I let out a huff of air and get out of my moms boyfriends car. I slam the door closed, "don't slam the door you ungrateful bitch!" Tony, my moms boyfriend, yells at me.
I flip him the bird and start to walk up to the building. I walk into the library only to see it full of detention kids. I let out a cough to get mr.vernons attention, "I'm sorry sir but could I also use the library? Mr. White and mrs. Reed said I could use it today." I ask politely but I was really trying to keep in the pain from last nights beating. He lets out a loud sigh, "fine! But be quite and don't talk to anyone here!" I nodded my head and sat behind the John bender. I start to pull out all of my books some for school others are full of pot, cigarettes and medical things. I put them on the desk while mr. Vernon continued his speech. "We are going to write an essay no less than 1000 words. Describing to me who you think you are." I shake my head at that, "is this a test?" I hear a voice ask, I look and see bender was the one who asked. I let out a sigh and went back to trying to find my book with my weed in it. Vernon ignored bender and kept talking, " and when I say essay, I mean essay. I do not mean one word repeated 1000 times." He starts to put paper on everyone's desk, excluding mine. " sorry sir, but I don't need this paper." He just gave me a look that said shut the fuck up. He then started talking again, "is that clear, mr. Bender?" Bender looks away not really caring, "crystal." I start to look for my book that had my cigarettes in it, when Vernon started talking again. "Good. Maybe you'll learn something about yourself. Maybe you'll even decide whether or not you care to return." Then Brian, the well known nerd of the school gets up. "I can answer that right now, sir. That'd be no for me, 'cause-" he was interrupted by Vernon, thank god! "Sit down, Johnson." But of course Brian being the good child had to thank the asshole. "thank you sir." I zone out again when I find the right book, I open it to find that it held my assortment of candy instead of my cigarettes. I come back when I hear bender start to talk. "Yeah. I have a question. Does Barry manilow know that you raid his wardrobe?" And that of course got him another detention, in really starting to get pissed off! I can't find my cigarettes or weed any where! I'll kill Tony if he took them! I hear Vernon do a stupid mess with the bull you get the horns thing. I look up and focus when bender starts to talk again. "That man is a brownie hound." I let out an angry huff and start to shake random books. "Come on! I know this shits in here!!" I start to calm down, when I hear some one biting their nails. I look over and see Allison biting on her nails. Soon everyone is looking at her, bender being bender just had to make a comment. "You keep eating your hand, you're not going to be hungry for lunch." Allison glares at him and spits her thumb nail at him, thankfully it doesn't hit him. Bender starts to talk again, "I've seen you before, you know." Then her turns to me, "but not you, who are you?" I let out a huff of air, "I don't care, now I'm trying to look for something." He looks at me, but Vernon looks into the room. "what's more important then telling me your name?" I look at him dead in the eye, "my weed!" I slip under my desk and under benders seat, "you must have came out of one of the books I was shaking!" Bender coughs, "now will you tell me your name?" I nod my head, "yeah, my names may."
