Oh my Lord

3rd Person POV

They got in the Twinkie and drove to the salvage yard with Via sitting next to JJ in the backseat

"Pope we're not stealing the drone . We're borrowing it" John B exclaimed

" Humans are the only animal that can tell fantasy from reality" Pope quoted

" Albert Einstein I like it" Via said and Pope smiled at her

" Yeah it applies to this whole treasure hunting thing. So which is it? fantasy or reality?" Pope asked as Via thought it through

" Why are you so weird pope?" JJ retorted

" It's fantasy but possible reality" Kiara exclaimed

" Reality" John b said to her

" Virtual reality" JJ stated

" Fantasy for right now but who knows?" Via exclaimed and Pope nodded st her as he took jjs blunt out of his hand

" Keep the signal clear" Pope said as he flicked it and via caught it , and put it in her pocket

"I'll hold it for you J" She said and he nodded gratefully

"We're here" John b said pulling up to the salvage yard as Kiara got out of the Twinkie

" Do you know what your problem is?" JJ asked pope

" Oh my Lord" Via whispered as she rubbed her forehead in annoyance

" You?" Pope retorted

" No is that you need to Relax man you're always so tense" JJ told him

" I'm not too tense" Pope argued

" Isn't he always tense, V?" JJ asked and she looked up

" Oh I am so not getting into this" Via said and she leaned back into her seat

"Let's hope this works" John b said and Kiara drove the car with the boat to the salvage yard as the others got out of the car but via stayed so John b turned and looked at her

"You're not coming?" John b asked her

"I can't" she said and he raised his eyebrows

"Please don't question me , JB" she asked and he nodded as he followed the others and via pulled her phone out seeing a text from Sarah

'Call me please' was what the text read and she called her

" Hey Sar what's up?" Via answered and Sarah took a breathe in

" I am going to a party tonight and are you going?" Sarah asked her and she took a breathe in

" Is it your party?" She asked her

" No but I always want you there" Sarah tried and Via sighed

" Without an invitation from the actual person I'm not going sar I'm sorry" Via exclaimed

" OK well ugh at least I tried" Sarah said

" Yeah bye Sarah" She exclaimed

" Bye butterfly" Sarah told her and via chuckled as she ended the call right as pope , John b and Jj got in the Twinkie

" Oh was that Chris? cat? Sarah?" JJ asked her and she blushed

" The last one" Via told them and JJ smiled at her softly as she smiled back at him

"Im hoping you two figure it out, you're cute" jj said and via smiled at him

"Thanks J" she said and he nodded

"So the wreck?" John b asked and via nodded

"That's probably where Kiara went" Via told them and John b started the car as he drove to the wreck and got out of the car opening the door for via as she had moved into the front seat.

"Well thank you sir John" she said and he bowed to her with a smile

"Always my dear lady" he said in the same posh accent as they walked into the wreck and via walked over to Kiara

"I brought our hooligans" via said and Kiara smiled at her

"You aren't mad at me?" Kiara asked and Via shoved her shoulder with a smile on her face

"I could never , survival of the fittest" Via said

"Hey dad. How was today?" Via asked him as she hugged him and he hugged her back

"Didnt turn it over once" he told her and she hissed softly

"It's probably just bad luck because of the storm" Kiara said as via let go and she hugged him

"Yeah, I'll be sure to tell the banks that" He said and via chuckled

"So does that mean we can get free food?" Via asked

" Look at them they're greedy pelicans thought I told you to stop being around them" he told them

" Everyone but cat hates us at the kook academy, dad" Via told him

" Because you never gave them a chance" He stated

" We did give them a chance they got stuck up they care more about shoes then surfing. I remember one time we went to pick up trash and someone got mad that his shoes got dirty and not about the litter on the ground I mean what are we supposed to do that?" Via exclaimed

" These are our people dad these are friends" Kiara said as she looked over and they waved at them

" Well I I got a throw out so have it" he said and kiara hugged him

" Thank you" Kiara said

" You're welcome I'll bring it out" he told them and turned to walk away

" Sit" Via told them and they sat down as they started to eat and kiara got up bringing John b to dance with her. Via got pope and started to dance with him as she then got jj and switched dancing with them

" Hey v" pope asked her

" Yeah pope" she said

" Thanks for caring" he said and she smiled as she hugged him and he hugged her back

"I'll always care" she whispered and then she let go hugging JJ as he held her.

" girls we gotta go" Their dad called to them and via looked at John b , pope and jj

"Get home safe" she said and they nodded at her words as she walked out to the car with Kiara and her dad. She got in the backseat and got home.

She went to her room and took off her pants with her jewelry again and brushed her teeth. As she went to her bed and fell asleep.

The next day , she woke up to honking and got up and dressed. She walked outside with Kiara and got into the Twinkie as they drove to the dock and set up everything as via sat next to jj dangling her feet in the water with John b and Kiara in the water

" What's this?" Jj asked

" Don't touch that I'm trying to work out this thing" pope exclaimed

" God bless geeks pope truly, man. What would we do without you to control the Drones?" JJ said and via pointed her finger in agreement

" Well technically it's not a drone it's an ROV" Pope tried

" Shut up shut up it's too early for that right now" Jj said and via agreed again

" Hey once we get footage of the rec will bring it to a lawyer in town and file a formal claim" John b stated

" It's such bullshit why do we have to do that?" Jj asked

" Well there is Maritimes I would like you can just go to the ocean floor and scoop a bunch of stuff up" Pope said

" I know I know it's just lawyers ain't cheap bro" JJ said

" Well as soon as they see the footage the work for a comp" John b told them

" How do you know all of that?" Kiara questioned

" Because this was like big John's life he probably said it a lot of times" Via said

" Yeah that's fair" Kiara said and climbed out of the water

"This tether is really long. In the wrong weather could get pushed around" Pope stated

" Then well go at dead calm" He stated

" Slack tide?" Via and Kiara agreed

" So now we just got a wait around for the right weather and today is not that day" Pope said and they watched the clouds roll in

" Hey guys I have to go see cat so I'm gonna head out" Via said and they all nodded in agreement

"Bye V" they all said and she smiled as she pulled her bike out of the back of the Twinkie and road it to cat and she knocked on the door

"Via finally" cat said and she pulled via into the house

" I heard about Chris, he's still looking for you" Cat said and via ran a hand through her hair

"Yeah I know but he can suck it" she said and cat nodded

"So John b and kie?" Cat asked and via shook her head

"Nah kie doesn't like him like that but she does like you like that" she said and Cat smiled

"She told you that?" Cat questioned

"No but she didn't have to" Via stated and Cat smiled at her as via walked upstairs and into cats room. Cat and Via stayed up all night in cats room just talking to each other. They fell asleep at 2:00 in the morning and woke up at 10:30. Vias phone rang and she answered

"What's up?" She groaned

"You down for some surfing?" John b asked her and she sat up wiping the sleep from her eyes when cat woke up after her

"Always" via said and she looked at cat

"Wanna go surfing with us?" Via asked her and cat smiled

"Yeah" Cat said

"Cats coming with us JB" Via stated

"The more the merrier" he said and they ended the call as she put their swimsuits on as well as their clothes and they rode to the beach pulling up , they started surfing until it was dark out

"Shit I have to go" Cat said and Kiara kissed her cheek

"Bye kitty" via said and cat hugged her softly

"Bye v" She said and she waved at the others as she walked away to her car and got in while the others walked to the Twinkie and drove to John bs. They went to the hammocks as via sat on one next to Kiara and jj

" You really think it's out there like no bullshit?" Pope asked

" My father thought it was" John b said

" But do you?" Pope asked

" After hearing his voice on that tape I think I do" John b stated

" Only one way to find out" Pope stated snd they did the handshake together

" Look we're gonna find it do you know you've been JJ believes" Kiara said

" Oh my God JJ do you really believe?" John b asked and via sat

" Oh my god does JJ believe in something?" Via sarcastically asked and Kiara chuckled

" Totally wait are we talking about five mil?" Jj asked

" 500 mil" Kiara, Via, Pope, And John B all said together

" I'm going to dream about shipwrecks. Good night bird!" He said to John b as Via chuckled

" Good night bird shit!" John b said and Jj flipped him off. The next morning they drove out to the coordinates and they stopped the boat

" All right JJ pin it here" John b called out to him

" Roger that X Marks the Spot" JJ said and he stopped the boat

" All right ladies and gentlemen to going full kook" John b said and he dropped the drone in

" All right JJ were right over 10 seconds Northwest" John b said

" Got it 10 seconds Northwest" Jj said and maneuvered the boat

" 100 feet" Kiara and Via called as pope gasped with via

" And to quote the hobbit 'down down To goblin town down down you go my lad'" pope said

" I love the fact that you're a nerd" via said and he smiled gratefully at her

" 400 feet" Kiara called

" The tides turning" via called

" Hey JJ 10 seconds easy south south east" John b said

" Copy that" jj said and he turned the boat

" JJ 20 seconds Midspeed all right South" John b bossed

" Copy that aye, aye. Come on" Jj said to the boat

" Keep the tether out of the prop" Pope called

" Were trying" Kiara and Via said

" John b, is that good?" Jj called

"We're good. We're good" John b said

"700 feet" Kiara called out as she marked it down on the boat

" JJ hold it steady" John b said

"Okay 900" Via called

"Jj we'll turtle in this storm" John b called out to jj

"920" Via said

" Crank it North by Northwest 10 seconds" He said

" Pope how are we doing?" He now asked pope

"Almost there" pope said

" Jumpy there's too much current we're gonna lose it" Kiara called as she and via pulled it

" South southwest JJ hard" He called

" Half speed steady at this bearing JJ. What do you got pope ?what do you see?" He asked pope

" Nothing a whole Lotta nothing" pope Exasperated

" Come on you should be right above it brother" John b said

" Via" Pope called

"960,970,980" Kiara called out

" I'm at the bottom I'm at the bottom!" Pope said

" OK stay here JJ study here quarter speed all right you should be seeing something man" John b said

" I know I know wait wait good God" pope said

"See anything?" Jj asked

"It's the royal merchant" John b said

Via knew this wasn't the end though, it was too easy
