Earlier that day.

Alita had just got back from her University after the mini party her course mates arranged for her. She wasn't super close with any of them but her batchmates were all really sweet enough to throw celebrations whenever a birthday or little achievements come up.

As she walked into her apartment she noticed she had courier so she went to fetch it. The parcel was a little heavier than she anticipated but she brought it inside and left it on the coffee table before going to her room to freshen up and change out of the mini dress she was wearing and washing out any remainings of smeared cake from her hands and faces which she may have missed whole wiping it off at the University.

Once she was in comfortable clothes she got back to the parcel, her curiousity finally making an appearance as she opened the parcel only to seeing it's packaged in 3 layers of wrapping materials.

Once she finally managed to get past all the extra layers she found a cute jewelry set consisting of silver coloured hoop earrings, matching colour chain with three white beads for locket and a matching bracelet.
When she lifted the set to inspect them up close she was surprised to find the black version of TXT's latest album , what's even better was that it was a signed album.

Only when she took in her hands to open it did she notice a little note attached to the bottom of the album. Once she noticed she quickly took the note off and read it

Hey happy birthday Ally. I know by the time you finish this note you might be very well be upset at me for lieing but I hope you will understand why I had. And I hope getting you you're favourite version of the latest album would help you be less upset at me.

Alita didn't want to believe it. She saw the similarities between the signature on the album and the note , the one on the note being less flashy , extravagant and autograph like. But she didn't want to think of it as any more than a mere coincidence, even though deep down she knew they were the same signature despite how much she wanted to deny that possibility.
