You've been gone for a few days. What's with the armor?"

"What? Days?" Y/n questions. "That's not possible..."

"Um... you okay, dude?" Sonic asks his friend.

Rosy swings her hammer at Scourge again, only to miss.

"Cut it out, Rosy!" the king of Moebius yells.

"My Scourgey-Wurgey remembers me!" Rosy says in happiness and makes kissing noises.

Y/n looks at the scene before him and grew confused.

"What's with the creepy Amy?" he asks.

"Welcome to Moebius, Y/n, where everyone is nuts," Amy says. "Glad you could make it to the party."

"Party--?" Y/n asks before he gets shot by an energy bolt.

"Whew! Back on my turf, baby!" Anarchy cackles with blood in his mouth. "This is the best fight I've ever had!"

"Anarchy! Help me out here!" Scourge orders his 'friend'.

"Sorry! Busy-busy-busy!" Anarchy says and charges at Y/n.

"Amy, go check on Buns!" Sonic tells the pink hedgehog. "I'll handle Scourge and try to help Y/n if I can!"

"Right!" Amy says and runs over to Buns. "Are you okay?"

"Ah'm fine. Blast it all!" Buns yells as she tries to get her robot suit back up. "Li'l Psycho done smashed the Omega Unit all to pieces."

"I can maybe get you to Dr. Kintobor...?" Amy offers, only for the top of the Omega Unit to lift off the ground thanks to a rocket thruster.

"Ah got enough power to get me back to his tower," Buns says. "You stay here an' give that brat a whuppin' for me."

"Will do!" Amy says and Buns flies off. "Now let's hope things don't get worse."

New Megaopolis, Mobius...

In the Eggdome, Eggman is seen with Snively. On a workbench, Metal Y/n lied before them with its head in front of the mad scientist.

"A few more lines of code, Snively! Then the new update on Metal Y/n will make him better than before!" Eggman declares. "And then you know what?"

"You'll sic it on Sonic," Snively answers.

"Yes!"

"Why work on this single new prototype model instead of constructing a new Metal Sonic with the same abilities?" Snively asks his uncle.

"Because, Snively, the new Metal Sonic I'm working on is going to need all the help it can get," Eggman says. "This prototype Metal Y/n will find the kinks and bugs in any function I want in him."

"One would think you'd just build an army of them instead of sending them out one at a time," Snively says. "But who am I to question 'genius'?"

"What? Are you talking?" Eggman asks his nephew. "Go get me an engine! Part SXSU-401."

Snively sighs but does as he's told. No later did he return with a large engine part. He places it on the workbench.

"Why not the standard STH-25 model?"

"Because this engine, combined with the power of the Power Gem, is powerful enough to jump between Zones!" Eggman declares. "No matter where Sonic goes, Metal Y/n will be able to follow!"

"It's overkill if you ask me," Snively says as he wipes off some sweat.

"I want him 'over' and for Metal to 'kill', so it works!"

Snively sighs.

"I wonder if she has emailed me back yet..."

Not long after, Eggman finished updating and repairing Metal Y/n. The Badnik stands to its feet as its Power Gem glows, signaling its activation.

"Complete!" Eggman laughs with giddiness. "Can you detect your hated quarry?"

"Connecting to Eggnet. Scanning... Target not found," Metal Y/n says before its body begins to spark. "Expanding search to most likely Zones. Investigating..."

With a bright flash of light, Metal Y/n vanishes from sight. Both Robotniks look at where the Badnik once was before Eggman yells in anger.

"STUPID ROBOT! YOU'RE SUPPOSED TO WAIT FOR MY COMMAND!" Eggman knocks a toolbox to the ground. "NOW IT'S GONE WITH THE ENGINE AND-AND-AND--! ARGH!"

"I'll be at my workstation if you need me, Uncle," Snively says as he walks away.

Mercia, Mobius...

Back at Never Lake, Silver walks up to the two hedgehogs.

"You're sure you know where I can find Y/n?" he asks.

"Verily," the hooded hedgehog says. "My cousin told me of him through her letters. He hails from New Mobotropolis, but more likely ye would find him at Freedom HQ."

"And were in Mercia," Mari-An states. "On the other side of the ocean."

"Not a problem," Silver holds up a golden ring. "I brought a Super Warp Ring."

"Which means I'm left to look after things here," Mari-An says to her husband.

"T'would be the wisest course, my dear Mari-An."

"Don't have too much fun without me, love."

A flash appears and a giant ring forms in front of Silver. The hooded hedgehog walks up to the hedgehog.

"Do you tiy know where Freedom HQ is?" Silver asks.

"Aye," the hedgehog says. "My cousin has sent me many letters."

"Then touch the ring and think about it," Silver tells the hedgehog. "It'll open up a passage--"

A bright flash of light covers them both.

Freedom HQ, Mobius...

Back at Freedom HQ, Sally argued with her Anti.

"Stranding Sonic and Amy on your world was not part of the plan!" she tells the Moebian princess.

"The plan for us was to be rid of Scourge and your plan was to send him back to Moebius. We all win!" Alicia declares. "Besides, once I find Anarchy and convince him to ditch Scourge, we'll have no trouble taking him down."

"I should've expected--YEEP!"

Sally and Alicia jump back when a giant ring appears between them. The hooded hedgehog steps through it in awe.

"--straight there."

"Gadzooks!" the hedgehog says in awe.

"Huh? King Rob O' the Hedge?" Sally questions.

"Princess Sally," Rob O' smiles at the chipmunk and holds her hand. "My apologies for the unannounced visit. Prithee, where is Y/n? As well as Sonic and my dear cousin?"

"We don't really know where Y/n is since he vanished about a week ago," Sally says before glaring at the Suppression Squad. "However, the Suppression Squad here helped us turn back an invasion from Moebius. Only they sealed Sonic and Amy off in that Zone, too."

"Expertly executed, nevertheless," Miles states proudly.

"Moebius, you say?" Silver questions as he examines the Star Posts.

"Y-yes," Sally answers. "Rob, who is that?"

"Silver," Rob replies, "but I know not from when he came."

"Alright--" Sally does a double take. "Wait... when?"

"I have a feeling we might find Y/n there," Silver says as he activates the Super Warp Ring again.

"Wait, Y/n?"

"Apologies again, your highness, but I suspect his mission to be of dire importance," Rob says and turns to Silver. "You know of this 'Moebius'?"

"Unfortunately," the time traveler says and touches the ring. "Here we go."

Rob follows Silver's actions and does as he does. Then the ring flashes and the two vanish from sight.

"It can never be simple, can it?" Sally asks herself. "Tails, I want those Star Posts up and running now."

"Yes, ma'am!" Tails says as he runs to the computer.

"Five more minutes," Alicia smirks. "Sonic should have ground Scourge into the dirt by then."

Castle Acorn, Moebius...

Sonic dodges a Spin Attack from his Anti who crashes into a pillar.

"You just had to ruin my fun!" he yells in anger.

Y/n and Anarchy crash through the ceiling and slam into the ground behind them. They tussle and toss on the floor as Sonic Spin Attacks his Anti.

"I conquered this planet in weeks!" Scourge declares. "Now I've got to start all over on yours!"

"You're breakin' my heart," Sonic says sarcastically.

"What I'm gonna do is break your world!" Scourge says as he charges at his doppleganger. "It'll do more than bow to me!"

"Same old song, dude," Sonic says as he charges back. "Put up, or shut up!"

"--CONTROL!!"

A bright flash of green stops Sonic and Scourge in their tracks. When it fades away, it reveals Shadow standing between the two.

"What in the heck are you doing here?!" Scourge asks the Ultimate Lifeform.

"Um... hi, Shadow?" Sonic waves at the black hedgehog.

"I take it this is not the Special Zone," Shadow crosses his arms.

"Nope," says Sonic. "This is Moebius."

"'Moebius'?" Shadow questions.

"The Anti-Mobius? Evil Mobius? Another Zone?" Sonic sighs. "Forget it."

Shadow turns to Scourge.

"Why does he have a crown?"

"He conquered this world and then tried to invade Mobius," Sonic informs the Ultimate Lifeform. "Since you're here, do you want to help beat him up?"

"... sure," Shadow takes the offer.

"Dude!" Scourge says. "Weak!"

Another bright flash of light appears, making everyone turn to see Metal Y/n.

"Scanning immediate area," the Badnik says and turns to see the three hedgehogs. "Multiple priority targets. Prioritizing--"

Before another word gets out of its mouth, Y/n crashes into his metal copy. They tumble across the ground before they get sprawled across the floor. Y/n shakes his head before looking up to see Metal Y/n.

"What in the...?"

"Scanning new target... Target recognized. Y/n L/n. Threat level: extremely dangerous," Metal Y/n says before its chest sparks. "Copy recognized. Overwriting main objective..."

"Um... what?" Y/n questions.

"When did this happen?!" Nicole asks.

"Um... meet Metal Y/n?" Sonic says.

"Main objective overwritten. Kill Y/n L/n. Secondary objective: kill Sonic the Hedgehog," Metal Y/n stands to its feet. "There can only be one."

"Oh, come on!" Y/n cries out as he flips away to avoid a metal fist.

Then Anarchy appears and backhands Metal Y/n into the wall. It easily pries itself out as it scans Anarchy.

"Hey! No one's allowed to kill him but me!" the Anti-Y/n declares.

"Scan complete. Target unidentified. Threat level: unknown," the Badnik says. "Engaging in combat. No mercy. Kill on sight."

"Well, that was unexpected," Sonic says.

"What? Egg-brain got no time to make a Metal Scourge?" Scourge asks. "I'm insulted."

"The robot is welcome next to your immature--" Shadow doesn't get another word out.

A giant golden ring appears in the middle of everyone. Out of it walks Rob and Silver.

"'Tis like the Castle Acorn of old!" Rob says as he looks around in awe.

"Wow," Silver says unenthusiastically. "This doesn't really change at all..."

"Sonic! I want to trade opponents!" Amy cries out as Rosy chases her. "Please?!"

However, they both stop when they see the gathering.

"Rob?!" Amy questions.

"Dear cousin!" Rob greets with a smile.

"Whoa, okay," Sonic says as he looks at Silver. "Who's the new guy?"

"How many more...?" Shadow begins to grow angry.

"Multiple contacts. Identifying..." Metal Y/n drones. "Prioritizing..."

"WHY IS THERE SO MANY OF YOU?!" Y/n asks in confusion.

"This isn't going to bode well with my sensors..." Nicole mutters.

"So many hedgies to smash!" Rosy laughs.

"So which one is...?" Silver states.

"Everyone, get out of my castle!" Scourge barks in anger.

It was suddenly a massive free-for-all. Arrows were shot, kicks were thrown, hammers were swung, energy blasts were fired, and Spin Attacks were... spun. And while everyone fought, Silver watched from afar in confusion.

"Rob, which one is--?"

Rob couldn't answer since he had drawn the attention of Metal Y/n.

"Um, ma'am? Can you tell me--?"

Amy and Rosy clash with their hammers.

"Excuse me, are either of you--?"

Anarchy laughs as he drags his counterpart's face through the stone wall. He gets kicked away by Y/n who chases after him with a hammer for a hand.

"I'm just trying to find--!"

Shadow elbows Scourge in the back of his head, sending him flying.

"ENOUGH!"

Almost immediately, everyone but Rob was covered in a light blue energy which froze them in place. They all looked towards Silver who had his hand raised at them.

"Psychokinesis...?" Y/n questions.

"Uh... who wants to know?" Sonic asks.

"My name is Silver the Hedgehog," the hedgehog introduces himself. "I've journeyed from the future to find this 'Y/n' and destroy him."

Rob looks at Silver in shock.

"He is," Anarchy and Y/n point at each other.

"What?!" the Anti questions. "I'm Anarchy!"

"Okay, it's a technicality," Y/n says, "but you're still Y/n."

Silver hums in thought before he spots Metal Y/n.

"Wait a minute... I recognize this robot design," Silver says. "So if this Metal 'Y/n' looks like that..."

"Oh, boy..." Y/n sighs.

"I have you now, traitor!"

Silver fires a blast of psychokinetic energy at Y/n, sending him crashing into the wall. Y/n growls as he stands up from the floor.

"I've had about enough of being thrown into walls!" Y/n shouts in anger as his nano armor only covered his body, not his head.

Silver goes to fire another psychokinetic blast at Y/n, only for Y/n to do the same. Their psycho-blasts hit each other, making them swirl in a ball of blue and green before creating an explosion of force which blew everyone back. They both groan.

"Y/n, are you okay?" Nicole asks her boyfriend.

"No, not really..." Y/n groans.

Silver grunts as he stands up, only for Rob to aim an arrow at his head.

"Yield," he says, "lest I'll be forced to end you."

"You want me to do this," Silver tells the king.

"What I desire, sirrah, is an explanation."

"During your time, one of the legendary Freedom Fighters turns on the team and destroys them, dooming my future," Silver says and points at Y/n. "Only Y/n is remembered as having that kind of power capable of doing that!"

"Wouldst you take a life on legend alone?" Rob asks. "Art thou so convinced after seeing him for naught but a moment?"

"But... it makes sense..." Silver protests.

Back with everyone else, the fight has continued. Sonic Spin Attacks Rosy to protect Amy while Shadow fights Scourge. Y/n is seen trying to fight off both his metal copy and his Anti as Nicole assists him.

"His power may be legendary, but it is nothing compared to his heroism," Rob tells Silver.

Silver turns to watch Y/n fighting. He then sees him create a shield to block an attack aimed at Shadow from Rosy. He gets knocked back by Anarchy before getting back up and blocks a kick from Metal Y/n.

"Kiss-up to the brat later," Scourge tells the two as he sweeps them off their feet. "Respect the real legendary power here and now!"

Scourge then grabs Rob by the hood and pulls it over his eyes.

"I don't think you've got a counterpart here," Scourge states. "I think 'your' brother already took 'you' out."

Scourge then Spin Attacks Silver into a pillar.

"Nice powers, kid," he says. "Use 'em to get a less-stupid haircut."

Scourge then moves aside to dodge Rosy's hammer.

"Oh, Scourgey!" she says. "You say the meanest things!"

"Would you go away?!" Scourge yells at the girl.

"LEAVE ROB ALONE!" Amy yells as she runs at Scourge.

"Get him, Amy!" Sonic cheers on the pink hedgehog.

Y/n moves aside to avoid an punch from Anarchy. Then Metal Y/n comes in and swings at him, making Nicole make a shield and blocks the Badnik.

"Okay, I don't know why," Nicole growls, "but I really hate this robot!"

Sonic and Shadow suddenly Spin Attack the Badnik which it blocks. Then Y/n ducks under a kick from his Anti.

"This fight is quickly going out of control," Shadow states.

"It was controlled to begin with?" Sonic asks.

"Sorry, but do we ever have anything under control?" Y/n asks.

He gets shot away by an energy bolt from Anarchy. Then Metal Y/n starts to spin, turning into a tornado of death.

"We cannot keep protecting each other," Shadow says, "and I am unsure of who all our targets are."

"Yeah," Sonic agrees. "Things could stand to settle down."

"I've got an idea, then!" Y/n declares as he stands to his feet. "Yo, Metal-Me! Anarchy! Time out!"

Both counterparts stop what they were doing and look at Y/n.

"Instead of fighting everyone and getting nowhere, how about we all focus on Scourge and take him down first?" Y/n suggests to the two before turning to Silver.

"Assessing proposal..." Metal Y/n beeps and nods. "Acceptable."

"Silver, we can finish whatever business you have with me later, okay?"

"Fine by me," Silver says as he helps Rob to his feet.

"And... whoever you are," Y/n points at Rosy. "You get final smashies."

"Ooooh! You're the bestest!" Rosy gushes.

"Now hold on just a stinkin' minute here!" Scourge says.

However, Anarchy was having trouble contemplating what he was being told.

"What? Fight... Scourge?" Anarchy questions with wide eyes. "I couldn't--"

"No, this'll be good for you," Sonic butts in. "Scourge doesn't care for you. He's using you. Now it's up to you to decide whether or not you want to be used like some puppet."

Anarchy looks at Sonic in shock. He couldn't believe what he was hearing. Scourge couldn't either, making him angry.

"What?! Anarchy, you can't believe those dimwits!" Scourge tells the madman. "Who's been by your side this entire time?! Who's pushed you to get more powerful?!"

Anarchy doesn't listen. He was growing to angry to listen. He doesn't know who's lying to him, and HE HATES BEING LIED TO!

"RAAAAAGH!"

With explosives anger and blank eyes, Anarchy turns to Y/n and punches him through the roof. He flies after him, deciding to finish what he started. Scourge sighs before he sees everyone else circle him.

"Oh, cute! Real cute! Throw enough chumps at me and hopes it works, right?" Scourge asks before grinning. "Well, forget that! I've got ways of dealing with you."

With that, Scourge speeds past everyone as he attempts to get to his throne.

"Halt, villain!" Rob aims his bow and arrow at the king.

"Drop him before he escapes!" Silver orders as he uses his powers to lift up some fallen debris.

Scourge uses his super speed to dodge the rocks thrown at him and tbe arrows shot. However, he gets sent flying into the throne room when Sonic and Shadow Spin Attack him. However, he smirks as he crawls up on to his throne.

"You're done, Scourge," Sonic tells his Anti. "Give it up already."

"Not a chance," Scourge smirks. "Not while my throne's stocked with Anarchy Beryl."

"Anarchy Beryl...? Oh, no!" Sonic realizes what his doppleganger meant. "Chaos Emeralds!"

With a mighty yell, Scourge gets covered in a flash of light. He laughs in power and pride as he stands from his throne, his now purple quills standing up as his sclera was black and his irises blood red. The flames on his jacket and his glasses turned blue as his shoes turned from red to purple.

"All hail the king, baby!"
