This is stupid

3rd Person POV

And now here they are sitting around the fire as the cicadas chirp loudly and they watch the fire burn

"Hey Guys so my dad's like already gonna kill me so what's this mandatory meeting about?" Pope asked as Via, JJ and John B made eye contact with each other

" Might as well tell them in before we're gaffed" JJ exclaimed and vias eyebrows rose in worry

"What?" She asked and he shook his head

"Nothing ignore that" he said and she looked away from him and back to John b

"You ready for this?" He asked

"Yeah" Kiara said

" So the gold never went down with the royal merchant" John b stated

" And here we go again with this" pope said

" No all right wait hear him out all right?" Jj said and pope sighed as he nodded

" It's been here the whole time it's on the island" John b stated

" Are you serious oh my God" Kiara said

" I'd like to voice my skepticism" pope tried

" I'm sure you would pope but can I please present you with my evidence sir?" John b said standing up

" Proceed" Pope exclaimed

" All right so in my backpack I have a letter from Denmark tanny" John b said pulling out the letter

" Who the fuck is that?" Via asked

" Denmark Tanny was a slave that survived the royal merchant wreck. Check this out" John b said and he handed Kiara the letter

" Here you go. OK slaves were mentioned as crewmembers on the ship of my dad he found a complete manifest that was his big discovery. So tanny used the gold from the merchant to buy his freedom. After that, he bought his farm. Drumroll please because that farm is Tannyhill plantation" John b explained

" Tannyhill?" Via and Kiara said at the same time

"Jinx" via said

" Yeah. So, after that, he used his money to free even more slaves, and then he sold a shit ton of rice which pisses off all the white planters and then they decide to lynch him. So on the day they were coming to get him, he writes a letter to his son as a farewell, and then the last line of that letter, he leaves a code a message about where to find the gold" John b continued

"My lord where?" Via asked

" Harvest the wheat in parcel nine, near the water. Except... There's no wheat. You see, wheat is code for gold. Check this out. The gold is in parcel nine, near the water" he said and via chuckled

"Holy shit" pope said

"Oh my fuck" Via said

"All we need Is an original survey map of the property, and we found the gold." He raised his arms

" OK, so this might have a small chance of being actually true" pope said

"Dude It's like king tut" Kiara said

"Oh My god you're right" via said and jj got up hugging John b

" Hello! Fire! You're near the fighter you're gonna burn" John b said as jj put him down

" I'm so proud of you right now" JJ said

" Thank you that's actually really sweet of you" John b said

" OK so what's the plan?" Pope asked and they looked at via

" Good question pope Sarah Cameron's coming tonight she'll bring an original survey map to via obviously not to me" John b said

" Whoa hold on Sarah? Why?Sarah?" Kiara asked

"This is gonna be good" JJ said

" Sera she she got me into the archives in Chapel Hill yesterday, and that's how I got the letter" John b exclaimed

" You were in Chapel Hill with Sarah Cameron?" Kiara asked

" Why does it matter when vias the one mackin on her?" JJ said and via snapped her head to him

"JJ" she said and he raised his arms

" Yes I am making on Sarah Cameron but John b is only using her for access" Via admitted

" Did you tell her about the treasure?" Kiara asked

" I was just trying to get into the archives" John b said

" Is that a yes?" she asked

" I left out key details" John b said

"Yo what? You let a kook in on our secret? What about Pogue lyfe? What about the T-shirt company bro?" Kiara asked

" I was I was just using her for information also why are you mad at me?" John b questioned and Kiara looked at via

" Yeah why am I mad at him and not you?" Kiara asked and via scoffed

" I don't know kie but honestly you don't have a reason to be mad OK we're just trying to get filthy rich here so we can pay off a boat or I send you to autopsy school to study dead bodies or look you guys know me and John B he doesn't look like the person to fall for Sarah Cameron and I know I do and I have but I can't control my feelings kie " Via ranted

"This is stupid" Kiara said

"You can't trust her JB" She told John b and via scoffed

"That's what you think but not me. Let's just do this thing, hawks nest now" via said and they got in the Twinkie as they drove to hawks nest and via got out

"Stay here! Please" via said and she walked away and up to the hawks nest until she saw Sarah

"Sarah" she called and Sarah turned around to look at her with a smile on her face as Sarah held the map

"Hey" she whispered and via smiled at her

"HI" she said and she hugged

"I got the map, do you wanna see?" Sarah asked and via shook her head

"I'm gonna take it so I can give it to John b" Cia said and Sarah nodded

"Did you tell your crew you were here with me?" Sarah asked and Via smiled

"Did you?" Via asked

"No I will though . I don't care and I'm breaking up with topper" Sarah exclaimed

"Finally" Via said and Sarah smiled as she pulled her in and hugged her when thunder hit

"What are we doing up here?" Sarah asked

"No idea , John bs idea" Via said and they pulled away looking each other's eyes as they kissed until it all came crashing down

"I knew it Sarah. I knew you were lying to me" Topper said and via pulled away

"Topper!" Sarah said

" You're stupid , lying whore. You know that?" Topper said

" So first I'm approved and now I'm a whore" Sarah said and topper chuckled

" Yeah you are" topper exclaimed

" Shut the fuck up Topper" Via said and he pushed her softly

" you don't want this via back off" Topper said and he pushed via again until John b ran up and topper pushed him off the edge

" Guys the Railing must have been rotten I hardly touched him, I barely" Topper tried and via punched him in the jaw

"If he's dead, I'm coming after you bitch" via said and she ran down the stairs and to John b

"HELP" via yelled out with Sarah and JJ came running with pope and Kiara

"It's okay, you're okay" Sarah said

"Guys what happened?" Pope asked

" I don't know he needs help Topper shoved him" via said

" Where the hell is he?" JJ asked

" He probably ran off after I punched him in the face JJ just call someone get help I don't care who just call" Via said and she held Sarah as they cried

" Pope hurry" Kiara yelled as pope ran off. The next day John b lay in the hospital bed with Sarah and via looking at him

"Hey bird" Via said

"Where am I?" John b asked them

"St. Olives. You fell from the hawks nest" Sarah exclaimed

" You have a concussion and a broken wrist but at least you're not dead" Via said

" I need to get out of here DCS is gonna find me" John b said as he sat up

" Hang on there kid hang on. Sarah told me everything about your little adventure , about you running from the DCS and a about how you protected her and via in the tower but also about her and via" Ward said and via blushed as Sarah grabbed her hand

" John , via I believe I owe you two an apology you guys were honest well John you are and I went ahead and I fired you and I shouldn't have unfortunately from time to time I have a bit of a short fuse and I realized you can ask sarah" Ward exclaimed

"It's true" Sarah said

"And via, you have always made my daughter happy and I refused to see it and for that I'm sorry" Ward exclaimed

" I spoke with sheriff Peterkin I've offered to be your legal guardian if you'll let me" He told them

"What?" John b asked

" it mean a roof over your head and no more running from DCS" He stated

" Show her yeah sounds good" John b said

" OK then it's settled welcome to the family" Ward said and via hugged John b and then sarah

This could go real bad, real fast
