So, Sonic's received a new trailer for both his newest game and movie. And I adore where it's going so far after y'know the Sonic Colors:  Ultimate (noun) shananigans.

Note: I haven't watched the whole game awards and only seen clips(movie and game trailer) for Sonic movie 2  and Frontiers formerly known as Rangers on Gamestop and Paramount Picture's youtube channels.

So, Sonic movie two brought back Jim Carrey as Robotnik aka Eggman, Ben Schwartz as Sonic, donut lord and potentially his wife. While it also brings in some new VA's like Eldris Elba as Knuckles and finally Colleen as Tails.

I  liked the beginning of the Trailer as it showcases the night city of green hill polluted by police and Sonic preparing for battle ontop of a building which references Sonic Adventure 1's  first cutscene but without the line "Aw yeah this is happenin'!" since this is a different Sonic.  And the reintroduction of the charismatic Eggman, damn that jacket is sparking with style! But most importantly, this is the first time Sonic and Tails meet in this movie and  I'm intrigued to see how they work out while also hoping that Tails isn't portrayed as a wimp, I'm looking at you SF.

And then Knuckles introduction lookin great so far and is portrayed like a badass with the line " do you think I want your power?" while holding Sonic like a cricket ball only downside to this is he's being tricked by Eggman for the what 4th or 5th time?

So that's my thoughts on the movie but for the game?  Well I'm liking it so far but, knowing what happened after forces, I'm keeping my excitement low. (Feel free to correct me.)

I like the setting, where it's taking place in a forest and he's being chased by Eggman's badniks. And I adore Sonic's serious expression as he escapes from their sight via Tails' voice.

Overall: it's decent.

So my verdict:  things are looking great  for the blue blur, but a little worrying  considering Forces reputation but I'm willing to give them a second chance.
