I love your freckles

Those little love speckles

That adorn you like so many stars

Some of them beckon

Others, I reckon

Allow only a gaze from afar

Some of them golden

Others are honey

Some are the color of copper

A few shaped like tear drops

A couple like rain

There are even a few that could pass for champagne

Some hold dear to your neckline

Others you try to disguise

Those next to your nose I love I suppose

Because they're so close to your eyes

I love your freckles
