Talk
At first, she was at a loss for words. She wasn't sure how to begin, she looked down at the coffee she held tightly in her hands.
"Where to start?" she asked, looking up to meet his eyes. She couldn't help but to get lost a bit in the warmth they held inside.
"Where ever you feel is necessary is good enough for me." he replied, it was strange the way he felt. He wanted to get to know her, but he felt as if he's known her his whole life. But he wasn't going to try to explain that, it didn't make sense to him, why would it make sense to her?
She gave a slight nod, before taking a small breath, she wanted to know what he was thinking about, but how can you say that to a complete stranger? "Well, first thing I will say is this is the best place to get coffee and has the most decent price." she smiled. "The other places they fail to accomplish either let alone both."
"Okay got it. For good, well priced coffee, here's the place to go. Looks like I knew where to stop." he laughed quietly.
"You sure did. People here are overly friendly. They wave to everyone, hold the door, say 'hi.' and sometimes even ask about your family. Since you're new you might have to deal with, 'I haven't seen you before,' instead but just in case it's one of the former ones don't feel bad if you don't know them. Chances are they don't know you either, they are just friendly. You should fit in nicely." she said the last sentence a little quieter, but it was still audible.
"I'm assuming they don't typically buy coffee though."
"That they do not. But hey, nobody's perfect." she shrugged as a genuine smile spread across her face.
"So basically, coffee here, people are super friendly. Do I have it?"
"Yep, also people don't really drive a lot since everything is close enough to walk, they sometimes do but especially on nice days you'll see almost everyone walking. So if you want to skip traffic that's how you do it."
"Thanks for the tip." he said before drinking some more of his coffee.
"No problem," she eyed him while taking a drink.
"If it's alright could I get your name?" he asked each word getting a bit quieter.
"Sure, it's Lia, and yours?"
"It's Benjamin."
"It was great to meet you. Maybe we'll see each other around." she smiled. "Oh and thank you again for the coffee."
"Of course, thank you for taking the time to tell me more about this place." he got up from his seat.
Lia did the same, "Well, I guess this is goodbye for now." she took one last look before walking away.
