It was the next day and the five children were back in the tree house this time with 'army uniforms' consisting of white shirts mostly t-shirts the children happened to have, black pants again within whatever they had in there closet, a mix of snow and rain boots, and blue jackets all with matching small paper flags taped on with scotch tape. Finally they all had hats from the second eldest's dress up bin. The treehouse had been slightly redecorated to include matching flags to their uniform drawn out on poster board the Watson children had leftover from a lemonade stand.

The five children had each brought a weapon and were currently making shields to use out of cardboard except for the second eldest who had one from his home.

By noon they were all prepared.

The youngest blonde had a Nerf N-Strike Elite Jolt Blaster and a cardboard shield that was messily made by the three year old painted red with a messy white T on it.

The youngest brunette has a Nerf Mega Talon Blaster with a cardboard shield matching his best friend except green rather then red.

The middle child had a Strike Elite AccuStrike Series Alphahawk and an orange shield

The second eldest had a Nerf Rebelle Spylight Blaster which was technically a hand me down from his older sister, but when your the youngest of 5 hand me downs are mostly what you own, and a toy wooden shield

The oldest had a Nerf Alpha Strike Flyte CS-10 Motorized Blaster and an unpainted cardboard shield.

The 6 year old ginger was put on watch duty awaiting the other side to be ready.

"They're here!"

The ginger got up and ran grabbing his weapons.

Four opposing boys were on the ground with their own weapons.

The eldest of L'manburg and the second eldest of the other team met in the center to communicate before the battle.

Wilby went to talk to Clay for something. We've been playing in Tubs' backyard tree house but his big brother wanted us to leave so now we're having a war! Wilby said he was gonna come and tell us what was gonna happen when he's done talking to Clay.
