Yj: so I'm handing the music controller job to you. Connect your phone Bluetooth and play what ever you want.

Al: oh I seriously doubt that will be a good idea . You will end up have to listen to an obnoxious amount of k-pop including your group and also some pretty unknown artists.

Yeonjun just chuckled before speaking again.

Yj: sounds cool play it. I don't mind.

Alita hesitated for a bit but soon got over it and connected her phone to the car's Bluetooth and playing the playlist on her Spotify which had the most variety among all her playlist.

But as soon as she hit shuffle and play the first song that came one just had to be Yeonjun's 'Boyfriend'

Al: fuck.... Why universe ?

Yj: damn must be a sign.

Yeonjun couldn't stop the little chuckles that left his lips at the situation while Alita was getting redder by the second.

Al: stop laughing at me

Alita let out and embarrassed whine.

Yj: I'm not laughing at you. I just finds the situation amusing.

Alita just continued to pout instead of answering which led to Yeonjun who was driving with just one hand (hot) to take alita's hand in his free one and hold it as he drove as if nothing was happening.

Al: can I ask you to sing along to this if it's not weird.

Yj: sure , I don't mind.

With that Yeonjun started singing along to his own voice coming through the car speaker. While Alita stared between Yeonjun face and his hands holding hers

As the song came to an end another song started which was not one Yeonjun had heard before but it sounded interesting to him and quickly caught his attention.

Yj: what's this song ?

Al: it's called Delilah. It's by an artist called .... Wait let me check.... Mikolas.

Yj: hm . Sounds nice .

Yj: And.... We are here .

Alita looked around and saw they were at a small diner and the place looked pretty remote.

Al: what is this place. Looks deserted. Are you sure they still serve ?

Yj: official hours are after 9pm . This is like a night time dinner . But they opened early as I'm friends with the owner .

Al: ahh ok.

As soon as they walked in they were greeted by middle aged man with a bright and fatherly smile on his face.

Yj: Hey uncle Seok.

Seo: hey jun-ah come on. Is this the girl ? She is really pretty. Hello miss welcome to my diner.

Alita gave a smile back before following him and Yeonjun to their seats . And soon as they were seated the man was ready to take their orders.

Yj: I'll take Chicken dumplings and your mystery mixed fruit juice.

Al: I guess , I have the French fries and lemonade.

The man quickly recited their order back and confirmed it before going into the kitchen where he could be heard talking with some one , who Ally assumed to be the chef.

Yj: the chef is his boyfriend. They two lovers run this place together.

Al: aww that's actually cute and really brave of em.

Yj: most people don't know these two are together. Only the regulars know.

Al: that's probably safer even though I hate that that's the case

Yj: same anyway. How's college going ?

Al: you already know. I text you almost everything that happens.

It was true. Alita often shared anything that happened in college life with Yeonjun through texts and calls.

Yj: true we almost always share everything with each other I don't know what to talk about. But strangely that's fine. Just being here with you like this feels nice.

Al: I can't say I don't feel the same.

Yeonjun's hands were once again on Alita's as he played with her fingers.

Yj: there is one thing you didn't tell me yet.

Al: huh ? And what's that ?

Yj: what happened with your internship applications.

Al: oh ya i completely forgot to tell you. JYP reached back yesterday night , HYBE should reach back by tomorrow noon unless I'm not selected for the internship.

Yj: hey don't worry I'm sure you will get it. And even if that's doesn't happen there is still JYP. You did hear back from one place right.

Al: yup.

And like that they managed to find little topics to discuss till their food came . And even when it fell silent it didn't feel awkward. Both of them feeling comfortable even in silence with the other .
