ITS A SCAM

3rd Person POV

And now here we are , in the Twinkie with Via, Sarah and Kiara as they watched the boys talk outside of the van

"He said it looked something like this" Kiara said holding up the map as they all looked at it together

"Sooo" Sarah exclaimed as she traced the drawing with her finger and then via did the same to a different part of it

"That's about 50 feet down and they're using 100-feet rope so I guess this little wagon will go straight to the gold room" Kiara continued

"Who the fuck drew this?" Via asked as she fell back laughing into Sarah's lap and she laughed with her

"Who do you think?" Kiara chuckled and she looked to see pope already staring at them

"So you and pope?" Sarah asked and Via shook her head

"Nah but her and cat" Via said and Kiara snapped her head towards her

"How do you know about that?" She questioned and Via sat up from Sarah's lap

"Oh come on , me and her tell each other everything or most things" Via said and JJ walked over

"Kie, this better work. we can't pawn this if there's a giant wheat symbol on it" JJ told her

"It's gonna work" Kiara said as she held up the torch and went outside as she torched it and via sat next to Sarah holding her hand as she watched them melt it down. Once it was over , they got in the car and drove to the pawn shop. They pulled up and got out of the car with JJ holding the gold

"Hell of a job melting it down. Dr. Frankenstein" He stated and via sighed

"Like you could've done better" Kiara stated

"I could've done much bette. I took a welding class" JJ said and Via shook her head

"When?" Kiara and Via asked

"Chill out" John b said stopping them as via now stood next to Sarah and sighed again

" easy For you to say you're not the one that has to pawn this piece of shit off. How did I get this job anyways?" He asked and Via giggled

"Oh I know. Because you're the best liar out of all of us J" She said and they walked into the shop as Via walked away and looked around. She got out of earshot and saw Barry hiding

"Shit!" She whispered and walked away and back to the group to see the lady gone

"Guys we have to go"Via said and they all looked at her

"V, what?" JJ asked and she made eye contact

"Barry. He's back there, this is a scam. We're being scammed" Via said and they all shook their heads besides sarah

"Sar, you believe me right?" Via asked and sarah nodded her head softly

"Of course I do Butterfly" Sarah said and the lady walked back into the room before they could leave

"So, I, uh. I talked to my boss and uh this is what I can do" She said and put a piece of paper down

"50 thousand? You think I walked in here not knowin the spot price? Ma'am I know for a fact this is worth 140, at least" JJ exclaimed

"Well sweetie you in a pawnshop. This ain't Zurich. Do I look Swiss to you?" She asked

"90 or I walk" He said

"70 , half price.. and um I don't ask questions about where you got this" She said and JJ looked at John b and he nodded

"I'm gonna need that in large denominations , please" He exclaimed as they all smiled but Via

"Well heres the snag. I don't have that much denominated not here anyway. I can write you a cashiers check" she stated and via chuckled

"I fucking knew it" she whispered to herself

"No ma'am I want the cold hard. That's what that sign says. Cash for gold and that's what I expect. I'm gonna get it in cold hard" He said

"Well I have to send you to the warehouse. I have money there. Is that all right?" She said and they nodded

"Where's this warehouse?" JJ asked and she gave them to directions and then they got in the car as via noticed a car following behind them and sighed

"This is a set up I'm telling you guys" she said and John b sighed

"Wow where did via the optimist go?" He asked and she threw up her arms

"Oh I don't know maybe when we got shot at by some blind bitch, or shot at by two guys or when you got house invaded or when I beat my ex boyfriends ass, either way she's gone John b and she might not come back anytime soon" Via ranted and Sarah grabbed her hand

"I've never even heard of resurrection drive" Sarah said as she changed the topic

" Because you're rich" JJ said and Via sighed

" We've never heard of it either JJ" She said and they looked around

" There's nothing but weeds back here" Kiara said

" All right just cause there's weeds doesn't mean it's like..." JJ started but he was cut off by a cop car behind them

"Cops? Out here?" Kiara asked and via shook her head as she grabbed the gold from jj and she hid it quickly

"No it's a fucking scam like I told you guys two times" Via said and they pulled the car over as they looked around until John b looked out the car window and saw a gun at his face

" Why don't I go ahead and see them hands in the air right now?all of y'all's hand up in the air right now" Barrie yelled at them and via held her hands up

"You! Out of the car! Let's go!" He yelled at John b as he got out the car and helped the others out as via followed what he said

"There you go pretty girls! Let's go! Let's go! Here we go! Let's go! Hurry up!" He yelled and JJ got out with pope in front of him

"Alright alright, just chill out. Just relax" JJ yelled

"JJ SHUT THE FUCK UP" she yelled as him and he stopped as Barry looked at them

"Lay down in the ditch, lay down in the ditch. On your god damn hands and knees. Down! Put your face on the ground" He yelled as them and pointed his gun at vias head as she grabbed Sarah's hand and watched Barry get in the car

"It's a set up guys" Kiara said and via chuckled

"Yeah like I said. Fucking idiots" Via said and she watched John b get up from the ground and got to Barry's car and get in. Barry got the gold and via sighed and then Barry got in his car as it started moving and then Barry got out as jj punched him and he punched him and threw Kiara

"PRICK" Via yelled and she swept his leg out from under him and stepped on his back as John b hit him with the gun and Sarah hit him with the car door as Kiara and pope kicked him

"Son of a bitch" Sarah exclaimed as jj pulled down his mask

"I know this piece of shit" JJ yelled and via sighed

"Yeah me too. He sells Chris coke" Via said and Sarah sighed

"Probably knows my brother" She said and Via nodded

"Oh he definitely does" Via agreed

"He sells coke to my dad" JJ said and Barry spoke up

"Hey listen I couldn't hurt any single one of y'all" Barry started and JJ hit him with the butt of the gun

"JJ" Sarah said and Via sighed

"Let him he needs this" Via said and JJ grabbed Barry's wallet and license

"Come on let's get out of here" Pope said and jj threw the wallet at Barry

"We've got one last stop. Let's go see where this son of a bitch lives" JJ said and they got in the car as John b threw the keys and they drove away to Barry's house and parked as JJ got out and automatically walked inside

"What the hell?" Sarah asked and via sighed

"Guys he sells coke to his dad, he's the reason his dad is addicted and he just almost killed us, JJs pissed and I don't blame him" Via said and Kiara shook her head

"You seriously think this is a good idea?" She asked and via shook her head

"No kie but this is jjs revenge and he needs this so just stop please" Via said and JJ walked out with John b following him

" All right so we're looking at five grand each for reparations for putting us through that bullshit. Sorry about that y'all" JJ said

" So that's what we're doing now? We're robbing drug dealers?" Kiara asked

"This Barry guys gonna find out and he's gonna come after us " Sarah said

" Yes he will this is not the time to start wilin out" Pope exclaimed

" How do you guys like having a gun pulled on you?" JJ asked and via shook her head

" Relax" John b said

" He had it right here on you bro" JJ said pointing at John he head

" Look we've got to go get the gold OK just give me that shit putting it back. Do you feel like a tough guy? Huh? What Are you gonna do when he comes after us?" John b asked

" We punch him in the throat" JJ retorted and via chuckled softly until Kiara hit her arm

" Yeah good fucking idea JJ" John b said

" I'm not putting it back. You guys are getting in or what? What?" jj asked as he got in and out of the car

"We're sick of your shit" John b stated

"My shit?" JJ questioned

"Yes. You're pulling guns on people shit" Kiara said

"You acting like a frickin maniac" Pope said and jj interrupted him

"Okay, pope, I took the fall for you, man. You know how much money I owe because of you" JJ yelled

"I'm Going to pay you back and I didn't even ask you to do that" pope yelled back

" I just did pay it back right here right now by myself. Do you know what? That's exactly what I'm gonna do go off by myself" JJ said and he put on his backpack as he walked off

"JJ" Pope tried

"Hey, wait, man" John b said and he grabbed pope

"Just let him go" Kiara said and Via shook her head

"You realize how many times he's saved your asses? Our asses? He's honestly our only physical protection. He's pissed okay , Barry is the reason his father is addicted, hes the reason I got abused, he's the reason my ex is addicted and overdosed. You guys don't fucking listen" Via said and she sat in the car until they all got in and drove to the wreck as it was closed and via got out as she walked to the dock and sat down seeing Sarah walk over her and she sighed

"V" Sarah said and Via sighed

"jjs my best friend Sar. Honestly more than anyone. He's like my brother and I've loved him like a brother my whole life. He's the brother I never had and I need him. And now he's gone and we can't find him and I blame myself" Via said and Sarah grabbed her hand

"Don't V. He'll come around, he always come back to you more than you" Sarah said and Via nodded

"I sure hope so" Via said and she leaned her head against as Sarah's shoulder as the others walked out and told her the plan

"Okay we've got this" Sarah said and via nodded against her shoulder

"Via, we know how much you care about J. He'll show up" Pope said and she nodded her head

"I really hope so P" she said and then she walked away from them as she got in the car with Sarah and John b and they drove off

She hoped this would end well but she knew it wouldn't
